The initial consultation was a positive experience -- the representative who came to measure the…read morecarpet and LVP areas was professional and thorough. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. The installation itself was riddled with problems. The crew did not complete the job on the scheduled day, and no one from RiteRug proactively informed us of this. We had to reach out ourselves to point out that an entire room had been left completely untouched. Trim work throughout the home was also left unfinished. Once the installation was "complete," the quality issues became apparent. Carpet in every room where it was installed began coming up within a single day. The LVP trim work was done so poorly that we ultimately had to scrap it entirely and have it redone. After reporting these issues, RiteRug scheduled a follow-up visit four days later to address everything. The crew only finished the LVP in the room they'd originally skipped -- none of the other outstanding issues were resolved. We then contacted our original point of contact, the same person who had measured our home initially. To his credit, he acknowledged directly that the job had been done "horribly." He offered $300 in compensation on a job that cost nearly $2,800. When we pushed back and asked for more, he escalated to his manager -- but in doing so, misrepresented the situation, telling his manager that only one small area had issues rather than the full scope of problems we'd documented. The entire resolution process dragged on for about a week, and we ultimately received a discount of roughly 37%. That amount was still less than half of what it actually cost us out of pocket to have the floors properly redone by another company. We hire flooring contractors regularly throughout the year for various projects, and RiteRug was by far the worst experience we've had -- not just in terms of installation quality, but in how the aftermath was handled. Between the incomplete work, the poor craftsmanship, and the lack of transparency in resolving it, we would not recommend RiteRug for any flooring project.

We went and ended up saving over $800 on our job. This showed a lot of integrity because we were willing to pay the invoice price. The install went really well. The installer did not have a tool to finish the job (we needed some of our doors shaved down) so Rusmur stepped up and sent someone to finish the job after 5pm to make sure it was done and we were satisfied. A 5 star job!

Poorly installed with every floor being uneven. A single bag of self-leveler would've solved that problem and they refused to use it. We had to completely redo ALL of those rooms. Ryne stopped responding to emails and phone calls and we had to use our bank to get a refund. Powder room = unven flooring and poorly installed. Master bathroom = uneven flooring and couldn't even close the door (they wanted us to shave down a brand new door to account for their poor install). Laundry room = Incorrectly installed an LVT in a room that needed ceramic tile to pass inspection. Kitchen = Uneven flooring AND the tiles weren't properly glued down and were popping up within a month. AVOID RUSMUR!

It wasn't going to be a big job, only about 56' of ornamental fencing and Penn Fencing scheduled our Estimator, Charlie to visit a few days after calling them in early March. We received the Estimate a few days later and the pricing was comparable to the other quotes we gathered. Penn Fencing came recommended to us by 3WS's Johnny Hartwell and we went with his advice and selected them for the work. It has only taken five (5) weeks for the materials to arrive and the install to be scheduled. Kevin and his two (2) man crew arrived promptly at 8:30am, to do the work and they were finished in about 90 minutes. No mess, no inconvenience, and they disposed of our old fencing for us. The fence looks great! I did have to go back and tighten a few screws, but it wasn't a big deal. We are very pleased with the job they did and would recommend them for your project.
