Nick took the time to listen, explain how much waterloss I was probably experiencing and even showed me where my water meter was and how to track leaks by looking at the numbers! Above and beyond there! Honestly, (to the business model) it was a bit more expensive than I had hoped, and I was kinda put-off by the repeated idea of getting a membership to receive discounts later on (kind of an insurance plan to use this company), but I am happy with the results and understand why they are trying to sell their plans. I will add that Nick was a very non-pressure guy when it came to the proscribed options and was very direct with what would work best for me. They are very lucky to have such an excellent employee.

His quote was fairly priced (another contractor had quoted me $2000 more for the same work), but what impressed me MOST before the job was that his communication was EXCELLENT -- fast and responsive. This is a rare thing, and for people who tend to be anxious, it's a necessity. He arranged for the power drop, installed the new panel and breakers, got the inspector out, and ordered the power restoration, and it all took less than eight hours. Another company had expected ME to arrange for the power drop/restoration and inspection! This job could not possibly have gone better. Kyle is courteous and pleasant, and unlike so many people in the trades, did NOT condescend or assume that this little old lady is an idiot (I'm not). He came back the next day with a helper to label the breakers in the new panel and that took only about a half hour. Kyle is terrific and so is his work. HIGHLY recommended for any electrical needs you may have.

That's not pretty either but better than the kink left in the copper pipe, titled unit and ridiculous amount of tape used. The filter drier wasn't even in the correct location. Please, save yourself the headache and money for repairs and RUN. You will regret any work done, not one aspect of the job was done correctly.

They came out today. The new service company showed me what Power Solutions had NOT done. The spark plug was old, not changed. The oil filter was not a Generac filter, necessary to fulfill my Generac warranty. The air filter was very dirty, had not been changed. The generator and interior housing were filthy, not cleaned. A tree unexpectedly took down my power line on a Saturday and pulled the entire power meter and pole off my house. Since it was a weekend my usual electrician wasn't available and he recommended Volt Doctors. Their 24 hr dispatcher immediately answered and they had an electrician on site within two hours on a Saturday evening. Erik, helped get my generator running and hooked up, and an hour after that I had an estimate and repair plan in hand. On Sunday and Monday Summer was in frequent contact with updates and by Monday afternoon the repair was complete and good as new! The job came in under the projected time and under budget, so they reduced the cost to the real hours worked. I can't speak highly enough about Volt Doctors, THIS is how you run a business!
