Most of the communication was done via messaging, but he was also responsive when I needed to call and talk with him, and he was always prompt at returning calls. Setting up an appointment for him to visit, measure, and determine the kind of shades was easy and he showed up on time. He brought many samples based on our interests and provided many options for us and took time to answer all our questions. As promised, Andy came back two weeks later for the install which took about 45 min. We had two large windows and a double patio door that needed new blinds in our main living area. We wanted something that looked similar to our Hunter Douglas Silhouette styled blinds. We went with the ALPS collection and are very satisfied with the clean look, price point, and lifetime warranty. Just FYI, you will want to consider how much natural light you are receiving when deciding on the type of window treatment you are looking for. The area we replaced faces more North, so less light during the day. We realized that even with our shades on the "open" setting, we weren't getting enough light, so we tend to keep it in the rolled up position during the day if we are home. Nothing wrong with the shades, we love them, just something to consider. Later down the line, we may think about doing some work on our upstairs windows and A Blinds with Andy will be our first call! read more

We recently moved into our new townhome without realizing blinds installation would typically take 2 months to complete for the entire process when you don't install it yourself. A-blinds really stepped up to the plate and made the whole process really simple and fast. Andy is amazing! He was very professional and patient with us. He walked us through the entire process with such passion right from the beginning. Needless to say we stopped shopping around as soon as we walked in the door. I've installed blinds with my brother in the past and it's a lot of work to get it done right the first time. I was surprised how fast Andy was and he did it all by himself! The blinds are perfectly installed; no apparent gaps or light leaking through (despite uneven window frame), the cords are consistent in length, nothing rattling or loose, etc. Also, the quality of the blinds is outstanding. My wife and I decided to go with double roller blinds and it was the best decision ever. It feels like more of an art work rather than blinds. The design of the blinds, fabric, blinds housing, cords, and cord weights looks and feels luxurious. All this comes with a very reasonable price tag. What a great recommendation Andy made to install blinds that are similar to my Hunter Douglas Silhouettes. The difference is the blinds Andy installed are sturdier, won't collect bugs in between the two fabrics, the fabric is thick and yet allows light through with privacy, and the string mechanism to open and close the blinds is well made and will last with heavy use. The price is unbeatable! So, if you're on a budget and you like Hunter Douglas, but don't want to pay the Hunter Douglas prices, call A-Blinds. I wish I had called him months ago. The lead time is about two weeks (at least it was for me) for 5 blinds including a corner window, and the installation is done with precision. Andy is very particular so you know you're going to get a job well done. He works with John his assistant who is also careful with detail and he is precise like Andy.
