Max & Alex are the best movers. They showed up exactly on time and brought any supplies that you may need. They took a lot of care with all my belongings and were super helpful packing up boxes. They took apart my king bed and reassembled it perfectly. They even fixed a loose bolt leaving the bed in better condition than when they arrived. Not a scratch or a ding on anything! I moved from a 3rd floor walk up and these guys were pros! They made a huge effort to package up everything and unpack it all to the correct rooms. Adept Moving hustles! The company was very easy to schedule with. There was an issue the day of my move, which was scheduled to be around 9am on a Saturday. I didn't receive any call and had to call them myself. They then told me that there was an issue with the truck, and they're going to fix it. They weren't able to give me an update on when they would come or how long. But they did say we'll give an update in 20 minutes. It took some time, but after constantly calling back and forth, they came at 10am ish. Due to the tardiness, they provided packaging of my furniture, like extra blankets and seran wrap for free. For a 1 bedroom, the total time to package my items (everything was already packed, it was packaging or wrapping furniture), move it to my new place that's 10 min away, and move it to the new place took 5 hours. This would've been a pricey move, but the team gave me an extreme discount for the inconvenience. I appreciate that. They hopped in to help with anything we were moving or packing even if we didn't ask them to, and they were friendly to our dogs and neighbors. We never saw them sitting idly (they worked a whole 10 hours, minus a half hour lunch break). They were very careful to make sure they were putting everything in the right place and they went out of the way to unpack as well. The movers themselves were okay -- they did their job normally. But the phone manager was a total scam: he quoted a low price upfront, completely misled me, then on-site there were different rates for cash vs card, endless extra charges for everything, and when I pushed back -- he started threatening that they wouldn't unload / would leave stuff on the street / there would be "problems". I genuinely felt unsafe and had to pay way more just to get my things delivered without drama. This isn't a moving company, it's a straight-up rip-off. Avoid at all costs! read more
