Needed two items reupholstered. One repaired from animal damage and one from age and use breaking it down. They quoted the best price of the several places I spoke to. Picked up the next day from my house, finished the work in 2 days (ahead of the quoted time), delivered back to my house, all as part of quoted price. Work very satisfactory. Repair of couch left a seam across arm, but it was understandable as there was no way to source enough of the original material to completely replace the section without a seam, so they took fabric from a cushion and replaced that piece with a similar fabric and left it in a place unseen with normal use. Given the damage to the area they fixed, the repair looks good and for the price was more than acceptable given the alternative was completely reupholstering the entire item for 3x the price or more. Good pricing, quick pick up and turn around time, solid work. No complaints aside from wishing they had used a darker leather on the second item, as the original leather was darker than the replacement, but overall the entire job was well done. Our dog tore open our sofa and pulled out the stuffing, so after reaching out to various re-upholstery companies in the area, Manuel at A&J Upholstery was able to provide us with the best quote for the repair plus pick-up and delivery. Manuel picked up our sofa, did the repairs, and dropped it off within a reasonable time. He did an excellent job at re-stuffing and sewing our sofa back together, and even made it extra comfortable than before our dog went to town on it. When he returned the sofa, he was even able to take a couple pillows and repair them as well, and they're bigger now, too. The value of his work is great and I would highly recommend him to repair any furniture that you have that may need re-upholstered. Hopefully our dog doesn't get any ideas with our other sofa anytime soon, but if he does, I know who to call. 5-stars! read more

We took our Barrel Chair to Manuel to get reupholstered. It took a few days longer than he originally anticipated but he did an excellent job, the quality of work shows in how nice the chair looks now. He gave us a fair price unlike some other companies out there who are way overpriced and nickel and dime for nails and staples. Would recommend and use again for future projects. read more

I had taken a pleather salon shampoo chair to get repaired at a local place.Turnaround was going to be 5 days.I went out of town and came back to pick it up 7 days later.It had not been touched and was in the corner not even touched and covered in dust.I told tbe guy there I needed it back and I was taking it somewhere else.He asked for the paperwork and I said I wasn't given any.I asked where the guy was and He said He went out of town.So I said I'm taking it and you can get hold of the guy." We have a very large custom leather sofa from Omnia USA that was 11 years old. The cushions were flattened over the years but the leather in great condition so we found A&J via yelp and after reading the reviews was impressed enough to invest in revitalizing the sofa. Manuel was professional and very knowledgeable as what we wanted and what the job needed. His turn around time was extremely impressive and picked up & dropped off. After receiving the sofa back exceeding our expectations we decided to have our kitchen chairs, dinning room seat cushions, and another sofa all refreshed with new fabric. Once again he came out and went over our ordered fabric and what we were looking for in the second job. His turn around time was one week. It was a small investment with the labor and fabric purchased but when you have quality furniture and receive quality workmanship it makes you feel great about having the pieces for another 10 plus years.
