I had high expectations after reading many of the reviews and even more so when I arrived to a fully staffed facility and no cars in line. I figured I'd have the luxury of a few guys spraying and attentively looking over my van. Boy was I wrong. I purchased the Silver package which included a tire shine and wheel wash and shine among other things. I generously tipped the crew after they towel dried and applied the tire shine but was really disappointed when I got home. Keep in mind it was a beautiful dry and sunny day so none of the dirt you see in the photos occurred on my drive from their lot to home. They earned the the second star only because I was greeted upon my arrival and the crew "seemed" professional otherwise it would have been a one star rating. 09/21/23 UPDATE: The management team from Magic Touch reached out to me in order to make things right. I returned to their other location that's a little closer since I live almost a half hour away from the original location. The manager was very attentive and passionate about making things right. The follow up and customer service was 100/100 so I definitely appreciated that. The van looked much better this time around. Many business get complacent or lazy when they're successful but the great ones rise to the occasion when things don't go right the first time and Magical Touch stepped up. Good car wash near Fairlane Mall. Customer service is excellent from start to finish. Candy was offered for Halloween while my vehicle was being towel dried. The Halloween decorations around the car wash are a nice touch too. Reasonably priced with different options including several under $10 and a monthly pass. This review is for the Allen Park location. While they do a good job with their car wash, however, when you have their monthly car wash membership and you cancel it... they continue to charge your credit card. This has happened to me twice now and now they can't even find my license plate number for the membership. When I call, they tell me to call my bank and cancel the transaction, as if I don't have better things to do. Again, they do a decent job at the car wash, it's just all the drama with the credit card charges. read more

The Taylor location does not perform full service auto washes, as advertised around the entire location. Could not leave to go to another wash because the guys began the wash while I was inquiring with an employee. The team that dries the vehicles used different levels of effort to complete the task as evident by one side being totally dry with wheels cleansed, while the other was wet and the tires were not as shiny. I requested a VIP wash and was met with inconsistencies all around. I was recommended to come to the Detroit location, which is out of the way and does not respond to calls. I don't always frequent this car wash as it's a little distant from my daily commutes but whenever I visit I have no regrets! The service here is truly impeccable. I always am greeted with friendly vibes and speedy service. It gets very busy here on days where the weather is great and throughout the summer but the staff does a great job of moving people. I recently had a detail and was really impressed with the level of detail they covered in the service. Unfortunately, the very same night I opened my trunk and saw that it was completely untouched. The facility is modern and clean. The vacuums work and the Full Service is exceptional. They said it's not a detailing, but I swear it's close to a detailing. I used to really like this car wash but I'm officially done coming here now. The last few times they've cleaning the inside of my car it isn't actually clean. There's still stuff in my seats and they don't clean the inside of the windows. Today I paid for a car wash for just the outside and my car is still dirty. They hand dry your car at the end and clearly the people hand drying my car knew it was still dirty, but just didn't say anything. They seem to just rush people through now. read more

I took my family and drove 30 minutes for the haunted car wash event that they had. When I went there everything seemed great until one of the workers stopped me and made his friend cut thru the line and put there car in front of mine. Keep in mind I was waiting for like 20 minutes for my turn. Anyways I let that slide and didn't care about it until all the actors gathered up around the friend car that was infront of mine and kept ignoring every other car and stayed with the friend forgetting they had a job to do. When we got inside the actual car wash they all started doing there job properly and when I looked it was cuz of the manger being around. I spent 20 dollars and drove 30 minutes and was waiting 20 minutes for the actors to mess around and let their friend cut and just ignore every other car and be fake infront of the manger. My office is not to far from this car wash and I use it a couple of times a month, It's the drive through style, you do not get out of you vehicle The basic wash starts off at $4 and the deluxe is $9. everyone gets a towel dry on the way out. The staff here knows what customer service is all about. My Suburban is normally pretty dirty, I work construction and drive into a lot of muddy sites. This day it was a steel mill and the dirt was caked on. I pulled up and asked for the basic and they said no problem we will get it for you. This is a great car wash, I bring both of my cars there and sometimes, within an hour of each other. The pricing is great, compared to where I've gone throughout the country, you get more bang for your buck. Possibly the best car wash in the Detroit area, but you're probably wondering why I only gave it 4 stars. I brought my car in to get it washed, and washed it was. One of the workers took the car to get it vacuumed and finish up the drying. I noticed that he hit the windshield wipers and did nothing to stop it... for at least 5 minutes. This left streaks on my windshield and obviously put wear on the wipers. When I asked him about it, he gave a heart hearted apology, and there is more. With my doors open, he lit up a cigarette and started smoking outside my car. He wasn't yet finished with the car and he just seemed like he didn't care. After I approached him about the wipers and then the cigarette, he took exception and gave me a nasty attitude. He told me I could talk to his boss and walked away. His boss saw this and came to apologize, which I felt wasn't warranted since he was not the one with such poor professionalism. I appreciated the kindness of the owner, but did not want, nor expect the unprofessional demeanor of the person drying off my car. I seriously contemplated taking my vehicles elsewhere had it not been for the owner and his kindness. I'd give it 4.75 stars due to that incident, but otherwise, a great car wash facility. read more

Went there on a Saturday for an exterior only. When I pulled into my driveway I immediately noticed approximately a 2 ft long scratch below the paint almost the length of the hood.
