I don't usually like to leave a review unless it's worth posting. A&L Sheds clearly made the cut. I don't know any other company who actually send a text message to their clients every year just to check on them and their work. I recently got a text message from A&L Sheds letting me know that my shed is almost 3 years old and warranty for craftsmanship is almost expiring Who does that? They asked me if I'm happy with it and if I have questions or concern, so I asked if the ramp is covered by warranty? They quickly replied and said YES! They set me up with the date and Santiago who drove all the way from Pearland came and replaced my ramp free of charge. I'm really impressed by how they do their business and how they stand behind their work. I highly recommend them. read more

Worse than not good, we have been waiting a year for our build. It's been very little contact since they took our deposit $12,400 . The only time I get a response is when I speak the truth and it upsets Amanda. Well truth is at one point A&Lsheds seemed to be a responsible company. Not sure when the switch flipped but all comments from 2023 builds are not good, most state that money was taken and still waiting on build a year later, claims of injury to husband who is the contractor in 2023. ok so he's down one or two months why are they behind over a year? Refunds? No one has received one that I can see. Please beware if a company ask for 1/2 down, wait list 6 months . there is a lot of unanswered emails and phone calls. Amanda is kind and apologetic until pushed for build date or refund, and oh how she will keep you on that hook,just hoping you didn't just loose all your money. Ever heard of a Ponzi scheme!? This company here is right in the middle of getting away with one. All promise, no deliver. June 29th paid $2,125.00 deposit with a build date of September 20th. A week before I received an email pushing me back to mid November with the option to get a refund or 50 dollars off a week. I was understanding and chose to wait. Not even a week later I received another email pushing me back until mid January 2024 with the same option of a refund or keep 50 dollars off a week. I chose to get a refund this time on 9-18-23 and was told 30 days (10-29-23) it would be processed. Low and behold on 10-30-23 I have not received anything and when I reached my out to get ahold of Amanda I got a snooty receptionist that made me "schedule" a call with Amanda the next day! I was also told they couldn't do a credit card refund and that I would get a cashiers check mailed out on 10-31-23. That didn't happen and when I finally spoke to Amanda I got the typical sob story about Santiago that has had this messed up ankle for lord knows how long ... regardless I was told I'd get my money back this date and it didn't happen so here we are. This seems to be a common theme with this company lately. O and get this! They are refunding peoples money in order right ?!? But while on the phone with Amanda she made a comment that since my project was so small and such a small refund I should get it quicker!? Dont fall for the cheap prices and awesome pictures that they spam daily... they deleted my from facebook for posting facts. Totally unethical and needs to be shut down! BBB has been filed. Lawyers are next. Though lawyers won't get my money back it'll be nice to cause them a nice headache and possibly put them out of business. read more

This company is an absolute scam. We signed a contract in August and paid them thousands as a deposit for a shed to be built in mid-November. After taking our money, they notified us the shed would be pushed back until February due to an injury to their builder, which we later found out happened months before our contract was even signed. Now they argue "force majeure", which could not possibly apply to a situation they knew about for months, and keep pushing our refund an extra week or two every week. In essence, they are taking money from people for services they know they will not be able to perform. This is fraud, pure and simple. read more

Feb 5th we paid $8727 down on a 16x30 cabin shell A&L were to build for us with a May 1st start date. We were all ready to get it built when we were told there would be a delay to June 1st due to Santiago's broken ankle. A week before June 1st, we are notified that there are 25 or 26 jobs ahead of ours and we are being pushed out to the end of July for our start date. They offered $100 off per week of delay. At first, we were willing to wait, but not with it being so far out. We needed our cabin in May, not August. We requested a refund on June 1st. We were told they would need up to 20 business days to process the refund! 20 BUSINESS DAYS! They took our money in 1 day but are dragging their feet refunding it when THEY couldn't get the job done. So far they have refunded $2000. We have been waiting for the rest since June 1st. I will update my review if they do the right thing and refund our $6727 balance before legal action is taken. Beware! Although their photos look beautiful, I'd look elsewhere for a company that doesn't require half down. Definitely a SCAM! Santiago's ankle was hurt prior to them taking our money in February. They knew then that they wouldn't be building our cabin in May. We are not alone. They have taken advantage of many. They schedule you so far out so you can't file a credit card dispute. Absolutely terrible company! Do NOT use them unless you plan on waiting forever for them to finally build or not get the refund you are promised. We originally were scheduled to have a shed built in September. We paid half in June to get set up. Since then, our date has been pushed back TWICE due to "Santiago's broken ankle". We initially agreed to wait for the build, but after the second push back we requested our refund that they offered. we were told it would take 30 days to get our money back (funny how some reviews are saying 20!). it has been over 30 days and we still have not received a penny back. My husband has also been dealing with attitude with the staff when he calls to follow up, along with them trying to justify the situation by stating that they are giving us a refund when technically it's non-refundable! we are giving them a few more days to make things right before we get lawyers involved.. I really hate that the first review for these guys is a bad one and Im not one for writing bad reviews. BUT, I had Amanda put me on the schedule to have a 10x12 shed built. The response and customer service was superb until the day of my build. I was told that the contractor would arrive between 2p-4p and the build would take 5 hours. I took time off of work and expected them to arrive between the hours I was told....then about 3pm Amanda emailed me to apologize, but her crew was running late and they would arrive closer to 5pm. I was concerned for them running out of daylight or being in a rush to complete the job. I was reassured that it would be built without a hitch. Along comes 7pm, and still no show. I reached out and said "They still have not arrived. I'm getting the feeling that they won't be coming at all. What is going on?" Her response was "Excuse me ?! Why would they not come at all? He's three minutes away." Instead of trying to make things right, I got attitude. That was the final straw. I sent her a response to call her contractor to cancel. He DID arrive a few minutes later and I turned him away. About 30min later I received a condescending email saying that she was sorry I felt that way... and "....his time of arrival wouldn't matter. whether he arrived at 4,5 or 7. Uh, hello! 7pm plus a 5 hour build is a completion at MIDNIGHT. I don't know about y'all's neighbors, but mine probably wouldn't have appreciated nail guns popping off at that hour. read more
