My son has been coming here for a few months now. He is taking piano lessons here. He really enjoys coming and has learned a lot of the short amount of time that he has started. His teacher is very patient and knows how to motivate him. There are a lot of different classes to encourage kids explore various instruments, voice and even dance I believe. I took my son in for the Free trial Aussie Roo class and wasn't entirely impressed. The facility was not very clean and had a lot of debris on the ground. When you are doing a class for young children, I would assume that they would want the facility to be clean so that there isn't any choking hazards on the floor. I had to pick up 4 or 5 large items off the floor and set them aside. The equipment is in a small, hot space with the sun beating in the room. Everyone, including the teacher was very warm. The equipment also didn't feel very clean. The teacher, who was very nice, wasn't involved with all the kids. She definitely focused on the kids she knew, which were only a couple, and didn't really interact with us much. The teacher also had her son at the class, which I agree is nice for him and to have a kid to demonstrate different activities but he was on the older side and pretty active. He was running a little wild in the class and getting in front of all the kids, sometimes knocking them down to get in front of the kids for toys. The teacher simply didn't pay a ton of attention to what he was doing. Lastly, the second part of the class that had more "music" wasn't great at all. She did random songs and not a lot of parents who were regulars knew the songs. She had us rub our child down with loofahs, which I doubt have been cleaned. The rug was dingy and the parachute had holes. I think the biggest take away from the class was that it felt very unclean. I am not someone who usually stresses over being super sanitized but a quick once over of the vacuum and some Clorox wipes go a long way. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place. Especially at $54 a month. read more

I have been taking our daughter to AussieRoo and Kindermusik classes for almost 2 years now, since she was 5 months old. Both classes are helping to prepare her for preschool with social and listening skills and learning to follow instructions. The social environment of both classes with other kids and parents has been so encouraging and supportive for both our daughter and me. She arrived early and I am so grateful for the coaching we have received from Miss Kristin in the AussieRoo class. This has really helped us with her motor skills and she is now so brave and strong. I love seeing her smile when she tries something new. Miss Leslie teaches our Kindermusik class. Our daughter loves music and exploring new sounds and instruments. There are so many songs and activities we have learned in class that we find ourselves enjoying as part of our daily routine at home. I will be so sad when we outgrow these classes, but will look forward to trying some of the other music programs they offer. read more

I can not say enough about this wonderful program. My daughter is 21/2 and has been attending A Child's Song at her school once a week for the past year and the growth has been astounding! My daughter now identifies the various instruments she hears in songs like horns and maracas. I have even noticed her confidence with speaking out loud improve and I believe a large part of this is due to Ms. Angila, her fabulous teacher. Ms. Angila goes above and beyond with her monthly progress updates and responses to questions, it is simply wonderful. Can't wait for piano lessons! read more

I had a reservation for the gym time/kindermusik class and I could not find the facility, as it is not easy to get to. I called 3 times before class started to try and get directions, no one answered. When we finally arrived, the class had about 20 min left of the 1 hour class. I was charged the full amount for the class even though we got there towards the end. I wish they would be as quick to answer their phone as they are to collect payment! The woman in charge of the class was fully aware I was lost and attempted to call several times to get directions, but this didn't seem to matter. Don't waste your time. read more

My son has been going to music class for over a year and loves it! We've made great friends with the other kids and parents in the class. Kristen, the owner, is wonderful and very flexible with the classes. If we can't make it to music, she lets us go to AussieRoo instead. read more
