Booked an appointment with Brianna for a hair color for my hair which I'm growing out from chemotherapy treatments. So my hair is less than 1/2 inch in length. First off, she texts me that she's running late. I understand people have things that happen however, this is business and I arrived 10 minutes early and she was late on a first time appointment. Not impressed already. We go to her chair and I ask her if my hair would still be $100 (as I barely have any) and then she states yes as she has to put color and toner on it. I showed her my pictures of what I wanted and she said it was fine. Then she goes into a tired about everything has gone up food, clothing, her house payment is $3,600 and I stated my house payment hasn't really gone up and says she rents a house. Then she starts saying my examples of the hair color I want can't be done because it's the woman's real color. I stated no it wasn't and she said she couldn't guarantee she could color my hair the color I wanted and the fact I didn't like her price she wasn't comfortable doing my hair. I have been coming to this beautiful salon for a couple of months and have extremely happy with my new hair stylist, Melissa. It has only taken her 2 visits for her to grasp exactly what I like and she just "makes it happen" perfectly. I recently had an eyelash lift and tint with Janea who is absolutely wonderful. I was amazed at great my lashes looked after the process and love her beautiful room, with the relaxing spa music and heated table she has....ahhhh. After a long day at work, this was a wonderful and relaxing way to end my day. She is great at what she does and is so friendly and professional, I immediately felt relaxed letting her do the lift and tint. I am so happy to have finally found a salon that offers everything and has true professionals that "know" what they're doing. I've thought long and hard for the past 3 years about my most recent hair decision - that is longer than I've thought about any one of my tattoos, or purchasing my car, or going to college out of state. I say all of that to make the point it was a big deal that I finally just went for it and...drumroll...permed my hair. To preface the rest of this review, I will say I had zero color on my hair when I did this, which allowed the perm to take really well. I showed my stylist, Tisha, dozens of photos of perms that I loved and plenty of photos of what I did not want (I was terrified of looking like I stepped out of a 1980's rom-com). She knew exactly what it was I was going for. She incorporated lots of different size rods throughout the perm to give it a really natural look, which totally worked. I didn't expect it to turn out exactly like I wanted...but it did!! And I am so excited about it. The whole appointment took about 2.5 hours and consisted of getting my hair washed...A LOT. As she styled and dried my hair, she gave me the full scoop on how to care for my perm (what shampoos/conditioners to use, how to blow-dry it, how often to get a trim, and when she thought I should come back to touch it up.) I'm so thankful she did, because I'm already finding that curly hair is a heck of a lot different to care for/style than my natural locks. Her perms cost $140, which is a price I am more than happy to pay for her experience and expertise (she's been doing hair for over 30 years and did perms when they were in style). I left the salon giddy about my new hairstyle. I'm so glad I finally did this and I am SO thankful I came to Tisha for it. It turned out better than I could have ever hoped for! I recently relocated to Meridian and needed to find a salon. I went to Yelp to read a lot of reviews and decided to try Casa Bella Salon. Looking through all the bios of the stylists on their web site, I chose Savanna as she specialized in blonde hair. Sometimes a risk pays off. The risk of an unknown stylist without a personal recommendation is very scary. Savanna did a fantastic job matching my root color and styling my hair.... all while being super personable to chat with. I will absolutely be back to see her in the future. And, the icing on the cake, she takes Venmo. There is literally nothing more I could ask for. I saw Lorrie here and it was horrible. Took 3 hours to do a partial highlight and trim. My hair has never looked this bad. It's brassy, chunky and way over processed on the ends to the point it looks grey. I paid $155 and want to cry! Avoid at all costs!! read more

My hairdresser, Michelle, was wonderful! She actually fixed a poor haircut that I had previously and I was able to notice the difference. She helped me keep the length while simultaneously getting rid of the dead ends, which I appreciated. On top of being great at her job, she was just a sweet and genuine person to converse with. Went for a pedi today. Had a gift card I had to hang onto because of the pandemic that kept a good portion of us pretty much at home. All went well the girls were very nice and pleasant and I really enjoyed the pedi. When going to pay I took out my gift card and was told they don't accept them any longer. The business changed hands during the pandemic and they just decided not to process the outstanding gift cards! So they had no way any longer to know who held the cards and the amounts, they said records were destroyed when the business changed hands. So someone there made off with the $ paid for the gift card and charged me the fee for the pedi. They were paid twice for the same services and they had no records! Really disappointed in the way they do business and hope not too many more people have gotten burned like I did. Who buys a business and doesn't reconcile all the outstanding transactions? Megan is just awesome, welcoming, friendly, reassuring, and fearless! When I told her I wanted to chop all of my hair off, she was all for it, no hesitation, no trying too talk me out of it. I showed her a picture of what I had in mind, we talked a bit about my concerns, and she went to work. Gave me a razor cut, with tons of texture that works for my hair type. She showed me how to style it and have me advice on how to get the looks I want. Y'all, I love my hair. I've taken a million pictures in my car as I run errands, just mugging it up. Had a wonderful experience with Lacee! I recently moved here from San Diego and was nervous about trying someone new. I'm used to using Yelp to find the right person but found that it was hard to find a lot of reviews for a specific stylist in this area. (My stylist in San Diego had hundreds of reviews and took up to two months to get in.) I was fortunate to find Lacee on Thursday and able to get in for a highlight/lowlight/cut appointment on Friday! Unlike other stylists I've used in the past, she will listen to your requests and actually follow through, giving you everything you ask for and more! I'm Covid vaccinated, so I opted not to wear my mask, but she immediately offered to put one on to do my hair which I thought was a very thoughtful gesture. I went in for a cut and was reassigned to a different stylist due to illness. That was fine but what I asked for wasn't done. I was told the cut I wanted would "look choppy." I asked for thinning because I've had a lot of pain when I put my hair up (thick hair) and that didn't happen. The stylist basically gave me a blunt trim. Then without asking first, she curled my hair and used a ton of hairspray. I also felt like she was super rough. Without brushing my hair, she ripped her fingers through it a lot and then told me it was tangling because my hair is damaged. I honestly just wish they'd communicate more, and ask questions if they don't understand what their client wants. Also, the constant shilling of extra services is a bit much. If I'm coming in for a haircut, I obviously don't want you to dye it or try to upsell me to do more. A small mention is fine, but if I decline just leave it alone. I feel like I paid for nothing. Not returning. Pros: the facility is nice and I didn't have to wait long for my appointment to begin. read more

Not very happy with my experience. I had an appointment with Vanessa scheduled for 1, stylist rescheduled 30 min. before my appointment for 1:45 because her current client was taking a while, which I thought was understandable. I arrived at 1:45 and ended up waiting until 2:30. When my stylist came out, she seemed very rushed, again, understandable. But she never slowed down, made me feel anxious. During the appointment, she was very rough and would pull my hair hard while telling me to keep my neck straight. While she was applying color, she would basically hit my head with the brush. I literally had a headache. The end product was pretty but not at all what I wanted. She was very nice but I went in wanting light brown with golden, honey blonde highlights and paid $95 for straight up silver hair. read more
