I listened and did what he said, and we came out at the end with very minimal damage. FYI it was the cargo trailer way of moving-you load and unload it yourself. We did the loading end but the Sultans of Schlep sent 3 smart, funny, hipster artists to unload, which they did in 3 hours. I don't plan to move anytime soon but I would hire them again in a minute.

I negotiated a price for a bunch of dry wall repairs and reframing my front door. Because it was in…read moretheory rotten and needed to be reframed. Turns out it needed better screws in the hinges. This didn't result in a discount. I didn't fight it because he spent about 12 hours 'fixing the dry wall'. Promised that it would be paint ready, which to me means excess dry wall cleaned up textured, and seams smoothed. Several spots were missed the first day, but addressed by revisiting the provided the second day. At the end of the second day when he finished the same cracks were still visible with just a massive amount of dry wall going away from the cracks. Along with that things were patched that were on the list with so much mess I had to remove the spackle and do the spot again. He also didn't texture anything during cleanup so things are not paint ready. On top of the amount of mess left behind, I spent hours this weekend cleaning up dust and starting to correct the work. I was hoping this would save me hours of work cleaning and sanding drywall myself. This is not the case between needing the work redone and the cleaning. I wouldn't recommend them for dry wall work.

When he couldn't fit the large job in his schedule in the next 2-3 weeks, he volunteered to come out and paint our nursery that weekend on his own time so that we could get that room situated before the arrival of our baby. He came back to us that same day with a fair quote and was very responsive and friendly with the several follow-up questions we asked in the next days. His brother Dominic and other employee, Blake, were the ones that actually did the work in our home over the course of 9 days. They started by removing some wall paper and then spent numerous hours filling countless holes and cracks in our walls and ceilings. They tried to seal off the areas they were working in in order to minimize the dust as much as possible. They were very diligent at filling all the cracks and holes and smoothing them out so that they were no longer visible. They did several ceilings, a few bedrooms, trim, a living room, kitchen, and hallways, including two staircases. We actually added to the scope of work a couple of times and they were very accommodating. As we were working from home the entire time they were doing the job, we saw first hand how hard they worked throughout the day. They even came back for an extra couple of hours one day to make sure a blemish was fixed. They really went the extra mile, giving it their all and the results showed. We are very happy with how everything turned out! On top of a great outcome, it was a pleasure having them in our home.
