I have been a loyal customer of Skinsations for many years now. I received a text message as a reminder about an upcoming appointment. I responded to the text apologizing that I was unable to keep the appointment. Today I received a call that my credit card was charged $159.00 for not showing up for the appointment. I'm told by Tracy that she can't see my response to her text. Why send the text then? As a business owner, she should find a better way to communicate with her clients and perhaps appreciate their loyalty. Instead I was instantly charged and told "maybe I would be happier elsewhere". Wonderful experience here. Everyone was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I had the pleasure of having Lisa as my facial esthetician. She put me right at ease with her friendly helpful personality. I have been struggling with what I thought was chronic hormonal acne, but she explained to me what I was suffering from is a skin condition known as Milia. I finally had an answer to this problem that had plagued me forever. It was such a relief to have answers, especially when she explained ways that I could treat it effectively. I'm not sure which of the services I receive I like better-a relaxing pedicure, or a super-relaxing facial. I've been going to Skinsations ever since they opened for business at their previous location on Water Street in Guilford. Besides providing professional skin care services in their salon, they offer advice on products and a skin care regimen for you to use and follow at home. I feel like I have new feet after a pedicure and my nails have been polished. My daughter has started going to the massage therapist at Skinsations and says it's the best...having a massage there is definitely on my list! I think you'll wonder why you've never been there before as soon as you walk in the door and are greeted with a sincere and friendly smile. I'd been to several skin and nail care businesses over the years but never found one which I felt is so dedicated to providing me with the best in product and service. read more
