When he picked up the motorcycle the seat was on when he had dropped off the motorcycle to its destination it was not I had called and asked for a refund and he was very rude about it he had said he didn't tow the motorcycle and he gave the number of (408)509-9299 this was the guy who towed my motorcycle I had called the number and it was Roy pretending to be someone else this is a one man owned business all I asked was that my motorcycle made it there the way it was picked up and this tow service was incapable of that you had one job that u could not do and you won't give a refund for something you lost so unprofessional. read more

My sister who I lent my car to, had it towed out of her complex because it didn't have a permit (was stolen) however the car was registered to the complex parking spot... the Robledo towing company was being very difficult when the manager of the building company was trying to reason with them to drop the charges... it was stressful I had two hours to get the car out of the lot or the overnight fee would be added. I looked through yelp and the name itself stood out and called hoped for the best.. I believe Roy picked up the phone and he had a humor about the whole situation about the get go and it just made everything calm, he asked us about the situation and when my husband told him, he said he'd meet me there. Roy shows up in a pick up and trailer and how he did everything was so QUICK! I don't know about all the negative reviews in here about this business and Roy, the joking the laughing made me feel better during this whole situation, I felt like I was being helped by someone in my family. [!!!!! WARNING !!!! ] [!!!! BEWARE OF UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES. !!! ] Cheap Tow (a.k.a R and R Tow). Cheap Tow is a fictitious business name for R and R Tow. They quoted me a price of $85 for the tow of which I happily agreed as that was the best price I could find after calling 3 other to companies. When we reach the agreed on location they did not offer the option to bill me the outstanding $10 balance. Some how I lost $10 dollars when riding along in his truck to my house. The driver promptly told me that he was going to have to take my 2009 X5 BMW to his yard. They told me the storage fee would be $75 per day. They failed to provide me an invoice which made it difficult to follow up and reach them. There was nothing I could do as he drove off with my vehicle. Unfortunately I that very day I dropped my iPhone X Max which shattered the display. I took my phone to Sprint the very next morning and they sent it to be repaired by Apple which took some time. After about a week and half I receive a bill for Cheap Tow (AKA R and R Tow) and was shocked to see they changed the quoted and agreed on prices. The tow price changed to $125 ($80 quoted and agreed price) and the storage price changed to $85 ($75 quoted and agreed price). I called to discuss with them as soon as I received the bill as this was the first opportunity being that his number was in the phone that was still being repaired. Now they are now asking for $2000 dollars to release my vehicle and filed a fraudulent DMV Lien for vehicles valued under $4000 so that they can sell my vehicle at an auction My 2009 X5 BMW has 77k miles and was picked up from the mechanic with a brand new 9k dealer installed transmission from Stevens Creek BMW (Kelly Bluebook value 10k-15k). I am providing this feedback as a WARNING unsuspecting customers of the unfair business practices of Cheap Tow (AKA R and R Towing). They claim to be cheap then will change the price on you and hold your vehicle for ransom. I report them to the Automotive Bureau of Repair. read more

People need to avoid this guy. My partner and I had an emergency and we contacted him to tow our car. First he lied with the time, he said it was going to take a few minutes for him to call back. An hour went by and he did not call, we called him and he said he was going to call soon. Then he called us and he did not apologize, he said he could help us but it was going to take about 20 more minutes. Twenty minutes went by and no news from him, we waited an extra half an hour and no news from him at all. Finally we decided to call someone else. It's been nearly a week and we are still waiting for him to call us, I do not know whether he was playing or what but this is not the way to take care of the clients. We wasted so much time waiting and got no services, if he had told us that he was busy then we would have looked for someone else but instead he just kept us waiting. Okay so, Russell helped me thru the whole process. I did have to call, and leave a message,(8:30am)but he got back to me within 20 minutes (by 9am)I had a bit of a process to go threw to get to my vehicle. He was very patient and understanding of this, and was available at the location(my vehicle) before I was. He was very friendly, funny and held great conversation the whole way so it wasn't awkward. The prices were well below other places and he even gave me a slight discount from what he quoted. And his dog was a great little touch of welcoming, lol maybe not so great if you don't like dogs because she will say hello. This is my first review on Yelp, I usually don't leave reviews but this experience was so wild I had to. This place has a decent rating and the cheapest I could find to tow my car to a tire shop when I got a flat and didn't have a spare. This business is run by a 79 year old white man (which at first didn't faze me at all) who was relatively polite and gave me a good quote. Upon arrival, he came out of his truck and straight to up to me and said "key?" with his hand out. Um ok? Sure sir, here's the key. Then he complains he needs to use the restroom. We are in a shopping center with a target with open restrooms to the public, which I explicitly explained to him at least twice. Rather than go inside target and do his business, he showed me an empty container that you connect to catheters and said "found the restroom!" And proceeded to PISS IN THE CONTAINER next to his truck with doors open! I couldn't believe it, kept looking at my friend next to me saying "he's not actually peeing right now, right?" And if that wasn't enough, he asked me to pay for the tow service before we even left the parking lot to go to the tire shop. The 79 year old white man asked me, a 21 year old female of color, to pay for the service beforehand. I thought that was odd, and my friend asked him why I couldn't pay for the service after it was completed. His response was that "it will be really busy over there, lots of people, easier to just take care of it now." Not saying he's a bigot, but how many of their white customers are they charging before service? I should've just told him to stop and found another place to tow my car, but lesson learned. Outstanding!... Russell is a real professional with a great personality and a straight-forward way of looking at things. We urgently needed an early morning tow for the SUV because of an oil filter problem. Russell answered the phone and said he'd be there in 15... he was there in less than that! First off Russel from A Cheap Tow answered his phone. I was broke down on the 280 in rush hour traffic-he got there in 7 minutes. Not only did he guide me to safety the second he got there by ushering me into my truck but he also quickly troubleshot the problem and got my truck running in mere minutes saving me almost quadruple the bill. I had told him in advance that if we couldn't get it running that it would have to be towed to Sunnyvale and he didn't take advantage if that knowledge. He jumpstarted my truck using tactful methods and escorted me off the freeway. I don't know many reputable people who conduct business like this these days but Russel sure did act honestly given that he could of acted like the truck wouldn't start by deceiving me and get the big payout from the long tow, which would have been the "easy money " move. If all that wasn't enough he had me go to his shop where he fixed all my connecting wires to my battery, checked my battery with a top of the line battery charger/tester and offered me a replacement battery. He did this all for 40 bucks. He rescued and escorted me and then fixed the problem and provided me with an operating part. I mean I'm just flabbergasted. NO ONE DOES THIS ANYMORE THESE DAYS FOLKS. Russel you are a good man. An honest hard working customer pleasing man. He had a great attitude, cracked jokes and made the whole experience free of any awkwardness. His two dogs he had at his shop were the happiest, friendliest dogs I have ever interacted with and I think we all know how good a man is based on his animals response to him. This review is actually for the father, Roy (and his adorable little dog, Rascal), who runs ABC Towing. After some issues with a dead car, I called the number for A Cheap Tow this morning and Roy answered on behalf of ABC Towing. I explained where I was and where I needed to take the car and he said he would call me back in a few minutes after checking his messages. He called me back shortly thereafter letting me know he'd be by in 10-15 minutes. He arrived in the specified time and got my car attached to his trailer despite having a faulty battery on the trailer. He's in great shape being almost 74 years old! His dog, Rascal, who is a teeny tiny little muppet, made excellent company on the ride to my mechanic. All-in-all, it was a good experience. Roy was fast, friendly, and helpful, and the service did not break the bank. Exceptional service from Russell! Called him to ask for a tow, he arrived earlier than he said he would, which is always a plus. He seems a little rough around the edges, but he knows his stuff. Got my non working truck on the flatbed with ease despite the cramped conditions of my street. I rode along with him as he towed the truck, and he is a very cordial, and humorous person. The tow was fast, and then he was able to place the truck exactly where we needed it in another cramped location. I was impressed with his skill. Charged me exactly what he quoted which was cheaper than any of the other tow companies that I'd called. Showed up with a truck and a flat bed trailer, not exactly what i was expecting.The guy that showed up asked what was wrong with my car. I said i didnt know, just wouldnt start. He shook his head, rubbed his eyes and kind of chuckled to himself ...the way people do when they think youre an idiot. Not having the time to deal with this, i asked him to just tow me down the street. He proceeded to lecture me about how he'd been doing this for 45 years and he was 72 yrs old.
