I did a quick google search to find a couple of companies to contact for a quote for tinting some…read morewindows in my home. Phoenix Home Window Tinting was my second call, with the idea that I would get a competitive bid to make sure that I was getting a fair price and product. They scheduled my estimate, I left work a little early to make sure that I could be there on time, and unfortunately, they were an hour late. I get business happens, but a call would go a long way to let the customer know what to expect. I did try to call after 30 minutes late to get a status update, and unfortunately could only speak to an AI operator. When the estimator did show up at my house, I had to inform him that I did have another appointment to get to, so I would not be able to do the estimate. While he was not rude, he was clearly agitated with me, when all I did was leave work early to try and get a quote to potential use their business, and was left hanging for an hour with no update. Based off the overall service and attitude of the estimator, I will not be using this company and will continue my search. I see a lot of great reviews for this company, my experience was definitely not of equal experience. I am changing this review to a 3 star from a 1 star because the owner did contact me. We did not come to an agreement about my experience today and I will be continuing my search, but you can tell that she does pay attention to her business and I just want to chalk this up to the law of averages. I do hope that this was the exception, and not the rule and wish them the best of luck moving forward.

It's crazy to have rooms that are SO hot during the day, have the film coating installed, and feel immediate heat relief once installed. Contacted Ryan on Nov 16 with concerns about distortion to passenger side window and was told to it may take a week for it to look normal. Contacted Ryan on November 17 with concerns about contamination and was told to bring in a week later, but Ryan was sick and the next week was Thanksgiving so I wasn't able to make it out until December 1 due to my schedule. During this time tint cured and was left with moderate contamination on all windows but one. The passenger front window along with the upper right windshield were distorted. At this time I just wanted my money back for the poor workmanship and was having to argue with Ryan outside his driveway in front of neighbors (he does the work out of his house garage). I told him I would just eat the cost of everything and have wherever I go take pictures of his work and would take him to small claims court. He got upset at this of course and agreed to refund me 75% of the money paid for work. Ryan seemed to believe the rest of his work and product were acceptable. At this time agreed on the 75% refund just to have to stop arguing with someone who doesn't own up to their bad workmanship. Fast forward a week to me going to an Auto Cosmetic shop to have Ryan's tint job removed and replaced with quality product and workmanship. As they started they called me out to look at razor cuts on all my window seals and cuts into the glass. This is something I never knew to look for and so I contacted Ryan again on Dec 8 to inform him of the cuts and he called me a liar and says he doesn't know who's been in my car since it's been 3 weeks since he installed the tint. Ryan, I'm not a liar and I just don't tell stories. You told me we already looked at the car on the Dec 1 and I never said anything about the cuts to seals or glass. Again this is because I wasn't looking for this. Just because someone says they have 25-30 years experience doesn't mean they're good at their job or they don't take shortcuts or who thinks bad workmanship is acceptable. Good luck if you use Ryan!
