The RootBeer Floats get an A plus but I am disappointed with the way the Papa Burgers turned out today, I just picked up my order at 11:40am. My double Papa Burger had way too much salt in it..I'm not sure if they have a new griller at the one in Merced, Ca but that way too much salt. read more

Stopped by this A&W a couple of days ago (collocated with a KFC), and gosh I love their root beer floats. I hope they open more restaurants in the future near where I live, because A&Ws aren't everywhere and their food is uniquely great. Service was excellent. read more

I've been driving by KFC for years didn't know A & W was inside. Eureka today Thursday September 23, 2022. I cannot remember a better burger except FuddRucker in Palo Alto. Juicy hot delicious burger, crispy fries and sweet sugar free authentic Root Beer. Definitely worth the money for a Papa Burger ( 2 patties ), reg fries and medium drink. read more

Seems that most of these types of resturaunts are ran by younger people now so customer service just sucks in general this is not a acual A & W as they keep telling me so i fid that false advertising is a issue , my sandwich is soggy my fries are cold the only thing that happens to be warm are the cheese curds... Their drink station is a nasty sticky mess , i told the girl and she pretty much said nothing and went back to her otomoton personality .. Now for the KFC Side don't order the strips .. they is no chicken in them and they are so small its not even worth the money i paid matter of fact i should of asked for it back . what was i thinking .. Whomever owns or invests in this place needs to act quickly. They stop serving hamburgers at 9pm, when they close at 10pm to "clean". Change your hours or stopbeing lazy it makes you look sooooo bad Food is very inconsistent to the point of it not being edible. You can tell nobody cares 80% of the time your food is served. I used to love this place and would go here for my go-to-burger. The food was freshly cooked, the customer service was great and you just couldn't ask for more. However, today I have to just say overall, this place is no longer good. There wasn't a line when I got into the drive-thru and being asked to wait four minutes for our fries wasn't a problem. Given a single condiment of honey mustard wasn't the issue either. When I got home and opened up my bag, it was just surprising to see that my fries were stale. My burger looked squished and nasty and the yellowing lettuce and drippy tomatoes weren't fresh or appealing. I'm really sad to see this place has gone down and hope A&W/KFC gets it together soon so I can hopefully, maybe come back.. Maybe? read more

I decided I wanted some coney dogs for dinner and went to A&W and that was a mistake. I told them I had a coupon and ordered 4 coney dogs and no where on the coupon does it say limit. They told me I could only get 2 for the coupon price and pay regular price for the other two. I have gone to this restaurant for years with coupons and I don't go there all the time but do go a few times a year. Where do I start on this experience. Was driving thru town and decided to get some 2 bacon cheeseburger combos. Initially when ordered we were asked to pull to the side. So we did. 15min later still no food. Finally someone came to our car and realized they gave our order away. They were going to remake as soon as possible. I gave them our receipt to make sure they got the order right. Another 15min passed and our food finally arrived! Noticed right away the burgers were there but no fries. Finally I went inside and they made us 2 orders of fries to go. Finally on the road and I was excited to eat, yet when I opened my bacon cheeseburger with no mustard that I ordered I instead found a hamburger with no cheese or bacon and mustard with a cold patty. Luckily my wife's burger was correct, but still cold. By far this is the worst fast food experience I have ever had. We will never come back to this location! read more

I really hate giving bad reviews this will now be the third time I have come for chicken and they simply were out of chicken at a place that specializes in chicken, honestly I remember years ago this place was on point now I promise you they need a good manager, you have to wait 10 minutes to be told they're out of chicken they seriously cannot come up with a better way of letting us know at least maybe a sign you can put out at the drive-thru KFC has completely gone downhill I will not return again!!! read more

Poor customer service. Cashier didn't inform me there was no ice and soda was warm, than argued my request to refund my drinks. Waited 20mims for my meal and items where missing. Had to clean my own table in order to sit and eat. Not once did we receive an apology from the staff. This is absolute the worst a&w/kfc of all time. Not only do they completely screw up my order once they finally took it. The lady mistook my name (sarah) for melissa?????? How is that similar. There service absolutely sucks they have the worst employees with the worst attitudes. The drive thru sucks as well they are rude and they rush and they still always screw up my order. I went to a&w and ordered my food there was 1 person in front of me ordering food so i guessed it wouldn't be much of a wait. so i order and i wait and i wait and more than 30 minutes go by and nothing so i go and ask and they ask for my receipt and i did not have it because the cashier had kept it so they scramble around to look for it and they said it was lost they offered me a refund i don't think they had even started making the food at that point and the dining area was not very clean i would not recommend you come to this place i left hungry and unhappy and they wasted my time read more

So let start off by saying this happen about a week ago, I was told to go by and try the fish basket. They had nothing but good things to say about it and being I could eat fish each and everyday, I was on my way. So I get there and order and yes they where not busy when I got there, but that shorty changed. I ordered my fish basket, the large young man. Tall not fat and he was being trained by the manager, so she was there though out this process. Well shorty after I order it got busy, I waited and watched all the people who ordered before me served and then I saw all the people behind me get served and more. I finally want up to the counter and ask where my order was, I was told by the manger, it will be right up. Well as she said that I saw a worker pull the fish from the freezer and throw it into the fryer, I don't like to be lie to and I made a mention about how I just saw the fish go in the fryer. Next thing I knew, she was giving back my money and I never ask for a refund. I guess they didn't want to cook fish that day, but I told the manger. If you don't want to cook fish, take it off your menu. No sorry, no can I get something else for you.. Here your refund and turned around and walk away. Very piss poor service and if the service is bad. I can only wonder what the food is like. read more
