I came here on 8/15/2024. When I was waiting in to get my nails done, there was a couple who came in to get their toes done and out of no where got really upset and stormed out while cursing. They claimed that the lady who was doing their nails did not change their gloves after checking someone out, but I was sitting right by the front desk and could tell you this was NOT true. This was a blatant lie to cause a scene. I have been coming here for years and recently I have been coming every 2 weeks for a rebase. I love my nails every time. A & T nails has been one of the cleanest, friendliest, and most efficient nail salons I have ever been too. I 10/10 recommend coming here for your nails. read more

Dirty and unsanitary. Went in for pedicures with my boyfriend to do some remediation on our crusty, dusty climber feet. We had to request equipment from a sterile bag to be used, rather than loose equipment fished from the bottom of a basket. The tech working on me removed the existing polish off one of my feet, before walking away to check out other customers. She refused to change her gloves after handling credit cards, the appointment book, and miscellaneous tchotchkes at the front desk. We walked out. If they do that in front of clients, what are they doing behind closed doors? read more

After going to this salon a few times now, I need to change my review. I've now twice had a nail tech drill all the way through my nail and into the skin below with their electric nail files when removing the previous dip manicure. Then had another tech file part of my skin off until it bled with a hand held nail file (that takes a LOT of filing..) I've left this place bleeding on 3 separate occasions. Mary does a PERFECT job on my dip powder nails every time! They literally last me over 3 weeks! I drive over 20 minutes just to see her when there's nail salons on every corner. Worth it! I originally went to this nail salon for a mani/pedi because it was nearby my house. I was happy to see that it was a really clean nail salon, nice atmosphere, and the people that work here are all kind. My first visit here was 2 years ago and is the only nail salon I go to in the 2 years I've lived in Colorado. On Saturdays it gets busy so it is best to make an appointment, but the longest I've ever waited was maybe 15 minutes. They are also awesome on providing results similar to a picture you show them. Absolutely love this nail spa--left my precious one that I've been going to since it opened bcuz they rushed through their pedicures and manicures. Here, you will get a great pedi, starting with the basic which last about 25-30 mins and each level up adds more luxurious treatment. I'm from Los Angeles, so maybe I have higher standards than this small town nail salon, but I went in for a manicure with gel, and then she up sold me with dipping powder. The thing is, she went forward with the dip powder without cutting or pushing back my cuticles, and when I asked she said it was extra! So now I have colored nails with crappy cuticles. What is the point of that? On top of that she goofed on the top coat and had to re do it three times, and the color is faded white in portions of the nails. I cant believe this crap cost $45. I ended up paying without tipping. And I told her that she needs to be honest next time and do better - but she didn't seem to care. I've only had pedicures done here, I usually stick with the basic pedicure. Some of the nail techs will try to upsell which can be annoying. But overall, they do an amazing job! Tons of colors to choose from. I've even brought in my own color to have painted. The owner has also painted flowers on my toes for summer trips. So cute! The prices are hard to beat! They are very welcoming and they even made space for two of us who had mistakenly made reservations at a different nail spa. We were just confused and A&T accommodated us anyway. I'm only giving them 2 stars because the atmosphere is very nice and the place is clean but..... my tech not only rushed me through my pedicure but was also very rough. Any other nail salon I've been to, they ask about ingrown toe nails before digging away. Needless to say, unpleasant. When she was filing my nails, I literally thought she was filing my skin. And although I'm embarrassed to say that I am famous for needing my heels "cheese grated" or the little drill tool, she did not use either as you see by my picture. And to top it off, I asked her why she wasn't doing that and she said my heels were fine. Um... no they are not. If I said my pedicure lasted 20 minutes, I would be lying. I came here with my mom to get my nails done after the holidays. She usually gets dips and this is her favorite place. She raves about this place. I opted for a regular manicure and added paraffin wax. The lady doing my nails cute my cuticle and didn't do a great job taking all the wax off my hands. I got no massage and was not super happy having to wash my hands right after to get the wax off. I'm not sure I'll go back, but I do always try to give businesses at least two tries. Tried this salon today. Very impressed. Had dipping nails by LuAnna and wonderful pedicure by Julie. She was great working around an injured big toe nail. The dipping nails are $10 more than I've paid at other salon but I think $45 is the going rate in Arvada. read more

I've been going to this establishment for several years. But no more. Once again, after coming home from getting a mani/pedi, I had to finish the pedicure myself. (I have always gotten a "deluxe" pedicure and now apparently cracked and rough heels are A&T's new finish.) I also, once again, ended up with a dip manicure I didn't want. I was repeatedly told I couldn't have a basic French style manicure because it wouldn't look right. What?!! Although, the finished product looked nice, it was not what I wanted. I came here today for the first time in hopes of getting a dip powder manicure with a flower design and a pedicure. I showed the technician photo of the design and she said that she could do it but that was not the case. I ended up getting the worst manicure of my life. The polish was ridiculously thick and the shaping was terrible but it seemed like the tech was in a rush and couldn't be bothered to fix it. I would've let the disappointment of how the dip powder looked slide until it got to the design. The tech used plain acrylic paint from the art store and by the time she was done, the nails looked nothing like the reference picture, but instead looked like random dots. Unfortunately I could barely even communicate this to the tech because she did not speak English and we needed to have another tech translate the whole time. Even my pedicure, which was just one plain color with regular nail polish, was smudged and uneven. To top off this incredibly disappointing experience, I was charged $85 not including tip for this service that even the tech knew was bad. It was so terrible that I went directly after this appointment to a different salon to get my nails redone immediately as the thickness of the polish was so uncomfortable that I couldn't even go about my day. I was even more discouraged after seeing my friend's nails (who came with me to the appointment and sat in the chair next to me), which looked amazing. If you decide to come here, just know that it's a gamble. I personally will not be taking another risk. read more

I have been getting my nails done here for the past ten years and have never had any issues. I didn't get them done for around the past 2 years and decided to treat myself and my daughter to a girls day. I showed the nail tech the picture I found on Pinterest and she said it was no problem. I then asked for them to give my daughter a cute manicure (she's 10) with some strong gel polish or basically anything that would help her nails grow long and strong. I paid the $90 cost and they sat me down right away and my daughter sat next to me waiting patiently. Every time I told the nail tech I didn't like something she seemed to get upset. I was very patient and kind when trying to address what I didn't like. The tech kept scolding me saying I wasn't clear with what I wanted. I also tried to make conversation and ask about her day. She didn't seem interested and instead spoke to the other nail techs in another language. This made me feel as though i was being made fun of or mocked and i wasn't sure if she was upset with my speaking out about my dissatisfaction with her service. During this they started working on my daughters nails but stopped halfway through to work with another client. We had called ahead and set an appointment and were on time to make sure we wouldn't have to wait. I was extremely confused by this. By the time the she was done with my nails, another tech was close to finished with my daughter's. They had given her acrylic extensions saying that she refused to do her nails otherwise and then did not give her the colors we asked for either. I finally told her just leave her nails the way they are and she said okay and kept painting the color we didn't want. I felt like we were rushed and they were generally annoyed with us. They did not listen to what we wanted and scolded us when we kindly tried to correct them. On top of all this, the nails looked very unprofessional; bubbled in areas, chipped around the cuticle, and the nails were ridiculously thick and unnatural looking. I had never had such a bad experience before or treated so badly as a customer in general. I am extremely upset I wasted $90 and my daughter's first experience at a nail salon. I had to go the next morning and spend another $100 to get everything fixed. I will not be returning to A&T nails ever again and will strongly recommend against their business. read more

Four weeks ago, I went in for a manicure because my nails were so very abused and neglected. I didn't want shellac or acrylics because they're so hard on my natural nails. Teresa told me about the powder (dipped) technique. She said they wear longer and the powder is infused with protein and vitamins and is actually good for your nails. I was skeptical, but gave it a try anyway. They wore so well and 4 weeks later still looked good! I wanted a color change and when Teresa was working in them, I realized my natural nails were actually healthier from this treatment! Needless to say, I would HIGHLY recommend Teresa and the powder technique!!! read more

Loved this salon 2/3 times I've gone. Easy to get an appointment, the owner is super friendly and polite, and nails looked great, until today. Also, I have never seen any piece of equipment taken out of a sterile bag, and the tools are dirty! Nail tech (Wendy) made my dip manicure so thick. I asked her to fix it and she gestured to her glasses and asked me if I was blind! Excuse me? So rude! She did attempt to fix them but they are still thicker than I would like. I had a bad experience at A & T Nails this morning. I have gone there for years and have sent 6 friends there at my recommendation. I had a $50 gift certificate that had expired June 23 (12 days ago). They would only give me 50% value of it. I reminded them that they were closed for weeks and it would be nice to have the expiration date extended. Also, my daughter and her husband went on Thursday for pedicures and they let her use 100% of the value of her gift certificate that had expired in May!
