The renovation is necessary due to several machines constantly out of order are not drying clothes thoroughly. However, I found the prices very reasonable: $4.99 to wash a big load ( comforter, towels, sheets, etc). The driers charged a quarter for twelve minutes. The location has a small parking lot thus if you drive you most probably find a space. There are nearby restaurants such as Campania, Met Fresh Supermarket and Kitty Kieran's to relax and have a drink if your laundry load is overwhelming. They expect to reopen in around five weeks and are under new management. This location is now Bubbles and Sudd. This is my neighborhood laundromat; reliable and I like the Manager who supervised. He is professional, caring band very personable. I look forward to grand reopening and see if the improvements made were worth it.

When I left there was still nothing out there. I emailed the company on their gmail account and so far no response. I explained to him that I don't go anywhere else and it was him that took the measurements for the cuff. Still denied it and ended up cursing me out and calling me a liar. When I picked them up, the Army uniform had Air Force ribbons placed on it, and the actual Army ribbons were missing entirely. When I brought this to their attention, instead of taking responsibility, the owner immediately dismissed the issue and claimed they would never make that mistake, placing the blame on me. The way this was communicated was disrespectful and lacked basic customer service. There was no attempt to understand or resolve the situation professionally. They did offer to replace the missing ribbons, but even then the attitude remained poor. After I wrote down exactly what was missing, the owner handed me the ribbons in a bag and said, "I'm not putting them together." This is despite the fact that I had already paid for the placement of accouterments. It felt like because they specialize in military uniforms, they believe customers have no other option and can be spoken to however they want. That kind of approach is unacceptable. Attention to detail and professionalism matter, especially when handling service uniforms. I would not recommend this business based on both the lack of accountability and how it was handled.

I once soaked a shirt that I got sauce on and brought it in a separate bag with my laundry, it was still wet but I told the woman to put it all together since I rinsed the sauce off the shirt. She wanted to charge me $7 extra just because the shirt was wet!!! I always tip, even though more than half the time I leave angry and upset. The other day my bill came out to an even number with change, and I always leave the change for them plus a buck or two. I give her a twenty and told her to keep the coins, and she just stands there waiting for me to leave. I ask for my change, and she gives me a look like I just robbed her and killed her children. Did she really think I was tipping her $10?!?!?! Really?!?!? Her?!?!?! That woman is horribly unfriendly, never smiles, and gives people a nasty attitude. Others doing their laundry have complained about the same thing. I hope she is not the owner, and if not she should be fired immediately. I know several people that stopped going there only because of her. They used to have really sweet staff. There was a very lovely woman working there just a year back and her lack of English did not stop her from smiling and being pleasant. There was also a young girl there who was always helpful.
