When I called to schedule my move I was quoted a price over the phone for 2 men at 5 hours. We scheduled a date and time which I was asked to confirm via text with the response of 'Perfect' and was confirmed by phone the day before the move. The first man showed up with the truck and within minutes informed me that more time would be needed to accomplish the move. They did NOT do a complete move out, just the furniture and large items and the new location was only 8 miles away. When all was done, I was charged for an additional 2 hours. Advice for people that are planning a move, insist that you get an in person price quote and get it in writing. read more

We couldn't be more impressed with the professionalism and genuine kindness of the gentleman that helped us move from Santa Ana to Palm Springs. Josh and Fabio were a class act. They loaded, transported and delivered our belongings with care and caution. Nice guys moving but holy moly under resourced. Sent two guys (a younger guy and a much older gentleman) to do a move where it should have been four. I paid two additional people to assist because it would have taken 14 hours with just two people. We watched the older gentleman drop items, bounce into walls, and damage our house and items on the move. When I reached out it was back and forth for days with Fabio with no resolution because "we had non-professional movers assisting". Unfortunately it was one of their guys that kept missing the step down / step up in our house. Paid them full in good faith that there would be resolution. Was told there was insurance but never received that information because it would increase their premium. We will have to pay almost 1000$ to fix furniture that was dropped and the flooring/walls in the house. Rough experience, not worth the headache for us. read more

I used "Two Strong Guys" on November 1, 2020. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to write this review if anyone out there was harmed by this company. This was the first time I ever hired movers, instead of doing the job myself, but my husband passed away and I was forced to move quickly. This was a HORRIBLE experience! Fabio had quoted a price of $1,400 and was told exactly how big the house was, what needed to be moved, and that there were a couple of heavy items, like a piano. I agreed to the price. The truck arrived about 30 minutes late, but they couldn't get started until the second mover got there an hour later. These two guys, however, were extremely pleasant (I believe their names were Jamie and Caesar). However, when the lead guy, Phil, arrived, I was told they couldn't do the job and he told his guys to unload their truck. I stopped them and spoke to the owner on the phone who told me the job was too big. After dickering back and forth, he finally agreed to move furniture only and no boxes (or anything else). So, they moved MOST of the furniture. The entire time, Phil treated me with disdain with a machismo attitude who thought women were trash and to be bullied. Oh, and, he treated his guys like they were little trash minions which got one of them injured when he pushed them through the doorway while they were moving my dresser. When they arrived at my new home, Phil refused to take anything off the truck until I handed $1,400 cash to him (which wasn't previously agreed to). Luckily, I had the cash on hand, in order to pay the demanded ransom for my belongings. After all was said and done, they took a chunk off the front of my china cabinet. They didn't wrap anything or use furniture blankets, or anything to protect my belongings. They scratched my dresser in several places. They scratched every single one of my bookcases and broke the lights (and the shelf holding them) off of two bookcase (which cannot be repaired). They damaged something on my motorcycle making it so that it will not roll more than one foot before the back break engages. They scratched my armoir. I could go on and on about damages! They left behind cans of beer in my front yard and the rest of my house which I had to hire more people to help me move. I had to gather everything in the middle of rooms, just to get going on renovations so that I could sell the house. I'm glad so many others have had good experiences (based on reviews). They must have payed through the nose for this company to respect them and their property so much. read more

These guys were great. I had a smaller move and Fabio fit me in between jobs. The guys showed up early (that never happens) Raul & Dominic were fantastic. The items although few were awkard and heavy. They adeptly got everything loaded and protected. They got to the destination and unloaded so efficiently. They were also patient as I had to have them move things around a couple of times. It also was 110 degrees that day and that didn't slow them down. His pricing was affordable and more than fair! Not an easy move to Marina del Rey because the streets are narrow, and parking is very difficult, but they pulled it off. Hired Fabio and his crew last month to move us from La Quinta to Northern California. They were on time, and packed our 3 bedroom, 3 bath house in about 6 hours. Due to heavy snow, both I-5 and the Tehachapi pass were closed but his driver managed to get through on the coastal route to still make our delivery on time the next day. They set up all of our furniture and placed boxes in the right rooms which made our job unpacking a lot easier. We didn't have a single item broken or damaged! Horrific customer service. Would never use them again. I initially went with Two Strong Men because they were $50 cheaper than Big Guys Delivery Services (https://www.bigguysdeliveryservices.com/), but I should have gone with Big Guys from the beginning. We had purchased a credenza on Facebook Marketplace and needed help moving it to our house, so we reached out to Two Strong Men. Given that we were moving it from a stranger's house to ours, we needed to coordinate a time that worked for them, us, and the movers. We set a time and I even sent Fabio a text to confirm the night before, which he did. As we were on our way to the stranger's house to meet the movers, I got a text saying that Fabio's guys were moving late and would not be there. There was no apology, no call - just a text. I called Fabio and he said he had no update or idea when his guys would be able to meet. Again, there was no apology, no offer for a discount, etc. I understand sh*t happens and they might be running late, but there was no information I could share with the people we were buying the credenza from or when we would be able to meet them. I sent Fabio a text and called him back 45 minutes later and he didn't answer the phone or respond to the text. As you can see in Fabio's text to me, he said that his guys would be able to move it today, but this was a lie as they were going to be over 3 hours late and the community in which we were picking up the credenza doesn't allow vendors past 5pm. Do yourself a favor and use Big Guys Delivery Services. Alex at Big Guys is super responsive and helpful. read more

I finally had it with Absolute Storage high storage prices raising them every two months - so, I had four days to move but the swelling 115 heat, could not find helpers and Absolute Storage would not let me work in the middle of the night - a senior - I got heat Stroked and Sick. I called Fabio whom said he had two of his men that would be able to load the truck for me. At first, I thought I would just pay for extra time but then I surrender to having them load the truck. WOW!! all my stuff was loaded in one day and I had 24 hours more to get what would not fit. Raul and his cozine were extremely professional. All my things were stuffed in the Uhaul. I dealt with Fabio over the course of a month. I wanted to move two refrigerators from one locale to another. The distance was less than a half mile. The move was pretty specific as far as the date. On the date, Fabio had a big job, but assured me he was able to do the switch at 4:00. The guys were extremely nice and the switch went smoothly. Refrigerators were handled with care. I was happy and the price that was quoted was the price I paid! One thing I would like to mention about movers...despite the cost, the men deserve a tip..These two guys worked hard, we're polite and friendly and despite some space issues were very accommodating. They told me they came from a big job...got no tip , no offer of water, etc. Why treat folks that way? I highly recommended this company to a friend....and recommend them here as well! read more

Fabio, I left your company a review on June 6th that you responded immediately with several discriminating comments. You mentioned that i falsely submitted an insurance claim for the damage to my car while in transport. My car was inspected prior to the move You in fact had mentioned when i showed you my car how well it was taken care of. I even alerted you of the damage with pictures right after it as dropped off once I saw the damaged area in the sunlight. Yes. The damage was paid for and you were thanked The next commentwas that i was probably looking for a free move! I I paid you $10,000 for the move and Never Thought, or gave any indication of any refund! I only wanted the lost/ misplaced items they may have gotten mixed up with the other customers items that were incorporated with my move.. The next comment was I'm sorry for you and you hope I get some help The last time you indicated such was on 9/22/22 when you said I was an unhappy person! I knew you only as a vendor Never before. The comments you've left all fall into a Defamation of Character! You've attacked my credibility right down to my mental state of being. Probably to make you look like you your company never makes a mistake. Well, my biggest mistake was telling you I was a recent Widow. I called these guys last minute - hours before our move from Los Angeles To Yucca Valley. They got back to me almost instantly and were very polite and nice on the phone. They had the best rates in town and I really liked their attitude. I kept pushing them back hour after hour because my move was hectic.
