I had a leak that I thought was a result of the freeze that we are going through in Hutto. I called a couple of places (still waiting for call backs), while waiting I called Plumb and Order. The gentlemen I spoke to took all my information and said that he would have someone out this morning. I asked, like within the next 3-4 hours? He said, no, he'll be there within the hour. I had the extreme misfortune of hiring this company. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! I can't say if they did their plumbing job right, because I can't see under my house, and I am not a plumber, but I seriously doubt it based on how badly they do literally everything else after you sign on the dotted line. What I can say with absolute certainty is that they were unethical, abusive, dishonest, and disrespectful to both my property and me. I paid them 10,000 for a job, and I trusted that they would do a good job, because my home maintenance company recommended them. Boy, was I wrong! They had to dig a hole in my garden, which was part of the job, but they did so by causing absolute devastation to a much larger area around it. When I expressed concern about my plants, they assured me that they were saving them and setting them aside. But they did not do that. Instead, while they could have put the excavated soil a few feet to one side, where there were no plants, they put it on top of plants, all but one of which are gone now. There assured me that they would replant the plants, but they did not. They apparently threw away all of the plants, except a couple, which were either broken or half-ass replanted. The only replanted one still had all of its roots exposed, so it probably will not survive, and it was stuck into the hole where another plant had been. You can even see the hole where it used to be, now empty. They then told me that there had been no plants there. They lied straight to my face. An "I'm sorry" would have helped, but they just lied instead. I take a lot of pride and joy in my garden, but I would probably have been okay if they had expressed even a scintilla of remorse or sympathy, but no...they were abusive and dismissive and LIED TO MY FACE instead. I was outside assessing the damage after they left, and a neighbor actually came over to express their sympathy, because, as she said, they know how much time and energy I spend on my garden. Now, understand that I am not saying that you should care about my garden, but you should always care when a company is abusive and unprofessional and wantonly destructive, which Plumb and Order absolutely is. Use literally any other company. These people are truly dreadful and do not deserve your business. Edited: You are gaslighting and continuing to lie AND posting about a private medical condition. It's not "a couple of plants," and they did not even make the slightest effort to preserve or save ANYTHING. You come on here like you're some good guy, when you are totally the opposite of that. We had a water leak in the front yard. Tony came out, evaluated the situation, said we were losing 18 gallons per hour, turned off the water at the meter, turned off the water softener trying to locate the leak, then suggested it may be cheaper for us to call a company who had sonar equipment & could locate the leak faster than he could & he could come back & fix the leak in order to save us money. We followed his advice & called a company that said they had sonar equipment & a camera & could do the work that day. I asked about the cost & was told $344 for the first hour & $200 for each additional hour. When they arrived there was no sonar or camera. It took an hour to find the leak & by this time it was Friday afternoon so I asked about how much would repairing a leak like that cost. The plumber said, "normally around $970." I assumed that meant it would be about a 4 hour job & I didn't want to wait until Monday so, we said for him to go ahead. He didn't have the PVC to repair the leak on his truck...what plumber doesn't carry PVC pipe on their truck??? So, he had to go back to the shop. He returned 40 minutes later (shop was just a couple miles from us) & it took less than 1 hour to repair the leak & repair a pipe he broke in the sprinkler system while digging to find the leak. The final bill was $970. I asked why since the total time to find & repair the leak was less than 2 hours & he said what I had been quoted was the cost of diagnostics, not for any repair. That was the first I heard about that so, I called the office & when I explained what happened the man who answered asked, "did Billy use any tools?" I replied, "yes, 2 shovels" & he said, "we also charge for tools"! I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry! No telling what the cost would have been had they brought their sonar equipment! I have shared this with 54 homeowners in our neighborhood & will share the company who doesn't communicate their pricing accurately & Tony's honesty with everyone I know in Austin & from now on, Plumb & Order is who we will call for our plumbing needs. read more

Plumb & Order to the rescue again. I highly recommend this company. My shower would not turn off and all I could see was dollar signs spilling out in the form of water; not to mention the waste. I called Plumb & Order and they had Matt out to my place within the hour. Matt was on the case quickly, shut off the water, fixed the issues, and now BOTH of my shower heads are functioning smoothly and BETTER than when the builder installed them. Matt was a trooper with all the water pouring out and doing the work in his socks and each time he had to go out to get a part or to his truck, or to turn the outside water on/off, he put on booties to protect my nailed down hardwood floors. He also fixed my toilet knob and educated me on the signs to look out for to know when a toilet needs to be replaced. I needed the education and appreciated it so much. I assumed they were local but came from far north Austin or Round Rock Texas. There are good plumbers in my area. Also they told me the City of Austin would reimbuse me for the $500 expense. That was not true. They also might have taken a different approach by looking in my outside drain access first and then having me contact the city for a free repair. They worked hard but took the long way around to getting me functioning temporarily until the City of Austin came out to fix the problem near the street. This is my second time that I called Plumb & Order for a service call. The first service call was for a pilot light issue on my propane water heater. Tony arrived on time, diagnosed and repaired the thermo-coupler. Tony was very knowledgeable and professional. The second service call was when I started hearing a loud groaning/foghorn noise when I turned on the cold water faucet. I requested Tony for the service call. Tony and Ryan arrived on time and they worked together and determined that the issue was the with the Hot Water Recirculating pump. They repaired the issue and the noise is gone. I called Plumb and Order to have them come out and flush my girlfriend's water heater since she had no idea when it was last done, if ever. She believes she had it replaced around 9 years ago. They arrived and then told me they would not service our water heater since it was too old, and only thing they'd be willing to do is replace it for over $2,500. They charged me $95 to come out and tell me they would not perform the service I requested. Guys, I could have given you the model number over the phone and saved us both the time. To top it all off, they turned down the temp on the water heater, so I had to go back up there and put it back like it was before they came. At least you could leave the settings like you found them. I called Plumb and Order to assist with replacement of the bathroom hardware in my guest bathroom! I had a sudden crisis popup right before the appointment where I needed some assistance in redoing the plumbing in my kitchen. They were able to accomodate addressing that in the same appointment as the bathroom hardware. During the replacement of the bathroom hardware we discovered a leak in the valve which turned into having to cut open the wall to replace the valve which resulted in me having to get the shower tile totally replaced (at no fault of Plumb and Order - builder grade plumbing quality isn't the greatest. After the tile had been replaced I was having issues with reinstalling the hardware flush to the bathroom. I reached out to Plumb and Order and they made it right and I am happy with the final outcome of the bathroom. I wouldn't hesitate to call Plumb and Order in the future! Our drain line broke and washing machine water was backing up through the floor seal on a nearby toilet and flooding the kitchen and living room. It was late in the day but Plumb and Order got someone out right away. They got the water turned off and snaked the drain. They unclogged the drain and saw that the pipe was broken. They made an appointment to come back later that week to dig up the drain line and repair it. They did great work and were all very nice! Even though I didn't end up having a repair done by Plumb & Order, I must praise them on their stellar customer service! There was a water pressure issue in my house (i.e., it was the water pressure relief valve). I called Plumb & Order and was able to get an exact estimate over the phone, unlike a few other companies I had called. The estimate was about half the cost a different company had given me. The agent I spoke with was very kind and knowledgeable. I forgot to cancel the appointment and called about 8pm the evening before. Someone actually answered the phone. Shocked! I apologized for cancelling last minute and the gentleman was very cordial and even jovial. I think Plumb & Order will be my go to next time I'm in need of service. We ended up not using Plumb & Order for this project because the workaround we were considering for a drainage issue resulting from a bathroom renovation won't work. It's a bigger construction issue we will need to take up with our original general contractor. But I'm writing this review because of the experience and Wyatt's professionalism.
