Eric was recommended by neighbors who had successful work done my him and his crew. Eric is professional, punctual and consistent. The work and clean up was exceptional. They rebuilt the wall and put the proper netting, drainage and bricks in place. My plants were protected as well. I need repainting but I am attaching some proof of great work. We also needed some brick repair on a front yard wall and that was handled nicely as well.

I requested stained concrete, fully stained through out , in case of chips or cracks so actual concrete grey wouldn't show. We agreed on price. They claimed they couldn't get the color so the company went ahead and poured regular concrete, without consulting with me. There was damage done to our home, the sides are horrible. The pressure washing before sealing, was completely inadequate. There are permanent stains everywhere. Dick came out to the job-sight to inspect, he was on the phone with someone and seemed really agitated about how the project turned out. I asked for compensation, and we agreed on a discounted price. He said Phillipe would send me a bill...never happened. Now a month or so goes by, I've tried to contact them numerous times and nothing. Tecnoconcrete never marked the job complete, and it showed that I didn't pay. Dick had a lien put against my property, I obviously paid the whole bill, to alleviate the lien. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will tell you what you want to hear and then do what they want.

I hired Tecnoconcrete for two purposes: 1) To install a new…read moredriveway 2) Install PVC drainage and grade and level the backyard In the beginning Dick and Felipe, owners, were all about getting the sale and doing the work. The day the concrete was poured and it looked great. I was so pleased and thanked everyone. Sounds great, right? CAUTION, READ CAREFULLY. So, at the end of that day I wrote Tecnoconcrete a check for the full amount of the concrete job, $6500. BAD MOVE. 8 days later no cleanup had been completed and my backyard was a collection of a bobcat, lots of concrete spillage, wood, piping and trash. And job #2 remained to be completed. Felipe did come by, but only to remove the stakes and boards (temporary support footing while concrete cures). Dick arrived later that day to help as the footings were not coming off easily. They loaded up some of the used footing boards and told me that they would be back in 4 days to complete all the work. What they didn't say that day was that they had damaged the structural component of the new driveway. When they removed parts of the wood footings several large chunks of driveway came off leaving significant holes. 5" diameter x 3.5" deep, exposing the rebar. Instead of informing me of the damage they instead hid it with 57 gravel. Meanwhile, a truck load of Top Soil was delivered and dumped in my backyard. Unfortunately, what was delivered was filtered Georgia Red Clay Soil instead of the high quality Black Top Soil that was priced and agreed on in the contract. My existing soil was/is a nice, rich, darker Brown so, why would I purposely add GA clay to it? I discussed this problem with Dick and we agree on these items: A) There is a lot more replacement dirt needed to replace dirt that was removed during the demolition B) The contract and discussions prior to the final projected cost were that quality black top soil was to be added and indicated at the cost of $440 C) Tecnoconcrete would not charge me for the clay soil D) I would order and pay for a truck load of the black top soil to be delivered E) Tecnoconcrete would combine the two types of soils and complete the jobs using that mixture The next day Dick proceeded in telling me that I didn't know what I was talking about, that Georgia Red Clay was the best and stated that there was plenty of soil to complete the job. There is nothing worse than being bullied by your contractor. 17 days after the work started , two crew persons, Dick, and Felipe show up to finish the jobs. The attitude of both partners was terrible and intimidating. Tecnoconcrete failed to remove all of the excess 57 gravel, concrete spills, old driveway debris, and replace top soil that was carelessly removed. Tecnoconcrete did not grade or level the backyard correctly. and left one big mud pile mixed with 57 Gravel. So, over the next few days I went around and took pictures of all of the debris left on my property and on the third day it rained like crazy and I took a few more photos of the failed grading and leveling job. The next day I started picking up the 57 gravel in the front and that was when I found the holes. I sent all of those photos to Tecnoconcrete so they were well informed. To this day Tecnoconcrete refuses to come back and complete the jobs and discuss the structural damage. It must also be said that Tecnoconcrete's, Dick Wightman and Felipe Gonzalez-Rubio are by far some of the rudest men I have met. During a 3 way Text conversation after I sent the images for their review they both decided to text in Spanish knowing I do not speak this language. What was said about me was absolutely horrific. I do not know if I will ever get these jobs completed or repaired, all I can say is just don't hire them.

If you pay to have slate chips…read moreinstalled over landscape fabric and the company only install landscape fabric in some areas although you pay for all of it, call A Abby. If you pay to have your property graded, seeded and strayed and instead they have a hill draining over your retaining wall and into the same slate chips you paid them to install, call A Abby. If you want a pond in your slate chips because they did not properly grade the area, call A Abby. If you want a drain installed to drain the aforementioned pond, and the install is going uphill, call A Abby. If you want seed and straw put over rocks that were supposed to be removed, call A Abby. Me, I am going to have to call any landscaper but A Abby to fix their mess.
