Good bbq isn't an easy thing in colorado but this place definitely has it. The brisket was flavorful and smoked. The bacon jam on the BJ sandwich is memorable. The wings are nice and crispy. I've been to this place twice and I've gotta say I'm not impressed. The food is ok, their beer is ok, and both seem expensive for what you get. But the deciding factor for me is the service- both times I've been there have been seriously disappointing. The wait staff consistently seem more interested in hanging out at the bar than actually running food. The second time we were there, it took 15 mins to get our second round of drinks- and we were the only table occupied other than the bar. I'm really sad because this place is within walking distance of my house and I had high hopes for a new brewpub in the neighborhood. But with the treatment I've gotten there, and that my neighbors have gotten there, I've decided it's not worth my time or money. read more

The brews are stellar, if you like it dark try the Phat Twosday, tastes like a Christmas time chocolate orange in a stout. If you like wheat the Hefenweight Champ is a treat, so much orange and light back end. The Texas style grubs are spot on. We had the Smoked Brisket Sliders and you know from the smell you are in for a taste of home, that's Texas y'all. It's amazing. Fun little bar games sit on top of each table. He seemed honestly very annoyed that my dad and I were there on a taco Tuesday during happy hour. Me, a young plus sized woman. So, my dad ordered a bud light. I ordered a white claw. News flash. It's ok that people don't drink craft beer especially when you don't give any recommendations when your beer is named "My Little Pony Pilsner" and that gives no descriptors. Wasn't just us either. A table over asked what to order. He asked what they liked. Guy at table says IPA. Dude goes "IPAs are all hazy, sooo." Like duh idiot. Don't you know beer??? The atmosphere was really unwelcoming. Again, felt like it was annoying to them that my dad and I were there. I asked what the difference was between two sizes of something on the food menu. Dude goes "ones a smaller basket, ones bigger, I dunno it's hard to articulate". Ok... so I ordered the small one. Nice upcharge. and he charged us full price for tacos on taco Tuesday. I don't care. I just wanted to leave. The bbq however, is honestly pretty good. It's smoky and woody and everything central TX bbq can be, so kudos to the pit master. Let's just say I live in the neighborhood and have a very large group of beer drinking friends. I would never in a million years take them there, especially my female and non-binary friend group. Beer and BBQ I'll give them 2 stars because the Pilsner is tasty, and that's hard to find in the States. But everything else? Disappointing. All beers are lukewarm. It's summer, folks--serve a cold beer. The pulled pork is just braised or foil-wrapped butts, it's not BBQ by any means. No bark, no smoke, just cooked pork. The potato salad comes with some nice , extra-crunchy (i.e. undercooked) potatoes. The 'baked beans' are simply canned beans and lack any flavor, aside from what comes out of the can. Bonus? It's EXPENSIVE. $7.25 for a warm beer, and $4 for a cup of crunchy potatoes and for them to open a can of beans. If they learn the concept of chilled beer, I'd recommend visiting, but to pay premium price for lukewarm beer isn't gonna draw customers. read more

Solid spot. The house beers( made in a 2 barrel system) were very well done...check out the My Little Ponytail Pilsner and the Ball'n in Hollywood West Coast IPA. Great variety of brews on tap for any type of craft beer lover. They also offer a full bar for other domestics, pickle and jalapeño infused shots. We stopped by for some quick bites: mozzarella sticks and fries were good, the wings weren't as crispy as I would have liked and I wish they offered a dry rub that they use on their bbq meats. A lot of Hefty boxes not stored away, open boxes visibly on the floor, kind of messy, which can raise concerns for safety reasons and inspection.
