I have been going to this place for 10+ years. My first ever visit I was not happy with my acrylic nails AT ALL. However, I gave the place another chance and ended up getting Lilly as my technician. I've been going to her ever since! She is incredibly sweet, professional, and always takes on any challenging designs I show her. I get compliments on my nails every time I get a refill. ASK FOR LILLY! You won't be disappointed. I also definitely reccomend making an appointment with any technician. The place is very popular and busy. So may have or may have not posted about this salon. It's been almost two years but because I'm in a rush I came here and it appears very clean. When you walk in and say hello or excuse me they do not acknowledge you nor do they even look at you. I said hello and no me out of the 7 staff workers looked my way. Everyone was busy with a customer. So I stood at the counter waiting for someone paid and still no one said anything. Someone came to pay and still she said nothing and I'm inclined to say they are racist. Because 4 Caucasian ladies walked in and they serviced them and greeted them immediately. When I stopped one lady and asked she looked at me and spoke to another customer. One lady after 20 minutes standing at the register. Asked could she help me. My friend & I called for a walk-in today. We asked them if they were busy & they said they weren't so we came in. When we got there, we had to wait for almost 40 minutes to be attended to, which we could've opted out of by going to another salon had they been honest about being busy. We waited until they were ready to start our pedicures & gel polish. The quality of their work was impeccable, but didn't overshadows the poor communication. Honestly, it seemed like they were bit restless because they wanted to be done for the day & it showed with their attitudes. I wrote a review about a month ago on here (blue nails) I had a wonderful experience. Yesterday I went to get my nails done for prom (red) and I'm thoroughly disappointed. My nails are SUPER thick even after I asked her to thin them out she said it would make them last longer. I figured they would thin out as she finished them up and they didn't. I got the coffin style and the corners are way to sharp to the point where I had an itch and actually cut myself. She put uneven coatings of nail polish on so the edges of my nails are sloppy. It's either a hit or miss every time I go here. Currently looking into new salons. read more

She took her time and made sure that I sincerely got my money's worth. I will definitely recommend this place, it's clean, it's inviting and the job is done right the first time. So I've been going to this place since i was 5 and I only go here for my nails and feet. I recently went for my gel polish change and there was a new girl in there. I normally stick to the people i like like Nicole, Mia, Leah, and Ana. I know they do good nails. Anyway i went to this new girl and my nails came out horrible. I like them with clean straight edges( square nails) and they were rounded. My nail polish is clumpy and she didn't even fully take off the gel polish off of my nails from before. I had to tell her several times to cover my full nail cause she kept forgetting about the sides of my nails. I learned my lesson and should have just stuck with someone that I know does good nails or just should have made an appointment. read more

I live in the area and only come to this salon if I can't make it to my favorite nail salon in Mount Laurel. This salon is a hit or miss honestly. Mia in my opinion is the best nail tech and always does a great job on my eyebrows. The other techs that I've had in the past seems to be just ok. If you can make an appointment with Mia then this place is a must, but if not there are better salons. read more

My 12 years old daughter and I went there to get our nails done. I told them what she was having done, because they separated us and at that time. While she was with her Jerk of a tech, the tech kept trying to up sell her. she kept telling her that her mother would be paying for it and to just go ahead and have her eyebrows done and to get better nails services. which made my daughter uncomfortable although she told her no. I came here with a friend because she's been with her for a while. I decided to give it a try. Upon entering I didn't feel welcomed at all. Very weird tension. The woman I had was pretty bland as well. I feel like maybe she didn't like me? I felt very rushed and even then I tipped her 20% at the end because I thought maybe she just had a bad day. She didn't thank me or even look at me. Just took my tip and looked away. For my toes, they look so sloppy. I am embarrassed to wear flip flops because I don't want anyone looking at my big toe. And for my top nails, I'm not sure what happened but it looks as though there were a bunch of air bubbles and she painted over them as they were drying. I have a bunch of little holes on several of my nails. Overall it just wasn't a good experience. Spent $60 in total with the tip and I just feel like it went down the drain. Definitely don't recommend this place. I did get gel as well and they don't look shiny at all. They look very dull. I shouldn't have spent the extra money for gel if I would have known they would have not kept their shine. read more

Called ahead. Was told I could be be taken immediately. Got in my car, drove to this destination. Somewhere within those two sentences of actions they had filled up so much I had a 20 minute wait. What in the heck. Just got a gel manicure, and the person doing the manicure for me changed not one but two times. At the end of it, I had no idea who to give the undeserved tip to! My nails came out sloppy and the sides were left completely unpolished. The only thing I liked about this messy, low-class looking salon was the amazing selection of gel polish colors. This is the most unprofessional place I ever been to. I got my nails done less than a week ago and I broke my thumb nail literally doing nothing so I was so confused. When I went back to let them know they try to say I didn't get my nails done here and I had to pay which I know for a fact i did. I'm currently sitting, drying my nails at this salon and I'm really taken back by the lack of customer service here. I chose my color and sat down immediately, I asked for a cut down later after she put acrylic on because she was so busy speaking in another language I couldn't get a word in to tell her I needed them cut down and when I did she said it would be an up charge I told her it was fine and she ignored me and put color on. As she's doing that I asked her if she could do a certain design with rhinestones and she said no. She said I had to have gel in order to have rhinestones. I reassured her that I always get them and it's never been an issue in the past. She said I can get gel and then she will do it, I declined. And I'm not happy about the trip to this nail salon. If your wondering why didn't get a tip, it's because of the crappy service you gave me, the fact that you said you were charging me $13 and you charged me $15 and told me that you had to charged an extra $1 to my card. This is a BUSY shop, so if you don't have an appointment, be prepared to wait. That said, they provide decent services including acrylic and gel nail enhancements, pedicures and waxing. Great selection of polish, colored acrylic powders and gels. It's not the most immaculate place in town (main shop could use a remodel) but the girls work to keep their areas clean and neat. Yes, there's some staff turnover, so occasionally, there's a newer person who is slower or less accurate. But by and large, there's a core group of women who have been working for Andy for years that keep me coming back. read more

A&T creative nails in the laurel plaza of Blackwood Clementon has terrible customer service. I came in trying to get my nails fixed from the day before. Somehow the acrylic on my nail fell off so I came back in to get it fixed. Minlin/Ming ling, was very rude to me about fixing my nail. Told me she was gonna charge me for one finger. She asked what my nail color was and when I told her she gave me attitude because she didn't want to look for it. Then when she finally found it she put the acrylic and paint on it in a rush and then told me after the gel dries I should wipe it off myself. I was appalled at how rude she was and asked her name but she refused to tell me so I had to ask another employee for her name so I could report her. If anyone goes don't go to her, she sits in the third seat in the old room and has a reddish tint to her hair. I'm sure she'll move where she's sitting once the store is finished with renovations but her name is given above. read more

I'm sad to rate this salon so low because I've been coming to this place for years and my favorite part about the salon is the owner, Andy. He's got most friendly customer service out of his staff. Today I was treated awful which is why I'm leaving my first yelp review. I walked in for a gel manicure with one person ahead of me. No one looked up to greet me or ask what I needed, which is what I was used to after years of using this salon. Waited about 15 minutes until the girl before me was taken back, then waited another 15 minutes to notice Tebi finishing up with her client. She was the closest table to me- her client got up and, paid and left, so her table was empty. I was hoping she would call me over next considering there was nobody else waiting EXCEPT for me... But she decided to do her own nails until someone walked through the door 10 minutes later. She said hi can I help you? Come sit down. I walked out and will not return. Unbelievable. I can't believe the business still stands will the lack of customer service. I'll never go back. Not to mention I've wasted good tips for bad quality manicures (not painting the edges of the nails, sloppy paint jobs, and even being cut a few times).
