What a great company to handle your move! Steve Labrano provided an estimate for our local move in Palm Springs. Steve is professional, prompt and puts you at ease with his knowledge of moving, and readily answered any questions, prior to the move. He even personally dropped off wardrobe and moving boxes the week before the move. Moving day, the crew showed up within the arrival window, and got right to work upon arrival. Our hats are off to Tony, Jaime, and Fernando. Great team and took great care when wrapping our furniture, and to care not to nick walls or the furniture. The guys kept us informed during the loading and unloading process. Tony made sure we walked through both residences together to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. The man inside begrudgingly came and let me in, did not introduce himself at all and I still don't know his name he told me he was the only one working there for the past two weeks and he closes early because he has a 15 minute checklist that he needs to go through before he leaves. So even though the time says open until 6 PM they actually close at like 540. I'm not a complicated person I'm not a take a long time kind of guy so I was fully prepared to just sign some documents and be on my way. I knew it was close to closing time and I wasn't going to take up this man's time more than like three minutes, but instead he had to sit me down at his desk as if I was a student in trouble and proceed to dump on me about how he's the only one that's there and even though I was told by the Customer Service people over the phone to just come in to discuss a lock situation (cause you need a super special cylinder lock which they alone have the master key to which I don't find comforting at all and so I attached two of my own locks to my unit.) apparently I should have known beforehand not to listen to the Customer Service people over the phone which he proceeded to drill me about as well. At this point I had about enough and I was just wanting to move into my unit and get things started so my patience was thin and I finally cut this man off and I said "OK what do I need to do to just move in right now" and he told me that I could sit in my car out in the 110° heat and do everything online because his checklist. I was completely insulted, I went outside and started a online check-in which I would've done beforehand again had the person over the phone at Customer Service not told me to "just come in" to see if I can get the lock price ($20) removed so while I was doing this out in the 110 degree heat, the move-in special suddenly disappeared so I tried calling them, I was person number one in line and I had zero people ahead of me and Customer Service would be with me momentarily. I listened to this and sat there for 20 minutes while it told me I was number one in line and zero people ahead of me. During this time I went online to chat to Customer Service on there which to my dismay was only a basic function AI bot. ** just a quick note to companies you really need to stop putting these bots as your main point of contact and making it so impossible to get a hold of someone, these bots are nothing more than redirection hyperlinks with an algorithm meant to direct you to different parts of the website in case you're too stupid to find them on your own. If it was something I could solve on my own I would just do it. You need to stop Underestimating the everyday Customer and make it more simple to just contact a live person, and also by the way making the bot take a couple seconds before it gives iT's algorithm Answer doesn't convince us anymore that it's a Human typing out an Answer, It just infuriates us** off my soapbox. So by the time all was said and done I managed to just work around it open a new browser in incognito mode go and managed to find the promotion again, paid the stupid lock fee because, whatever at this point, and moved into my unit. Oh but I should also add before doing so, I actually had to drive away to go charge my car because this whole process took so long and I had to run the AC the whole time because the 110° heat. The facility itself is actually not bad there's a sense of creepy atmosphere after the sun goes down when you're outside but for the most part it's very secure inside, people cannot hop from one paddock to the other via the ceiling which happens at a lot of these places. this was just my personal experience and my review of it, I did decide to stay at the unit because I was very happy with overall facility I sincerely hope my experience is not your experience. read more

I spoke to the owner Stephen several times and ended up hiring him to have his crew come to Orange County to move us to Palm Desert. He sent two large trucks and six very well qualified and coordinated men to move us. It went like clockwork. These men were all in sync with each other. They took excellent care of our high-end expensive furniture and I can't say enough for their attitude the way they communicate communicated with us. My husband and I recently purchased a new home during a whirlwind decision and needed to find a mover fast! We saw all the great reviews and requested a quote even though we thought it would probably be on the high end. It was actually quite competitive so it was a no-brainer to hire them. They showed up on time (a little early, actually) and did not waste any time whatsoever. Everything was handled professionally and we did not encounter even one item being damaged. 17 missing items after move: I hired Labrano's Family Moving & Storage for a move on August 20, 2025, involving the contents of my 10x15 storage unit in Palm Desert. Everything was packed inside one clearly defined storage unit. What should have been a simple local move turned into a major problem. After the delivery, I discovered that 17 items that were inside the storage unit before pickup never arrived at my home. Missing items include: 1. Wooden sewing box 2. White 3-ft vase with six 6-ft bamboo sticks 3. Screw-on top lampshade 4. Pottery Barn white table lamp with solid bronze base 5. Additional table lamp 6. Two faux 9-ft decorative trees with potted planters 7. Sharper Image air purifier with ozone function 8. Presto Heat Dish 9. Full All-Clad pots and pans set 10. One key (out of two) for a 200-year-old Chinese chest 11. Five out of six wall art pieces 12. Bodum French press 13. Twelve Montauk all-feather-down pillows with cotton covers 14. Two original Tuscan oil pastel paintings 15. White Wii U console 16. Brand-new Dyson vacuum cleaner in its box 17. DeWalt automatic electric drill I followed the company's instructions and submitted a detailed loss/damage claim. The response I received did not address the missing items or any of the documentation I provided. Instead of offering any help or solution, the reply was dismissive and unproductive. There is no reasonable explanation for how so many items from one contained 10x15 storage unit simply did not arrive. This was not a complicated move, yet I was left with a significant amount of missing property and no meaningful assistance from the company. The very best moving service we've ever used. They arrived earlier than the planned time, safely wrapped up everything, and loaded everything in a timely manner despite our heavy furniture and old location having many stairs and difficult corners. All three men were exceedingly friendly, polite, professional, and accommodating. They unloaded everything fast and placed it all where directed. I've used them exclusively over the past 6 years, probably 6 different times, because they were always well priced, and never had quality or timing issues. The crews were always great. But this last time, they disappointed me; they broke the tracks on nearly every drawer of my dresser because they moved it with the drawers in place, they neglected to reassemble the daybed frame and left the mattress outside, and left the legs off of the queen bed. It's been a week and we haven't heard back yet from Steve regarding the broken dresser. read more

He was professional and communicative and so easy to deal with all my date changes and answered all my questions. I never doubted for a minute I would have a great experience. His quote was clean and easy. No hidden fees! The movers Brian and Alex were on time - professional - clean cut and fast. Everything was perfect - as expected. They knew how to take apart the furniture and put it back together - they moved it perfectly. I was truly amazed. There was a little hiccup when a box fell and made a couple of small nicks on the wall during the move in and surprisingly - Steve offered to repair it himself! Four years ago, Labrano's Moving helped us relocate to Indio from the San Bernardino mountains. They did such a great job that we hired them recently to move us out of California and into Arizona. Tony, Fernando, Carlos, Alex, and Eric did a great job. They were organized, on time, and meticulous about disassembling desks prior to the move. They also got us to our new home the same day AND unloaded AND reassembled all the furniture. It was a long day for all of us, but these guys are pros. The only advice I have for them is to tape the screws inside the drawers when they take things apart, like desks,. The screws for my vanity mirror went missing, but it wasn't a big deal because we had the right size in our tool box. Great company that delivers on its promises. They won't be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Every other company wanted to charge us overnight storage and deliver our belongings the next day. Not Labrano. Everything was loaded in one city, transported to another, and put inside our home the same day. Highly recommended! read more
