I was quoted a fair price that was consistent with my other 2 estimates. The estimate included hardwood floors in my family room, on my steps, and in the upstairs hallway. Also, they would put on baseboard and shoe molding, sand and seal the floors, and then apply 2 coats of oil based polyurethane. I was away on vacation when the men came to do the work. When I came home (late Saturday evening) I was appalled at the sloppy job that was done. I immediately called Dan and left him a text message. He came out Monday morning. He seemed pretty upset about the work that was done. He said he would come back and fix everything. The following problems needed to be fix: 1. the baseboard molding: none of the corners touched, some of the baseboard was cut to short and there was a broken piece. 2. The polyurethane coating: it was clumpy in some areas 3. The transition pieces: a number of them were cracked and they never put a transition piece between the hallway and my bathroom 4. Chips and gaps: a number of the floor boards were chipped and there were major gaps between some of the boards 5. The steps: These were a disaster. There were gaps between the steps and risers, many of the wood pieces were cut to short. They used a non matching orange wood putty to fill in mistakes and also used white caulk (which was not approved for use on wood floors). Dan and his son came out for 2 days to try and fix it. They fixed most of the molding, however one piece they cut was cracked in half and we had to glue it back together and the molding inside the upstairs closet still does not look right. They replaced 2 transition pieces and installed a transition piece between the bathroom and hallway. They fixed some of the gaps on the floors, but used a darker wood putty that did not match the color of my floor. The steps still had gaps and looked awful. My husband and I had to spend two days fixing the steps, putting putty in the gaps, staining the putty to match the floors, then applying two coats of oil based polyurethane on the steps and entire upstairs hallway. After our hard work they look ok, but are not perfect. The entire process was extremely stressful and very time consuming for my husband and myself. It cost us time, money, and a great deal of personal stress. All of this could have been avoided if we went with another company I would never recommend Danzco and suggest that you choose another company.

The third day they seemed to just not care anymore because they were 3 hours late, made more of a mess, didn't clean it up, and left the house without telling me. I still don't know if they are to come back. Overall, the finished product was OK but I've seen better. This is a fine example of how small businesses fail. From beginning to end, the customer should experience complete satisfaction in the work they paid for. This includes the professionalism of the workers, which is part of the finished product. I found that part lacking.

He did not ask for ladder he suddenly just jump and sit on top of washing machine glass top that shocked me it could be broken / pipes smashed ? What a heck ? After I put a ladder. When I called i specified at receptionist what's included in 120$ per hours she said everything?, but in practice they will bill you 60$ travel time. When i tried to talk to manager about price and brand difference for installed faucet she attacked me was very rude with inappropriate behavior to the customer. for 30 min real job time cost me - $556 for 2.5 hours 300! plus expensive faucet 256 $ - just for a simple installation kitchen faucet. Reasonable, isn't? Hell no. You can see in attached photo the real Delta product that was installed and MOEN Brush NICK brand in my bill - do not match in real life. Again why I need a faucet with a soap dispenser? to where should I put this Soap dispenser which soaked my money? Right now, I have this cheapest faucet, no promised warranty for this job / because woman manager screamed to me that I have never ever called again and never ever used this company for the future. A first time in the USA, I have a deal with a such rude, dishonest and cheating management and company. Your response to BBB request is more inappropriate than expected. I did not called you 10 times in 15 min - lie, and I have all recorded conversations with you where you attacked me and I just listened you and even could argue wiht you. The company used construction glue to glue the stones on top of concrete. They told me not to worry because they were giving me a lifetime warranty. The steps fall apart at least once a year. The company will not honor the warranty and will not come back to fix the the steps. Every time I contact the owner he tells me that his company is out of business and that he is in the hospital. But he still renews his MHIC license so the company must still be in business. I contacted the MHIC licensing office who told me that there were several complaints against this company.

An estimator came out to assess the floors and I explained my expectations regarding the color of the stain I would like for my floors. I was recommended to pay the additional $200 to receive water based sealant. The day the floors were sanded I called LB and stated that I had concerns with the color of the floors after the first coat was applied. The estimator came back to my house and assured me that once the sealant was put on the floors would look better. On a positive note, the sanding job removed a good bit of scratches, however, after the last sealant coat was applied there was some bubbling. I was expecting a rich brown color and unfortunately, the color of the floors look inconsistent and not at all like I was expecting. I was also very surprised that minwax stain color was used. After doing online research, minwax is primarily used for diy projects. Duraseal is what professional flooring companies use and after looking at the LB fb page I saw that they also use Duraseal on some of their projects. Duraseal is considered the standard by professional flooring companies and according to the research, it absorbs more deeply and eveny into the wood resulting in a richer color. The estimator Zach never in his estimate said that minwax would be used. LB contract stated that a high quality stain would be applied. Duraseal was never offered to me as an option. I called LB to let them know of my concerns. I received a voicemail from Zach saying that they have used minwax for many years with no problems. I left a voicemail with Zach to follow up with me and never received a call back.

The new appointment was for the next week. When the day came, NO SHOW. I called and the lady told me that their other estimator was in Florida and asked to reschedule again. I said no thank you. How can they not even get estimations scheduled right. It's your first impression with the customer. Also, if someone is dealing with a basement flooding issue, this is not the kind of response you'd want to deal with. Do not recommend.

Flooding immediately from the garage door. They refuse to fix it because Anne Arundel County installed the grate in front of the garage door, with a drain pipe leading to a sump pump just inside the garage. After 6 years of floods, I finally recognized the problem: Action had removed the drain pipe and replaced it with drain tile that cannot handle heavier rains, causing the grate to overflow and flood the garage. Action never documented their visits, so this summer I tried something different: I made an appointment saying I had additional work, not warranty work, done. When the inspector showed up, I let HIM identify the problem, pointing out the issue was the drain tile that replaced the County's pipe can't handle the load. The inspector then refused to honor the warranty--again--but offered to have an Action foreman and crew come out and "fix my problem" for $1,000 cash. Still nothing in writing. Wondering how "corporate" was implicated (was this unofficial policy--avoiding honoring Lifetime Guarantees, potentially saving tens of thousands in repeat work?, or would the owners be upset that its employees were performing unpermitted and unauthorized work for untaxed income?). I received a text with the name of the foreman coming on the weekend and waited. They arrived in company trucks and uniforms. I took pictures and told them to leave. I went to the police station and tried to file a complaint but they said to report it to the MHIC first. I did and, again, waited. Today, the MHIC rejected the complaint as being 3 years past the original work. Time to file that police complaint and hire an attorney. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We are so grateful that we decided to keep WWS on our list of recommended vendors. WWS is a family-owned and family-run service. They take great care of their customers. We have had normal routine service handled by them with the utmost care. We have had emergency, crazy work handled by them with care that goes beyond utmost. Recently our water stopped working. Damon & Aaron came out late on a Friday. I am sure they were looking forward to getting home. After about an hour at the house, they diagnosed the problem and found a temporary solution. We were crossing our fingers that it would be a fix. What is great, though, is they took their time to explain everything to us Friday night even though their homes were anxiously awaiting their return. The water worked Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Monday, late Monday, the water shut down again. We knew we needed to replace our electrical line from the house to the well pump. It is close to 600' of line. Our call was to Benfield Electric to do the work. We also called Well Water Services, left a message about the issue. Damon came out late Monday night to conduct a couple of tests on the panel to ensure it was the right decision. At the end, within 2 days we had Benfield fixing the issue and putting in a new line.
