I moved to Idaho right before Covid .. so .. i had no chance to find a stylist .. before the lock down .. So Two years ! of my scissors and attempts at hair dye .. had left me ready for a whole new look but not sure where or who to go to .. I have had my fair share of stylists who bobbed their heads as I told them what i wanted .. then they proceeded to cut something .. that they must have seen on Tv .. the night before but was nothing like i described .. But .. My experience with Katie .. was Fabulous !!! She listened intently .. took notes .. asked questions.. She really wanted to make sure she knew what i wanted before we got started. She checked the color and and doubled checked .. She took her time ! but it never felt like a long time She was a delight to chat with .. Also .. Before doing anything she showed me the price .. and checked with me .. to see if it was going to be ok .and offered another option if it was too much just i case ! No surprises ! and the results .. My color was perfect ! She cut my hair dry and .. i ended up asking her to even cut more .. even more of a change than I originally thought .. We were the last ones in the shop .. and she had taken a lot of time .. and even then she offered to add some curls .. and i said yes ! she didn't hesitate ! All and all .. this was the first time .. i loved my hair .. 3 days after .. ( i usually get a little buyers remorse and miss my long locks once i cut a few inches off .) But i love it .. easy to style and i can do so many things with it ! It was like being in the coolest hair salon in Paris!! I live in London and have been visiting my family in Boise. I was looking for a salon to take my sister to do her hair and I also decided that I wanted a total change to my hair color. Lets say that I really could not tell them what exactly I wanted; I was showing them several different shades that to be honest were very different. First, the staff was so patient and really tried to understand what type of a look I liked, they took time to talk and come up with the ideas on what I may like. I walked out with the most amazing look ever!! I have no words to describe how nice, funny, and customer oriented everyone was. The interior is beautiful and charming, you will feel like to are sitting in the cutest hair salon in central London, Paris, Amsterdam..... everything from the selection of music to the carefully selected furniture was just perfect. I really don't want to do a raving review because as soon as everyone finds out about Carly, I won't get my pick for appointments, so promise me you won't tell anyone. So, just between me and you here is what it was like...first of all walking in was a pleasant surprise. It is so beautiful on the inside, great design, colors, lights, mirrors...just beautiful. I initially went there because of the convenient location. So on to Carly... very nice, pleasant and informative. I am over 50 and this is the very first time anyone has ever explained to me the quirks of my hair and given solid recommendations that actually make sense. She was very focused on giving me a cut that worked with my hair quirks and that opened up my eyes. I can tell she takes great pride in her craft and has the skill set to back it up! It was a very lovely and educational experience. I am going to continue and even explore their monthly coloring subscription. So please don't tell anyone. read more

Katie is beyond amazing! I was recommended to go to Beautiful Reactions Salon in hopes to get what I wanted with my hair and she did not disappoint!! Highly recommend this stylist. Not only is she friendly she will take her time on your hair and do your hair as if it's her hair!! She takes pride in her work 100%. She also waxed my eyebrows and I definitely will be coming back as she did amazing! The salon was very clean and organized and everyone treats you so kindly and will make sure your needs are met!! Highly recommend this salon and Katie as your stylist!! I went from pretty much black hair to light brown with some blonde highlights in it. I will be coming back for some highlights! So, my stylist was Katie and she was so sweet! I had just moved here and felt a little out of place and she was very welcoming to me. The head massage is while being conditioned was relaxing and the offering of a hot towel for my neck was a great addition. She answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable on product that would help me with my frizzy issue and my daughter's as well. She trimmed my hair and actually listened to me about how much to take off which is a plus. The added complimentary beverage made me feel like I was pampering myself for sure. I left the salon feeling amazing, it was just what I needed and my hair looks great and healthy. Definitely if you're looking for a place to call home this is the salon for you. My first time with a new stylist-colorist in 20+ years....I just moved from IL and had no choice but to start anew. I was nervous to meet my barely 20-something stylist. However, her confidence and delightful personality won me over as we selected base color and lowlights to compliment highlights that were too blond. When it came to styling and cutting my coarse hair (white underlying), I was impressed that the owner had her eye on me yet gave her young stylist the freedom to go as far as she could with my hair, leaving the final shaping in the owner's more experienced hands. It's been a week and I am thrilled with my slightly softer base color plus lowlights and shorter haircut. Next appointment in a few weeks! read more

This salon is the best thing to ever happen to the Boise area! The vibe right when you walk in is unlike any other salon I've been too. So warm and welcoming! The owner, Kelsey Crawford, is the most genuine, caring person I've ever met. She is so talented and truly wants everyone to have an amazing experience with beautiful hair. I was absolutely blown away with my experience at A Beautiful Reaction! Here are a few things I loved!! The salon is so gorgeous which makes the experience so fun! My stylist went over everything I wanted with me and showed me the price of each thing before hand so I knew what the cost would be! They also offer drinks with your service too! I went in to Matthew to have him add dimension to my hair and he did an amazing job, I have never been happy with the way my hair has been colored before but I love how it turned out after going to A Beautiful Reaction. Went there for the first time last week. I saw Carly and she's amazing!! She actually greeted me at the door and got me right in. She listened to what I wanted, showed me sample colors and some pics of clients hair color she did before. A very elegant salon!!! Everyone was so nice and friendly and chairs were very comfy.
