A Christmas Moment is a new pop up store, located on the 2nd floor of Santa Anita Westfield Mall, between Bearology and Sunglass Hut. Just in time for the holidays, this place opened on November 2nd. This evening, as I was enjoying my drink from Bearology, I noticed all of the cute little ornaments at A Christmas Moment and told my husband that I thought it would be nice to pick up an ornament for my new nephew (he was born on Valentine's Day). I really loved all of the cute little ornaments that I saw and was thinking how there was an ornament for everyone I knew (especially for those that have just about everything and not sure what else you can buy them for Christmas). There were ornaments that were for couples, families of 3, families of 4, ornaments for pets (I really was considering getting an ornament for my little girl dog), ornaments that are for specific occupations (including doctors, dentists, nurses, food servers, a manicurist, a hair dresser and a veterinarian), ornaments for those in sports, ornaments for those expecting (a baby....), baby ornaments, etc. Most ornaments range from $12.99- $13.99, prior to tax (personalization is included). When I saw the 2017 blue baby ornament (also available in pink), I knew that, that was the ornament I had to get for my nephew (here's hoping my brother and sister in law get a tree this year). I ended up getting 2 of these ornaments becasue I also wanted to get one for a good friend of mine who had her first child (a boy) a few weeks after my nephew was born. So I brought these ornaments over to the register. This employee told me that I could do a few things with the ornaments. She said that I could have the baby's name written on the hat and then have a message written on the white ribbon on the bottom of the ornament or I could just have the baby's name written on the white ribbon. Not realizing that I could have the name on the hat, I opted for that option. So on the hat, the baby's name was written and on the ribbon, I had "1st Christmas" written. The price of these 2 ornaments cost me $28.45 after tax. I was told that it would take 5-10 minutes and will need to have my receipt with me for pick up. I told her that I was just sitting at the chairs directly across from this pop up and said I will just come back. When she was done, this friendly employee came up to me and told me that my ornaments were ready. I really am very happy and pleased with the handwritting and personalization. I am so excited to give these gifts to my family and to my friends and can't wait to see their faces when they open these special keepsake gifts. By the way, all sales are final (no exchanges or returns). There is also a special that if you purchase 5 ornaments, you can get 1 free (but they are a bit pricey, so purchasing 5 is bit out of my reach but maybe not for you because you are so fancy and thoughtful). read more

This place has so many cute ornaments!!! There's gingerbread family, a group of snowmen, the hot chocolate marshmallows, etc...and to top it all, they personalize their ornaments!! It'll be a special one-of-a-kind ornament just for you, and it also make perfect gifts for family members, friends and teachers too The workers were super helpful and friendly...they helped guide me through all the ornaments and the order process...when I picked up my order, my ornament was safely packed in a bubble-wrapped bag inside a festive red bag and the writings were so neat and clear. This little store had a wide selection of ornaments to choose from. I get an ornament every year for my niece and nephews and usually if I want a personalized ornament, I spend a fortune!! But these were very reasonably priced and I was able to ask for whatever writing I wanted! The owners were so so helpful and attentive and explained to me all the different displays so I could navigate the selections easier. I intended to buy a few ornaments but ended up buying six ornaments because there were all so cute and figured I could gift them to people!! And the ornaments came out even better than I expected in nice handwriting, wrapped safely inside bubble wrap in a cute red gift bag!! I hope they are there again next year!! read more

The personalization that can be applied to each ornament is fantastic and beautiful. Looking at other reviews, I agree that the price is absolutely spot on for the quality of what you get. They're actually cheaper than many other ornaments that we've bought over the years from other vendors or Amazon, and those weren't nearly as nice or personalized! We have lots of friends and families to buys gifts for. We didn't know what to get that would be meaningful, long lasting, a keepsake that says we care, until we saw the beautiful personalized ornaments at A Christmas Moment. The staff was helpful, the ornaments were perfect for kids and adults, the personilized writing is perfectly done in a very artistic way. You could tell, they really cared they had your order the way you wanted it. We went back for more when our cousins told us how they loved their early Christmas gifts.
