I am not happy with all when I made an appointment for moving stuff They told me gas is included , in the end they added 20$ for gas for plastic 20$ also hourly they charge 125$ ( they did extra charged which was unexpected) For 3:20 mins they asked me 659& I paid them 700$ We started 8:55 finished 12:15 afternoon also it was rainy day they told me we need to wait until rain stop( I didn't expect this ) It was going to be that much expensive Otherwise I would move by myself because I didn't have that much stuff. Pros: Cheaper than others I quoted from the area on Yelp. We had a lot of stuff and they kept a professional attitude about it (also more hours for them). Cheaper if you pay cash-- and they gave us the exact total when they were almost done, in case you need to go to the ATM. They go over a list of items that are not included in your hourly rate during the contract signing so you can decide if you want to pay extra or not. Cons: [Per A&R Mover's request, we have edited the following paragraph] -- Some of our furniture has been damaged. We paid $40 for cardboards to protect 2 TVs (which you do not keep and they reuse) + $17 to plastic wrap each mattress. Pre wrap your stuff. It was a loaded 2bed/2bath and we hired 2 movers-- The move started at 9am and finished at around 4:30pm-- with 2 x 15 mins breaks + the drive back (total of 8 hours charged). Overall: They were professional movers. Fred is very friendly. The second guy was super focused. If you have a heavy-duty cart/dolly and pre-wrap everything I strongly recommend these guys. read more

I read the reviews and believed them, now I trust them. Freddie, Gionni, and Angel helped me with my move from LA to OC. I AM GLAD I HIRED THEM. I underestimated the size of my moving needs but luckily they came prepared with a bigger truck and extra boxes. Freddie was very punctional in morning and his team moved fast. A&R Movers are amazing! We arrived in LA after 5:00 PM and after arriving, we had realized there was no way we were going to unload our truck before we had to leave the next morning. We called up Freddy around 6:00 PM and he had a small crew for us first thing the next morning. Freddy and his coworkers were amazing! I called about help with a local move from my townhouse in West Hollywood. Freddy was excellent over the phone. He provided a thorough estimate and also gave some very useful suggestions to prepare ahead of time. They showed up on time, packed up everything efficiently, and got the job done in a reasonable time! They were easy to work with, friendly, and very cooperative. They had packing supplies for an extra charge if needed, but their prices were very reasonable and they didn't make a big deal about every little item. Freddy and Joel did a GREAT job,starting with our first friendly conversation regarding what and where I was moving. Freddy and his team are so awesome. I've used them 3 times now. Professional, prompt and very experienced. As a woman, I am careful about who I hire and I felt so comfortable with them in my home. They were able to move a giant, glass front hutch with no issue and many other very fragile things. I had a problem in my new place and they were so helpful--- moving things around for me and adjusting their schedule to accommodate. I hired these movers to move 2 pieces of furniture a short distance. The mover, Freddie, was extremely rude and unprofessional. He yelled at us, and refused to go two blocks down the street to pick up the other item. We understood that this was the company's policy, but he could have at least been a little nicer about it without yelling at us. He had a bad attitude the whole time.
