My tech seemed repulsed by my appearance. I am heavy and heavily tattooed. This precipitated a pedicure I really don't like. This woman was telling me "No! I said put your foot here" ... who talks to clients like that? My daughter on the other hand had a great experience and her pedicure looks fantastic. Excellent services! At my first appointment before we got started my nail tech asked me "what are your nail goals?". I didn't even know what they were, I was never asked before! Because the salon offers everything - gelX, Russian manicures, etc.- we talked through the options, the results I was looking for and found the best option for me. I was so happy with the hard gel mani we did! I came in 3 weeks later with it perfectly intact (through pool days, a beach vacation, cleaning products, and excessive hand washing). I found the price very reasonable, especially considering it lasts a month! I love that it's appointment only too. All around excellent experience- clean, relaxing environment. Even a great playlist. 3.5 Stars I went on a Friday afternoon, and for a little while it was just me and one other person getting our nails done. The shop was bright and pretty, and I heard talk that it is under new management to go along with its new name. They seemed to have a wide variety of polish colors to choose from, and the cost was $30 for their base level pedicure. To be honest, I did not love the technician assigned to give me a pedicure. She was very tentative and slow, and nicked the tip of one of my toes right from the beginning. She did not speak any English so it was very hard to tell her about issues I needed her to address. Most maddening was that there were four or five technicians sitting nearby watching television, who made no effort to help. I was actually getting ready to leave before my new polish was even on, when someone finally realized that all was not going swimmingly. Maybe the Owner? She asked if I wanted a different technician, and I said yes - as long as that person had experience. Thankfully my new technician was awesome and did a very thorough job, so I still left happy after such a dismal start. read more

Lee has made every effort to create to close to a natural looking manicure as one could possibly do. Recently she has used a process that replaced the artificial looking gel previously used. I walked into the salon today with full intentions to get my current set taken off(that I got done elsewhere) and to get a simple gel polish to leave with so I could remove it at home myself when the time came. Angie has changed my entire view on not just a salon but what you should expect from your nail tech. She has so much knowledge that she is willing to share not only to benefit the longevity of my nails but what the specific style I chose entailed. I really wish I could say this was a top-notch salon.. I firstly showed up to my appointment about 5-10 mins earlier than my appointment time and patiently waited, although the nail tech I had chose originally didn't pay me no mind.. one of the techs in the front (the older woman w/glasses I believe; who did my nails) told me to wait and she'll take care of me shortly. The service itself wasn't completely bad, however overall experience was horrible!!! It was Friday (slight afternoon rush) which is understandable for a nail salon but unusual for a salon that is appointment-based and should have everything timed. I felt completely rushed the entire service and when it came time to paint and pay, I felt as if I had no other option but to tell her the nails were fine because at that point she was already working on the next client and had them seated in the chair next to me. I proceeded to pay normally; the gel full set is $45 however she charged me $60. When I asked why I was being charged more, she said " I charged you extra for the shape and length but I only charged $5 instead of the usual $10" *face palm* BOTH of which were horribly done. I asked for coffin and long nails... yet I received medium size and every single nail shape is different.. in the picture posted you can see how uneven they are. I've had my nails done from small business owners to everyday shops and I now see why independent artist are on a rise, because the traditional way of not listening and being mutually understanding to all customers is out and quality with real time reviews are definitely in. Fast forward to when I sat in the car and took a better look, I was extremely displeased to the point where my overall visit and outcome of my nails made me tear up a bit because I felt so overwhelmed. I proceeded to go back inside and I asked her, "why I was charged yet again if my nails weren't the length or the shape that I wanted" and she told me straight face "if you didn't like the nails you should've told me before you got up from the chair".. in complete shock I asked her if there was anyway I could either get my money back or have her fixed shape and she told me that there was nothing that she could do.. I asked her if I could wait and she told me that she would be booked for the rest of the day. So at that point I felt completely defeated with the entire situation and I just told her that I'll go ahead and give her a call when I figure out what my schedule would work best with hers, because she told me she'd be booked until the next week.. so when I called another lady picked up and I asked her if the original guy (Khiem) was able to fix my nails for me and she told me, "NO because he's really busy and the other lady was the one who messed them up so she's the one that would have to fix them".... I then asked her when her next availability was and she told me either 9 in the morning on Tuesday or 6 o'clock in the evening. Which to me just sounds ridiculous.. I honestly just wiped my hands with this situation, but I highly recommend doing further research with all the nail salons in the area before going to this salon and having a similar experience as I did. My mom and I went for manicures for my Mom's birthday and the staff were SO kind and accommodating and both of our nail technicians, Tina and Jasmine, did an EXCELLENT job. Ah-MAZING!!!! I was in the area as I had to take my mother to an appointment. I figured I would get a pedi to pass the time. How glad I am that I did!!! Being new to FL from LI, NY I had gotten a totally "meh" and expensive one a couple weeks before. It was meh as they barely got the cuticles and nail shaping; the callus remover didn't sit and remove; the slightly ingrown toenail not dig into... But here was amazing. Firstly the decor is awesome - very mew and white with accented flowers and crystal light fixtures. The massage chairs were Devine. I walked in and was greeted so warmly. The prices I am finding for the same service as NY are higher in FL (like 40 here v. 25 standard there) but they were flexible in including a 10 minute massage to the service I wanted. The products were very luxe as well - the lotion was a thick cream and the extra massage great! Also loved that when they applied the scrub they actually took time to scrub and massage it in. How often I have had a few swipes with it and was like - uh, that is it? She did a wonderful job with the polish as well. Everything here was so good, clean, safe and wonderful. I MAY just have to volunteer to take my mother here every month as it is an hour away from me in Bradenton. read more

Today was my first experience here, the atmosphere is very nice and it was very clean. After finding this salon on google and seeing the amazing rating, I made an appointment and Angela was the one to do my nails. My nails were quite thin and short so I explained how I had recently removed a previous set. I asked for square nails and showed a picture of a similar shape and color I wanted. I was surprised when I was finished at how crooked and thick my nails were. The color was not even fully on the nail and I was so surprised because she seemed to have filed quite a lot. (which at times was very painful) I was also covered in product and it was caked under my nails. My nails were all different lengths. I ended up fixing them on my own at home and redoing them completely. Very unhappy with the way my nails turned out after paying $50! read more
