I tried to pick up a package last Wednesday since this place is a UPS access point only to find out they mailed the package back two days before the deadline. The clerk was extremely confused and dismissive. I showed him the UPS tracking history and that I had until Friday to pick it up and asked why they mailed it back. He misread the information and insisted that the package was not delivered yet and it would arrive on Friday. I clarified that he was looking at the deadline and it arrived a week earlier. When I said that, he said they shipped it back to UPS but that it "might" be back on Friday. I never got an answer as to why they shipped it back before the deadline. If you need to pick up your package, do it ASAP because they only hold packages for a week or less. Also be persistent since the store associates may not understand the pick up process. As far as the liquor store goes, this place has overpriced products. I asked how much sour candy strips would cost and it was almost $4. Also the wrong hours are posted here on Yelp. Bad service, one of the staffs told me that he can't sell anything to me. Last time, I didn't have cash, so I went out and kept finding it. Next time, I did bring extra cash to pay for the last time. However, he yelled at me and can't sell anything although I explained I have enough cash to pay back. Since the last time, he looked down on me when I charged the total. This place is probably one of the only places that I can say for certain has saved my life. No really, it's no exaggeration - it quite literally has saved my life; and what does it exactly save me from? Boredom. This is an excellent place to stock up on packs of gum and Diet Coke. Besides the abundance of gum and Diet Coke, and diverse clientele, I love A&N because of the cashier/owner/?. She is ALWAYS either on the phone yelling at someone or talking to some other woman who is allowed to sit behind the register although she is presumably not an employee. If she's not on the phone, she discusses odd topics with this woman very loudly. And, most importantly, she is constantly eating hard boiled eggs. No matter what time of day or night I drag my ass into A&N, she is always sitting on her chair, talking, and peeling a hard boiled egg. I have never been A&N without the above happening. read more

Yeah, the selection could be better.... but it's a neighborhood liquor store in freaking Ingleside (aka middle-of-nowhere for San Fran). The same lady is always here and she's really nice. This place is so odd to me!!! As a liquor store it meets most customer's needs but the setup of the store is just peculiar. The color of the store as well is a weird salmon that just sucks the life out of you. Oh, get this. So, I use to go here periodically and get my occasional bottle of wine and the counter lady and I became familiar, simple greetings and acknowledgements. But, the thing that would drive me crazy would be that she ALWAYS CARD ME. How do you see me every two weeks and recognize and then card me every time. My debit was charged twice for my can of beer. She said didn't go thru I said nu ugh know I have more than enough to cover the cost. So she slid my card again said ok.
