I already had an initial quote for repairs, but my insurance company wanted a second one. Not having dealt with an insurance claim I really didn't know where to start. She took her time, answered all my questions and laid out how they will get the repairs done. Then she scheduled our inspection/estimate. Pawel (Paul) came to the house to survey the damages. I was at work and my wife was at home. Pawel took his time, let my wife get me on the phone and answered all our questions. Pawel is a true gentleman and was very respectful of our time and property. I had a detailed estimate within 48 hours of Pawel's departure. Of course, waiting on the insurance company to go through their internal process was a pain, but Laurie maintained contact and did not pressure us in getting them there any sooner. As soon as our settlement was in Laurie was able to get us right onto the schedule. On the day of work the B&B Siding Team showed up at 7:45am with an army. Needed an entire new roof w/ shingles and rafter/structure/soffit and siding repairs. 6.5 hours later and I had a new roof! Weather delayed the gutter team but they again showed up as rescheduled and both Pawel and Laurie kept me apprised every step of the way. I have a full enclosed gutter and Pawel made sure the gutter install team was aware of that. Money well spent! The entire experience was regarding in the end as I have my garage back, better than ever. Peace of mind that the job was done right.

cry-baby and dishonest concrete contractor! got a high quote…read more$2300 from asad to replace two flags (squares) of a sidewalk in rockaway beach; insurance company requested the repair so just wanted to get it done asap. asad showed up a couple hours later than promised with his brand new red truck and 2 "assistants" from the home depot parking lot. using a little hand grinder (4") to cut the squares was the first hint that this job was not going to be done professionally! (i hired bricktech because a couple of weeks previously they had done a clean, quality job for my neighbor.) i asked asad to please use a larger grinder to properly cut the slab. i return from getting a coffee and asad's 2 "assistants" are packing the broken concrete of the original 5" slab into the flags that are about to be hand mixed and poured; i tell asad that the new slab he is installing can not be 2" thick and he should replace the original 5" slab with a 5" slab especially since it is a corner with a bus stop. asad suddenly says he can't do the job if i am not happy! i had zelled him $1150 (%50) as he started the job; as per our agreement. i ask asad why he is doing such a crappy, dishonest job for me when he recently did a nice job, up the block, for my neighbor. asad starts to cry and tells his 2 "assistants" to stop work and get back into the fancy new truck. wow! wow! i never met a cry-baby concrete contractor!! asad obviously embarrassed to tell his dad about his unprofessionalism has not reimbursed any part of the money. i really think asad is a spoiled child who just wants to drive an expensive new red truck but he does not know how to do his job. he is unprofessional and incompetent; i recommend working exclusively with his father or any other contractor. asad left me with a large 2 flag hole to fill at 3pm! luckily i was able to get a yard of premix delivered (whithin 1hr) and knew two guys who could help otherwise it would have been stressful! reimburse me what you owe. asad you are a dishonest person who needs to grow up!

What started out as a minor roof repair for a water leak developed into one of my better home investment decisions. As a first-time homebuyer experiencing an ongoing leak, I weighed my options for a roof repair with several roofing contractors. What stood out about Jon and his team was their positive reviews and responsiveness. An estimator came to my home in less than 12 hours for a free quote and more importantly, provided insight to where the water was coming from and options to remedy the problem. Based on my conversations I decided to go with a small, repair job. When the roofers began their work, the situation evolved into something more serious. Inside I feared this all along: that a repair would only delay the water from eventually coming back into the house. And that's when I talked it over in person with Jon. He sparked my inner financier and advised that a complete roof replacement would be a long-term investment for the home and the work would be covered for 50 years under the GAF warranty. I agreed. Unbelievably, his crew of 10 guys showed up the next morning, and like a well-oiled machine, completed the job that same day.
