Well I'm going on 2 weeks and both my toes and nails look perfect still! I highly recommend the paraffin treatment, it made my hands and feet feel baby skin smooth. The place was clean , staff friendly. I did feel a bit rushed which I didn't mind at all bc I'm not trying to stay there all day. One tech did my nails while I was in the pedi chair getting my toes done so like I said, it wasn't exactly relaxing. I will return though. read more

I've been to this nail salon twice in the past month and was over charged both times. I went in for a FILL and for a PEDICURE. Walked out paying $93!!! When I questioned the price, they advised "I needed 2 nails fixed". The two nails that needed to be fixed were nails the tech popped off and did not need to replace with a tip, only covered with acrylic. Also said there was an extra charge to push back my cuticles and for a shape anything other than round. Save yourself the time and money and do not go to this salon. I am not one to complain but this is outrageous. There are much better salons for quality and price right down the street. If I could leave zero stars, I would. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon on and off for years. For pedicures I always ask for Bin. He is so good! He gets rid of ingrown nails and gives the Longest massages! I used to get gel manicures but that gel polish ruined my nails since I ended up Picking it off after 2 weeks. But when I did get them done once here, I didn't like the way it came out. Now I have acrylics back on and the girl I had today (Li I believe) was excellent!! I showed her a photo of What I wanted and she followed it perfectly. They are pink French manicure with some rhinestones. I love them! I wish this salon would offer a free glass of wine with their services like Pink and White across the street. It would be a nice touch. They didn't offer me anything here, not even a water. But I'll still be back. read more

Absolutely the worst nail salon I've ever been to! I went in for a pedicure and a refill. (Only because I was getting my car fixed at tire choice and due to time) I only Did the pedicure because I wasn't even going to try and do my nails there after how terrible my pedicure was. She had to keep fixing her mistakes and then finally she said she was done I looked down and told her my big toe looked terrible. She actually told me it was because my nail was not Right!!! Mind you at my regular shop my tech loves how big my nail beds are and I've never ever been told my nail was messed up and that's because it's not!!! Lol. Never will I ever go back!! read more

This is the salon to go to. Clean and calming. Tina is my girl and she's always doing such a good job on my acrylics - normal color, gel, or even ombré. She's awesome and super nice! All the technicians do a good job so I never worry if Tina isn't available. read more

WORST NAIL SALON EXPERIENCE IVE EVVVVVEEEEERRRRR HAD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I walked in (out of my comfort zone from my ritual perfectionist nail lady) tried this salon due to lack of time. I requested that I pay before hand for my mani pedi with gel. THEY DENIED MY BUSINESS bc I did not have my ID for my debit card (pin verified) since I was carrying my minimally sized YSL clutch. They completely wasted my time and they didn't have one customer (they suck, it shows!!!!!!!!) In shock how poorly I was treated. I am not an average joe... I walked in with a clutch that costs 2k Pay $500 on when I get my highlights done ATLEAST $250 a month on nails. Don't give this place your business read more

I would rate this 2.5 stars if I could, but decided to go up to 3 because they do good work. My first visit was a 5 star rating. My nails looked great, pricing was on par with other salons and I love the extended hours. Went back for a second visit and was asked to pay through Zelle, which apparently goes to a person who is not even in the salon. This person on the phone says they didn't receive my payment (even though I had confirmation and it had been taken out of my account) and asked if could wait around for a few. I did but then it got to be an excessive amount of time and I was ready to go. They told me I would need to pay again or they couldn't let me leave and that if the Zelle payment ended up coming through they'd "remember" and give me my money back. Sorry, no, I'm not shelling out $200 for a simple mani pedi. Eventually they "let" me leave but proceeded to follow me to the parking lot and take pictures of my license plate, after taking pictures of me as well. I got a text the next day that they received the payment. But this left such a bad taste in my mouth that I would never return. They acted like I was a criminal and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. So if you do go, pay cash. read more

A and Q nail salon extremely welcoming, The place is impeccably clean, smells fresh, not like chemicals, and the employees are very welcoming. We were immediately seated after choosing our colors. We opted for the basic pedicure ($22), but they offer other services. The massage chairs were awesome, as were the foot soaks. They spent a lot of time massaging our legs and feet, as well as taking the time to remove calluses and rough spots. Although they offered us other services, they didn't hound us when we declined, like other salons tend to do. My toes looked great, and was pleased with the overall experience. This is my go-to salon for pedicures and manicures. They're usually quick, there's hardly ever a wait, and I love that their basic pedicure still includes a decent foot massage. They also have gel nail polishes, which is becoming a new thing of mine to indulge in. I've also never had a problem with any of the sweet ladies who work at the salon. Everyone is always so nice and accommodating by offering water, candy, and making sure you're never waiting too long. If you're in North Tampa aI can't recommend A&Q enough. read more

I went here because my friend said this is where she usually gets her nails done...big mistake. I asked for matte black and white nails with an almond shape and what I got was not even close to that. After all of this I was charged fifty dollars, so way overpriced for messy and subpar nails. I didn't want to make a fuss and ask them to redo them since I was with my friend. But I did get them redone at the place I usually go (Pro Nails) and they look perfect now. Definitely don't go here if you're looking for something trendy and different. read more

My best friend and I had gone to this salon once previously; the work then was pretty good and I had no issues. THIS time around, however, was completely disappointing. I got a pink and white mani/pedi- the pedicure was totally acceptable, the manicure was awful. For starters, the manicurist didn't have his license out for display, which later made sense because instead of using a cuticle pusher he used his own fingernail. (That was so gross to me because he later made me bleed and after still continued using his finger nail!) The end result was sloppy, with the white polish not fully cleaned up on my nail. And then in the end I paid seventy two dollars. I'm fine with paying that much if the work was great, but this was absolutely horrendous work. Never coming back again. read more

Decided to try a new place while running errands in the area. What a mistake. Sure the place was clean and probably a great place if you want just a solid color or classic french done. Forget a design. They told me they couldn't do what I originally wanted. Which is no big deal I found something less complicated and had a picture. They did something completely different than the picture. Not even the right colors. It took three tries for it to be corrected. Maybe it was a language barrier or something. The staff made the rest of the manicure very uncomfortable. A mocking tone is the same in any language. For the money I paid I would have prefered to not have wasted so much time and been ridiculed for trying to get what I actually wanted. You wont see me in there ever again. read more

While it has been awhile since I have visited A & Q Nail Salon, I must say that I had a wonderful experience when I stopped by recently for a pedicure. It was a treat for myself as I usually just stop in for eyebrow waxing but I was in need of some pampering that day. I was greeted immediately and escorted to a massage chair where I was asked if I would like a beverage. The massage chair was adjusted to my liking and it was truly heavenly sitting there. The pedicure was wonderful. There was so much massaging and pampering going on I thought, perhaps, they had no heard me when I asked for the basic $25 pedicure. Surely all of these attention was going to cost me more. Nope, it was only $25! I was so relaxed and felt so pampered when I left there. I may have to treat myself more often. While there was relaxing music playing in the background throughout the salon I must say that I was put off by the three television screens in the business tuned to the Christian Television Network. As a non religious person I felt that it's not really appropriate in this atmosphere. Most of my time was spent with my eyes closed enjoying the relaxing pedicure. read more

The pedicure was short, no attention to my cuticles, and definitely didn't get the good scrub down that you would want with a pedicure. A&Q Nail Salon is the best. I am diabetic, so finding a mani-pedi that does not end up in any infections was a long long quest until I found A&Q. As a man, other salons always made me feel like I was the odd man out. A&Q always welcomes me, asks if my wife is going to come too (we sometimes go together but I like the attention and quiet time to myself mostly). Sometimes I get the deluxe mani-pedi, sometimes just the basic =. It does not matter to then. I go there at least once a month, and always enjoy it.
