Had a great experience with A&T after calling them out to check for a main line leak. Full disclosure I've used them a couple times over the years and this experience is why I'll keep coming back. I was convinced I had a larger problem with a broken pipe under my pier and beam house so they sent out a two man crew to check it out. Turns out I do need some older cast iron replacement at some point but for now there were no major problems detected. To me that kind of honesty is invaluable and they even gave some free advice on DIY ways to keep the lines clear until I'm ready for the larger replacement. Can't recommend them enough. I have used A&T for multiple plumbing issues and they've always been amazing. They have always been prompt and professional and pricing has always been fair. I had an issue with my water heater a while back and I had several other plumbers recommend a new water heater when it was only a few years old. A&T came out and realized the mixing cartridge in the shower just needed to be replaced and the issue was resolved with a simple fix. My bath faucet broke and I couldn't turn my water off. This company (specifically, Christopher and an assistant) was able to come out sooner than any other company I contacted and get the issue resolved (they installed a new faucet cartridge). Now, the faucet is like new. After the repair, my sink faucet started having a low flow issue, and I contacted A&T and they walked me through how to fix the issue myself over text message, which I really appreciated. I did have to have them come back out the next day to make the water able to be set to a hotter temperature, but they did it for free and it wasn't their fault either as I had already taken off the handle myself, which "lost" my previous setting, so they just set it back to the middle. If that makes sense. Point is, they came out and fixed another small issue that wasn't their fault and they didn't charge me for it. This company is awesome. I highly recommend going with them! Update: I did notice a crack or scratch in my faucet face plate or whatever you call it that I don't think was there before, so it might have been damaged by the installer from this company, and they didn't tell me about it (if they even realized they did it), but I guess no one's perfect. Pierre was so helpful this week! Thank you! After much hassle with a gas range installation from a big box store, the installation fell through due to what appeared to be a corroded valve. I quickly contacted A&T Service Plumbing and explained the issue to Pierre, who requested a valve photo. From the image alone, he quickly determined there was no corrosion or damage; someone had just gotten overzealous with the line tape. Pierre told me he would be in the area that same day and would attach the line himself! At work and neighbor calls to let me know I have water coming up from my front yard and it's running into the street. Neighbor turns off main for me and I start calling plumbers while at work. I call 2 places and they're booked for weeks. I call A&T, but I get a answering service. I then call their emergency number provided. Gentleman that answers is able to get a tech over as soon as he's done with his current job. Couple hours later I get a call from the tech. He's at my house and we discuss the fees and I give him the go-ahead. After a few minutes he's located the leak...cracked main pipe that my oak tree's roots have snapped. I get a pic texted to me of the damage and an estimate of time. Tech gets to work and shortly there after I get another text of a fixed pipe. He then fills the hole and cleans up as best as possible. I get a call with the total and I pay over the phone with my credit card. I couldn't have asked for a better process while being stuck at work. What a stand-up business. We don't normally use A&T, but our regular plumbers were booked through the week and they recommended we give them a call to help with our water heater's pilot light. The owner was super responsive, and we had an appointment for the following afternoon within the hour. Then came the actual appointment. Both my wife and I had attempted to relight our the pilot light in our water heater a few days earlier, and it just wasn't happening. But within 5 minutes of working on it Noel and Chow (I didn't get the spelling, sorry guys!) had it going again. Now, we are not the most handy people, but my wife and I have both relit our pilot light before, so this was definitely one of those "are you serious?" moments. Noel explained that sometimes that kind of thing happened. A pilot light might not want to light at first, but if you try a few hours later - or the next day - it might. Lesson learned: make several spread out attempts before calling in the pros. Then, without me even asking, Noel offered to call the owner and explain the situation. We weren't expecting much - after all, we'd had them come out and someone had to pay for their time - but less than 5 minutes later - no charge! On Friday night it appeared I had a pipe break. I called Pierre' at A & T Plumbing, and he was taking calls after hours. He came out Saturday morning with his tech and discovered that my pipe hadn't broken. What a relief!!! His tech drove all the way over here on a Saturday morning and he was extremely friendly, willing to get to work. When it was determined that there wasn't any work to be done, Pierre' sent him on his way. In addition, which is extremely rare, I was not charged anything. Their prices weren't the cheapest or the most expensive, but right there in the middle. But I liked the transparent pricing, availability, and good product (it had good reviews). Others were way overpriced or had no problem recommending another unreliable product. They came by as scheduled, replaced the water heater quickly and professionally.
