We originally wanted to ask two friends to help us move, but soon realized we were over 35 and not worth hurting ourselves over a couple of slices of pizza. We were able to schedule a Sunday morning appointment less than a week out, gave an hour time frame and they arrived within the hour. Victor and Alex did a walkthrough and were very clear about what needed to be moved. This was all done before starting the time. They were fast and efficient in wrapping and securing all our furniture. They also arrived to our new home quickly and unloaded and helped assemble some of the furniture we needed put back together. There was no time padding or dilly dallying on either Victor or Alex's part, and they were able to get everything done within 4 hours, including driving to the new home. I chose this moving company because they were highly recommended and appeared highly qualified. Unfortunately, my experience did not match their reputation. When the crew arrived, one mover (Brian) walked through my place and immediately said the job was "too big," then tried to upsell me on adding another mover for $40/hr before even starting. Once they began, they wasted time grabbing small items instead of focusing on the furniture, even after I asked them to prioritize the larger pieces. I was told they would disassemble and reassemble my furniture -- they didn't. I ended up doing it myself. The expected cost was $362 (109×3 + 35). They stayed until 6:15 PM, charged $371, and I still paid $400 cash just to get the job over with. To their credit, customer service did reach out to me personally by phone and email, and they issued a full refund for the inconvenience. I appreciated that. However, after the refund, they contacted me again and offered money to remove my review, which goes against Google's review policy regarding incentives for altering or deleting honest feedback. That part was extremely disappointing. Overall, the movers themselves were inefficient, didn't complete the tasks promised, and created more stress than relief. The refund was appreciated, but the attempt to pay me to remove my review was unacceptable. read more

I seriously cannot say enough good things about Adept Moving and especially this time, Aibek and Kazbek!! This was my second time with them and I had such a great experience my first time, I had to book again. This time, they being Aibek and Kazbek, helped me move from LA to Orange County and were absolutely amazing. I was super stressed out beforehand with moving again but they made the process so incredible I didn't have to worry about a thing. I had WAY more stuff than I thought I did lol, and they worked so hard the entire day. My move ended up being about 8.5 hours and these guys were still just as helpful and hardworking at the end of the day as they were when they first showed up that morning. They were so careful with all of my stuff, wrapped everything really well, and somehow managed to fit my entire life into the truck and then into my new apartment . Nothing was damaged and I never felt like they were rushing or being careless even though it was such a long day. More than anything, Aibek and Kazbek were just really nice guys. They were friendly, patient, professional, and made what could have been an incredibly stressful day so much easier. Adept Moving hustles! The company was very easy to schedule with. There was an issue the day of my move, which was scheduled to be around 9am on a Saturday. I didn't receive any call and had to call them myself. They then told me that there was an issue with the truck, and they're going to fix it. They weren't able to give me an update on when they would come or how long. But they did say we'll give an update in 20 minutes. It took some time, but after constantly calling back and forth, they came at 10am ish. Due to the tardiness, they provided packaging of my furniture, like extra blankets and seran wrap for free. For a 1 bedroom, the total time to package my items (everything was already packed, it was packaging or wrapping furniture), move it to my new place that's 10 min away, and move it to the new place took 5 hours. This would've been a pricey move, but the team gave me an extreme discount for the inconvenience. I appreciate that.
