Not knowing a good mover here I decided to look them up and was impressed with the reviews. I called and spoke to Frank the owner and he was very professional, knew exactly where my storage place was and we arranged a date to meet. 4 guys showed up, all in company shirts, very polite! These guys were amazing, I immediately felt comfortable having OnTime take it from there. They also arrived in 2 trucks with company name professionally on their trucks! These guys were so careful with everything and protected floors, doors and never tried to take a shortcut. I also felt they were very reasonable in what they charged. On Time Moving was of course on time. Two gentlemen, Richard and Louis moved us from PGA West to Palm Desert. They were so nice, thoughtful, and efficient. Truly enjoyed seeing them work well together and often laughing. We had very heavy furniture and exercise equipment and they made it look effortless. They were very clean and organized. After unloading the truck at new home they asked me to inspect the truck to be sure they removed all the items. Of course they unloaded my belongings but the inside of truck was already spotless- all the blankets they used to wrap my furniture was all neatly folded and plastic shrink wrap all together to be discarded. I just picked these guys because I saw their sign near my home and was going to get a quote moving me from SunCity Palm Desert, CA. to a 1bedroom in Indio. To my surprise, without much notice they were available for the day I needed. They asked how big my place was and I I said it was just a Casita and I would be moving to a 1 bedroom. They said they'd be there at 9:00 a.m. and they were very prompt. I was still packing and boxing stuff and they jumped right in, were organized, very courteous and everything. Yet again: WOW. Just used On Time for a household move from Palm Springs to San Diego, including my 6'6" Yamaha grand piano and multiple large potted plants, and a huge, unwieldy sofa. The On Time team was fantastic. Frank, the owner, came for a look before providing the price. He was super knowledgeable and assured me that even the plants could go. We had several phone/text interactions, and he promptly provided the insurance documents required at our new HOA. For the actual move (across two days), lead Reynaldo and his team were on time and got the whole place loaded--including the piano and difficult furniture. They wrapped all furniture with great care. The few odds and ends we were still struggling to pack--the team just made them disappear into boxes and onto the truck. The move-in at the new condo went super smoothly, including getting many items up to the second level via stairs, and never a complaint! The crew was polite and impeccable in their every move. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They took advantage of my husband as a disabled veteran. Their terms were not discussed with competency or full transparency about what they offered as service for long distance moves. When the final invoice was discussed, they'd added on almost $2,000 more to our bill due to forgetting to include our boxes on the original contract. I asked for them to produce the audio of the phone call discussing the original contract with my husband and they hesitated to do so. We had the good fortune to find Frank and his On Time Moving company 2 years ago when a remodeling project created the need to put all the furnishings in storage, including a grand piano. They came "on time" and efficiently moved the truckload to a storage facility. The remodel finally done we now got to arrange with Frank the return of the furnishings. Because of all the logistics (the return included video call directions of where to place the furniture) Frank offered to return with the piano when things had settled and I would be present and offered additional help with moving furniture to different locations in the house if needed. I also moved two office locations over the years, and they did those jobs as well. They are incredibly hard working and take such great care of all my things.
