This is a great nail salon. I've been getting my nails done at A & T for several years. They always get me right in and do a great job.

To start off made an appointment ahead of time but still had to wait another 20 mins. But they do give good pedicures... im not sure the name of who i had, i just remember she has pink hair. But she didnt care to start a conversation at all even when i tried, everyone else there was so nice. Now for all you girls who like fake nails: The biggest issue with this place was the same manicurist said she could do the pink & white ombre so i was very excited! as for the results.. the pink & white are NOT blended at all, in the picture you can see clearly. shape was alright but she didnt even TOUCH my cuticles before starting the dip powder & not even a mini massage.. and to top it all off there was a red dot in the white part of my thumb so i asked her to take it off, she barely tried the first time & i had to ask again.. i then asked her if she could put more white powder on it bc she drilled off the white too! and she just looked at me confused and at that point i GAVE UP because she was rushing and didnt seem to care. I hope none of you ever get her bc my nails look like it was her first time even doing pink & white ombre.... everyone else was very nice tho. read more

I had a horrible experience my first visit almost a year ago so I was willing to give them a second chance. The second time was even worse...I had been waiting for a pedicure and another girl walked in and they sat her right away! When I finally got sat in the pedicure chair, I look in my water... DEAD FLIES/ NATS FLOATING IN MY PEDICURE WATER. Then when I asked the guy to cut the nails shorter, he said "no, they don't need it" (and yes, they did). At this point, I just wanted to leave because the lack of service, cleanliness and care. When it came to my massage, he was so abrasive and hard on my legs, I was bruised. Paying almost $50 for the disturbing, disgusting service... Just appalling . read more

It's really busy around lunch time but anytime after 1:30p it's pretty dead in there. I went for a regular pedicure and manicure. The guy that helped me seemed new, but he was pretty attentive and made sure my french toes were just the width I wanted. They were all pretty friendly. He cleaned up my toes and cuticles pretty well, I'm pleased with the results so I'll definitely be back. read more

I have been here three times. Every time I have seen Bee. The first two times were good. But this last time, she tried justifying charging me more than the other times even though what I got I was the same. In addition to that, she tore up my cuticles using an electric file on 4 fingers. It's been 24 hours and they're still super painful. Wont go back. read more

I've been a regular for quite a while and usually drop in after I get off work. I normally show up close to 6, and am usually welcomed by Tony and seated almost immediately even though they close at 7. I showed up at 5:20 last night and was told they weren't accepting any more clients for the evening. Tony was not there which is why I think I was turned away. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but the woman who turned me away was not very nice. I made my way to Westwoods and was seated immediately. I called for an appointment told me to come at 3. So I go at 3 and wait into 3:45. Another customer came in that was supposed to have come in at an earlier time but she came in late so she asked me to come back. I'm done with them it's too many nail techs to be putting up with poor customer service as this. If I call for an appointment and you schedule it I expect it to be honored and not dismissed for a walk in client that you have had fo awhile just because they neglected their earlier appointed scheduled time. I had been a client of theirs for almost a year but I won't be recommending them to anyone else nor returning for such poor customer service. read more

Okay nail salon, they were very nice and it was very clean inside. Only writing a review because I had paid extra for a design but it was very rough looking and I had to go to a different salon and pay to have them fix it. The gel also began chipping after about 2 days! It's usually lasts me about 2 weeks before it chips. Overall I wouldn't recommend this salon based on my own experience but I know everyone has different experiences! read more

Today I went here for the first time just to try them out. Normally I just do my own nails but wanted a treat. I just got a simple manicure and it turned out great. It was only $15 for a regular manicure. They have a great selection of colors, which is beautifully displayed. I always keep my nails short for playing the violin, and for once the technician didn't bother me about keeping my nails so short. When I asked him to file them down more he did and made sure I liked it. I'll be sure to come back. read more

Favorite nail salon I have been to. I went on a chance looking for a new salon and I got an amazing set of dip powder nails. Favorite set I have gotten, perfect length, color, thickness, everything. I always call and make an appointment before, but one day I was just running late and walked in a got a new nail tech and she seemed nice but as my appointment went on it got worse my nail tips were cut a little crooked and it showed and they weren't cute. A couple other things I experienced that were off: every time I moved the tiniest bit she would yell at me, she drilled and filled my nails a lot and really rough, my top coat was extremely bumpy. I figured the nail tech was just having a bad day and I put it past me. I have been back several times since and always go to hanie, I really like her and she does my nails really well, I definitely recommend. read more

I tried this place in lieu of my current salon because we moved and it's closer to my new house than the other one is. I absolutely loved it. The pedicure chairs are extremely comfortable. I was so excited about this new salon, but have to say worst nail experience in many many years. I have been getting acrylic nails in one form or another for the better part of the last 25 years; straight acrylic, pink and white, solar nails, I've done them all. I had seen a couple new reviews from people on North Wood acres raving about the service the nail tech I have used for years moved 50 miles away. I called three days in advance and made an appointment for Wednesday night when I showed up Tony the "T of A&T" nails was available. He was nice enough friendly and conversive but did not listen to a single one of my requests. I have naturally very flat nails and I wanted them rounded I had mentioned that the last set of nails that I had just removed where the thickest I'd ever had coming in at almost a quarter of an inch, well it seems he took that as a personal challenged to make the thinnest nails I have ever had, and they had zero of the shape I had asked for. When I told him these were very thin nails his comment was "They look more natural this way" By Sunday morning I had to return I had FOUR broken tips . Had Tony at any point during the Sunday appointment said he was sorry I might've given them another try instead he was rude &did not say another word besides sit down and then was angry when I asked him to beef up the other six nails that weren't already broken. A broken tip is a rare occurrence for me, I will occasionally pull one all the way off with a particular activity but not just a broken tip. It is now two weeks from my last "fix" I have two nails that are completely gone two more that are broken this was not an inexpensive set of nails, $50, 2 trips 1.45 minutes & now I have to go somewhere else & start again. "A" smiled sweetly & Sid nothing & also said nothing to indicate they were sorry. I also had a pedicure at the same until visit, it was fine, not spectacular but T did not add any top coat, said it would be too thick to dry. I enjoy this nail salon. I've visited 3 times for pedicures/polish changes and their work is good. Not perfection but I'll take it! Good color selection, seems very clean and the staff is nice. They sometimes offer a mimosa or a glass of wine. Their basic pedi is more than I need and is $25 which is a great deal. I would say the quality is on par with the cost. I've never waited, always taken right to the chair. read more

I have never written a negative review but feel compelled to given my negative experience . I booked myself and 5 others for pedicures. It was clear my Nail tech was in a rush as no work was done on my cuticles and My polish chipped the first day. When I went in and respectfully shared my dissatisfaction they argued with me. Just moved here, wasn't sure where to go for my nails and went here based on reviews. Bea did a nice job on my pedicure, as well as a really nice job on the powder dip nails. She had to grind off what was left of my old UV gel nails, and didn't charge me any extra for all that work. When they first changed ownership or regrouped I enjoyed having my nails done here. They spent a lot of time and the Shellac lasted. As time went on the quality of their services drastically declined. The last time I went in the person literally scraped my own nails off as they did not let the acetone work and soaked my nails for no longer than 30 seconds in cold water before doing the manicure. Pedicure treatment was really dependent on who did them and also declined in time. read more

I found this salon on yelp and since it was close to home I decided to try it.It is a very nice space, well decorated and not too crowded. I enjoyed having Amy as my technician and I was more than pleased. My pedicure looks wonderful and the massage chairs are fantastic. She even fixed the polish on a fingernail for me that I had done somewhere else on Sat. It already chipped. I will be going to this salon for all my nail polishes from now on. This is hands down without a doubt the best nail salon in the state.... I have bounced around to handfuls of salons for a year until my mom made me go to this gem. Lucky for me I live down the street. The color powder is amazing and most salons don't offer it my nails never chip or break. First time there. Got the deluxe pedi. Guess they didnt get all the hot wax off the toes. Polish was still mushy, sliding off and marked up an hour later. Waste of 52.00. Next time i will just polish my own toes. read more

Went in for a mani, pedi, and eyebrow waxing. Called on Saturday and they said it was a 10 minute wait and I could reserve a position. I showed up, got a great eyebrow waxing and shaping, then pedi and mani. Service was excellent, polish color choices were extensive, and cuticle clean-up (my main concern) was painless. So happy I decided to try this out. In addition, eyebrow waxing was $10, basic pedicure was $25, and basic manicure is $15. I had a coupon from val-pak that took $5 off the mani pedi combi, but it is still extremely reasonable. Very happy with the service, pricing, and the place is beautiful. The refreshment - a mimosa or bottled water - was a nice bonus! read more

Went with two other people yesterday for pedicures. The non shellac pedicures were ok, but the shellac pedicure was a disaster. The shellac was all over toes as well as nails. Not much of a massage compared to the others in our party. With in hours, the shellac was peeling off and it looked like it was done by a young child. Then they up charged her using terminology we were not familiar with. Went back this morning, they redid hers but no I'm sorry or concern. We were hoping to find a good place for mani/pedis, but this is not it. They want your business, but if there is a problem they will reluctantly fix it however, they do not seem to care if they get repeat business or not. I know they will not get ours! A little customer service would have gone along way! read more

No indication of proper procedures for cleaning and disinfecting nail tools; instead tools are used on one client after another after another; dirty towels used; no use of fresh cotton pads. No indication the techs are licensed and do not appear to be properly trained---nor do they care--they'll get your money anyway--they don't depend on repeat business. Nail techs blow thru shellacs scraping nailbeds instead of properly soaking in acetone, improperly filing the raw nailbed with a filer instead of using other proper methods (one even tried to use a powered-rotary tool until asked if that was permissible per state guidelines), soaking nails in cold water for 30 seconds to work on cuticles which work is insufficient to clean up cuticles, sloppy application of shellac where the entire nail is not covered properly; insufficient drying time under lights in-between shellac coats. Positive revews on Yelp are one-timers. Everything is good the first time. Try a second and a third time and you'll see the real issues mentioned here and in other negative reviews. read more

My first shellac manicure here was amazing and lasted over 3 weeks. The second one was horrible. Amy did both and she is a very sweet lady. The second one was sloppy with polish that pooled and looked thick on either side of the nail and looked bad. As she was doing the manicure I pointed out things on a few nails that looked bad which she filed, didn't remove the dust and painted over. Once I got outside in the daylight 2 nails looked horrible so I went back in asking for them to be fixed. Tony rushed me to a spot and sloppily filed the top coat, repainted and put under the light. I felt like I was a bother and he seemed annoyed. The 2 nails looked terrible and were darker than the rest. The first manicure was on a Monday mid morning when the salon was empty. The second was a busy Friday afternoon and she was constantly distracted looking up and more focused on customers coming in the door. I will never be back and would not recommend them to anyone. I have since found an amazing new place to go. read more
