Mixed results on this company. They rescued me from a grocery store once. Then I needed a ride to a pharmacy ASAP for meds and it was a two hour wait. I was clocking the minutes because I would have had to call 911. I didn't have to but when you're in need of life saving meds remember that if these people don't show up it's your tax dollars at work for a meaningless, overpriced trip to an ER that has to be the most absurdly stupid thing ever. read more

I clearly got ripped off from the airport with A-Cab taxi service. My ride cost $33 to one of the closest hotels on the strip to the airport in the quiet morning hour. The taci has a sign that you must request the shortest distance or the driver goes the long way. I didn't see it and don't really know the route. My other trips have cost no more than $10-15 for the same drive. I will say "no" to this service. read more

Good Evening, I would like to file a complaint against a very rude taxi driver that made myself and my girlfriend feel very uncomfortable and threatened earlier today. His name was Charles Passera, I believe the company was A-Cab Taxi and the car looked like a Scion xB. We had been shopping at Meadow Mall, a girl in the shop called a cab for us, not only did he take a very long time to arrive to us but the reception he gave us wasn't particularly pleasant. We were travelling to South Grand Parkway Outlet Center, surprised at how long it took him to arrive I asked him politely if had been busy today, his response was outrageously disgusting as he blurted very aggressively "No we haven't, but we've still got two and a half years left of this crap from this guy that you Europeans love so much", we were confused as to what he meant, but then he continued in his angry racist slur "Because that's what you Europeans love; this socialist communist crap, you're from Europe right?", we were shocked how an innocent question turned into a political verbal assault, my girlfriend tried to explain that we had no knowledge on the subject and that we weren't all the same, however he interrupted and carried on as if we were to be held personally responsible and took no notice of our innocence on the subject. We didn't say anything to him afterwards because conversation felt like a bad idea, the atmosphere was extremely awkward and we just wanted the journey to be over. Then he started ranting about the venue we had chosen to visit and how he didn't understand why we wanted to go there because there was another one that was the same, we didn't feel he was in any position to advise us considering he'd just been so rude to us previously. Taxi drivers should not be allowed to make customers feel the way he made us feel, when they become a driver in a popular tourist destination they should understand they will meet people of all different backgrounds and nationalities. Really unhappy with the service. Been in vegas a week and used them almost every time needing a cab, and got many nice drivers till one guy picked us up and asked where we were going and it was 3 miles away. He literally said "you guys fucked me over, fucked me so bad, wtf" and kept saying it till i told him we didnt do anything but call a cab so no we didn't fuck you. Then today we stood around for a whole hour waiting for a cab, and called them back to check the status and the lady told me she tried calling us(we had no missed calls and she said she called 3 times) and that they wont help us at all today because we didn't answer. We have alaska phone numbers so maybe it didn't connect? Either way, they are assholes, never using them again. read more

I took A Cab Taxi on 10-7-2018. The driver was rude and drove dangerously. I hope they do a much better job in hiring. I did let them know what happened. Extremely bad customer service. Rude operators and an inept supervisor. I called for a cab at 3:15pm, but gave up waiting when it was 3:45 pm and the car hadn't shown up. Called them and they gave me as a excuse that the area I was was too far from everything (it's a pretty central area) and hung up on my face. I called again and asked for the supervisor who also rude and hung up on my face. They made me lose my appointment! Do not use this service. read more

Cabs in Vegas all have the same cost, I think the state sets it AND the $3fee for cards. I've used them all, & this 1 seems to be the best. but being the best cabs in Vegas isn't saying much. Some cabs are new some were over 350K miles! it's useless calling any cab company on the weekends, but living on the west side of town, I can depend more on a-cab than the others. I tip them well and in return I get better service. I talk to other passengers & I noticed that those who don't tip well are the same people who wait longer. I'm surprised how many people who work for tips, think it's okay NOT to tip others. I believe in Kharma, and tip well. If I get bad service, I tip small & maybe say WHY it's so little. I guess what I'm saying is that I use A-Cab the most because their drivers appreciate a good passenger. I will NEVER call Western or Desert cab ever again. If we had not gotten into Donnae's cab last week, our vacation in Las Vegas would have been ruined! After she dropped us off at our hotel, we left our camera in the back of her cab. After two other fares, she found our camera case. She looked in the case and found a boarding pass with my name on it. She searched for me on Facebook and used sent me an IM. When I did not respond, she remembered that she dropped us off at the Vdara. She left a message with the hotel with her phone number. I called her directly and was so relieved that she tracked me down. She even offered to meet me at the restaurant I was planning to eat that evening to drop off the camera in person. We are so grateful for Donnae going above and beyond so that our vacation was not ruined nor losing a valuable item. If you get in Donnea's cab, you will be well taken care of! read more

I like this company because of how consistent and quickly they arrive. They really treat their regulars awesome. They are a small company but a growing one. You for sure have to become a regular to see quick response time. Before I used to call them and had to wait a while but since I've been using them for about two months and call often they get to me within ten to fifteen minutes. read more

A Cab was recommended by the Concierge, and what a great recommendation. They have been extremely reliable, always courteous, and a pleasure to utilize as a Service. Normally, I'll catch one of the strip cabs, they're easy to get, but a true pain in the proverbial rear end. A Cab, has a super online ordering service, courteous dispatch, and thus far, great drivers. We've used them over 10 times, the past few days, and they've been great. I needed a cab service on Friday 8/15/14 because my car was in the shop, so I called A Cab Service for my ride to work and things worked out fine. I decided to call them again for a ride home from work and I had the WORST customer service experience I've had in a very long time. Her name was Teresa and if I were over their quality dept I would send her back for re-training. Actually this company can't have a quality dept because she would have never been hired. She was so rude and condescending, then she hung up in my face. I decided not to give that company any of my business or hard earned money, so I called Western Cab Co at (702)382-7100. They arrived quick, the rate was fare and the driver was kind. Finally, thanks to Teresa I will never use this cab service again and if I could just have one person read this post, and not give business to a company who doesn't appreciate good paying customers, I've done my job. These companies need to remember it's the customer that keeps your company a float, and we do have other choices, without us you would be out of business, SO TREAT US RIGHT!!! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. We have used A Cab for years, and have generally been satisfied (despite enduring some harrowing rides). But after the treatment we received tonight, that business relationship has likely ended. You would think with Uber coming online in LV, cab companies would work hard to keep their customers. Instead, when I tried find out why we were being told it would be another 25 minutes for our ride to the airport (a time sensitive trip), 35 minutes after the originally quoted 20-30 minute wait, the supervisor said I should "find another cab company." This cab company's customer service is VERY bad! I never knew something would happen to piss me off enough to write a review. So this is what happened: I called for a cab to pick up my customers from my business. The first gentleman i spoke to told me that the cab driver would come upstairs once he is here because i told him my business is on the second floor of the building in the plaza. No one ever came upstairs. So i called back after a while, and this time the lady i spoke to told me cab drivers can never leave their cab, but i swear the first gentleman definitely told me that, i wish i did a voice recording of my own calls so i could bring it up and prove it to their supervisors and also for this review here. Right after this, when i was asking if they would send another one out for my customers, she simply hung up on me before i could even finish my sentence. So that is bad customer service and very rude and she had a bad attitude even just for talking to a person. I called back again asking for the supervisor whose name is James, who refused to give out the names of the previous two employees i talked to, and he firmly told me that he was there right next to those two people i talked to and he never heard them said the things i told him about. Good job on defending your employees, but BAD on delivering a reasonable customer service, he again hung up on me before i could even ask if they actually sent out another cab for my customers or not because of all this drama. When i asked if they got a corporate number i could call to voice my complaint and bad experience with their phone people, he just told me to call back after 8am tomorrow and then hung up on me again while i was still speaking.. So that did not answer my question at all or solve my problem. Of course no cabs ever came for my customers. I hope the big people upstairs would see this and make a change, talk to your employees! Cab drivers and cab company are definitely a big part of customer service, so please! Bizarre at best. I ordered a cab and when it hadnt arrived in 20 minutes I called to inquire, the woman said not yet. when I replied "oh you haven't sent it yet" meaning that we had not missed it. She replied "if you are going to take that attitude you can just call someone else" what? I wasn't annoyed. Just checking on status. Who knew it takes half an hour to get a cab in the city of tourists and conventions?! The dispatch could relay at first call that it would take at 20-40 minutes so patrons are aware. Or, if she truly had an indignant customer,she could learn skills to be able to relate "I'm sorry it seems long, I'm working on it and expect another X minutes We will have someone there. " Obviously, she takes a lot of grief from customers, which is unfortunate. And obviously she does not have the maturity to deal with tired and weary travelers. Las Vegas needs uber. How can a tourist destination city not want to accommodate tourists. It's a comfort issue, a safety issue, a convenience issue. Don't bother with this company. I use to drive taxi and understand about the service of all taxi company services.But dispatcher a bunch of untruthful words person specially from this A cab company! First I call speaking with the honest dispatch for a handy van service. She is not sure if she can providing the service,so I hang up while I'm making appointment online with they company! lol Dispatcher called back to confirm if I need a handy van or not with a voice demanding. I was going to forget it but this service it's for my patient.But at this time she said"she can be able to give service without give me any time for waiting time!! So I CALL BACK in 20-30 to confirm the time if they can be able to dispatch a driver. Now one liar told me that my last dispatcher told me it's going to be 2 HOURS WAITING!!! and I'm not give them chance to explain!? With the commonsense have she told me at the first time! Did you think I going to wasting they time and mine to book any ride? I wish I could give this post zero stars but, I can't. My boyfriend and I were trying to get a taxi on a Friday night/Saturday morning but the taxi was taking a really long time. I called back and was told the taxi was on the way. 2 hours later I called back and was told the taxi was on its way yet again. An hour later I called back "Michelle" answered. The worst costumer service ever. She was rude and then told me that if I didn't like it to go find another taxi. She was very rude...I'm just saying if you hate your job soooo much find a new one. The bartender heard how she was speaking to me and he took it upon himself to call a cab for us. The cab finally came at 5:30am almost 5 hours later. BTW I did call other taxi's but the were courteous enough to let us know the taxi wouldn't be able to come pick us up. I waited for 10 mins before I called the customer service number again and let them know someone called but no cab driver. I call 25 min later and they said they'll send another cab. Like what? The lady who is dispatch is awful and rude. I ask to speak to a manager and she tells me she's the only one working and I can hear multiple people in the background. Ended up waiting 45-50 min for a cab I ordered at 6 pm. Terrible service. I called (for someone else) at 11:35am and was told that a cab should be at the address (UNLV) within 25 minutes and that if it were not, I should call back. She also stated that ACab was currently slow and it should not take that long. The person that I was calling for was nervous about being late for their call time and asked me to call again at 11:57am. Admittedly, this was only 22 minutes but I didn't see the harm in calling to get an updated estimate. When I called the dispatcher was very rude and only said that they were still trying to get someone out here and that it had not yet been 25 minutes...and then she hung up on me. It is now 1:05pm and the cab never came and likely never will. Luckily the person in need found another cab. read more

This is the worst company ever! Left my luggage in a cabin Las Vegas, had the time, taxi number- #1402 and the location and they were so rude to me! Diana, the lost and found person, could of cared less that I lost my stuff!!! I had to repeatedly call them and same bad attitude. She never called me back like she said she would and told me the driver did check and there was no luggage! Am I crazy or a liar because I lost my very valuable- only to me -stuff!! I was told by a very rude dispatch, that they were very close and it would only be a few minutes. 25 more minutes go by, so I call again, the same, low class, unprofessional dispatch informed me, I hadn't been waiting that long! I informed her this was my third call in one hour and was still waiting in the heat. She then tells me, the cab just turned the corner and was finally here for me, but wasn't going to stop and pick me up, because I was rude to her. I wish I could leave ZERO stars. First things first: I usually don't write reviews nor am I an angry or rude person. I called A Cab and explained we needed a pick-up (20 minutes north of Las Vegas strip) to the Las Vegas strip. They told me they estimate 30-45 minutes: I understand they might be busy and we were ok with 45 minutes. We had a meeting at 5pm and called them at 3pm. I estimated 4pm latest for a pick up. I called again at 3:30 to check the status they still didn't have anyone to send out. I called again at 4pm, they were being extremely rude on the phone and talking to other colleagues and laughing (all while I was on the phone) and said "haha the hotel lied to you, we still don't have anyone for your pick up". WHAT?! I'm from Florida and now live in New York. A cab is NOT a professional cab service and they are extremely rude. Hence, the kind valet gentleman gave us a direct contact to another taxi company driver and we were still 10 minutes late to our meeting but we would've been waiting forever for A Cab. Really.... 1 hour and 45 minutes later? I called and was kind enough to cancel and they said "k" and hung up. read more
