Even though we didn't connect until late afternoon, Julio was there to start the restoration work that very same night--on a Friday, no less! Throughout the entire engagement, both he and his crew were extremely courteous and professional, taking great care to limit the impact and disruption of the restoration work. Julio was very generous in answering all the questions I had and provided excellent guidance when he knew it would be of value. Despite having a packed schedule, Mike came out to our property on a Friday morning so he could measure the damaged area and give us at least a ballpark idea of what we would be charged to see if we could still close on buying this house Friday afternoon. He was prompt, polite, and honest. He truly sought to give me the best service while staying as reasonable with price as possible. He was in constant communication with me and my mold inspector (Staci with EnviolCore, which is another glowing review). Shane came out and contained, remediated, and also kept in close communication with me. He also was fair and honest and understood we were on a budget. We had a flood in our basement due to a massive rain and hail storm. We called them the day of the storm, and they were at our house the next morning. His team was professional and helpful in getting fans and dehumidifers going in our home and within a few days our soaked basement was dry as a bone. They did demo work for us pulling out drywall and baseboards, and left the home as clean as possible when they were done. Effrem even went above and beyond with a small issue we had. I would recommend them to anyone that has a flood in their home. I hope I don't need to call them again, but if I do have another flood, I would call Effrem again for sure. HOWEVER- I arrived at the final walkthrough at the scheduled time, and they were still not done clearing out their supplies. This was okay and I assumed more work would be done. When I returned to my home later that day I was appalled. There was brown liquid spilled on the cabinets and floors, paint spilled on the floors, stairs & countertops, outlet covers missing (still not found), painter's tape still stuck to the walls & baseboards, and sunflower seeds littered across EVERY single floor in the house (including the in the carpet and the bathtub). I am shocked at the way the house was left and how sloppy this was. This was not the condition that it was supposed to be left in. I had a showing the next morning so had to spend over 3 hours cleaning it. I contacted the manager about it and received a $275 discount. They did offer to come back over and "take care of these items" but I had no time to let them come back so I had to take care of it myself. For how much I paid to for this to be done I expected way more from this company. I will not be using this company again.

We have used A Cleaner Carpet for over 3 years for our carpet cleaning needs as well as having them clean our air vents and they have consistently done an excellent job. The last time our carpets were cleaned was the week before Thanksgiving. Company coming and they were able to work us in the schedule. Our technician arrived on time and did an outstanding job . He was very professional and took the time to know what our special concerns were for the carpet cleaning. He was able to get some long-standing stains out from around our dining room table and gave us some guidance on stain removal in the future. He also paid special attention to the cold air return vent area which seems to deposit dirt on the carpet. . Our carpet is a light neutral taupe color and looked like new after the cleaning was done. He even left us with two pairs of booties for our shoes in the event we would need to walk on the carpet while it was still damp. . Reasonably priced and we were very satisfied with the results . A year or so ago we also had them clean our air vents - there was a noticeable reduction in dust in our home after that was done. I highly recommend A Cleaner Carpet and have referred them to a number of our friends. read more

Over the years it seemed like the more I had my carpets cleaned the faster they got dirty. Everyone told us that they would remove any residue from the cleaning so there wouldn't be anything left behind to attract dirt, however, within a few weeks the carpets would start to show dirt. In our new home we just decided we weren't going to clean the carpets unless we had no other choice. After 5 years they still looked great, but we knew we needed to have them cleaned even though they looked fine. It was a big decision, however, I heard Steve Moran talking to a trade group and he explained why most carpet cleaners left residue behind and went on to explain why his company was different, We had Steve and his crew out to do our house while we are away on vacation, when we came home we were amazed at great everything looked. The best part is they still look great several months later. I would definitely recommend A Cleaner Carpet. They aren't a bargain basement company, but they are definitely worth the price. read more

If you are looking to have the carpet in your home or offce cleaned, these are the folks to call! They will be honest with you about what needs to be done and what they can do. I have also referred them to several people and every person that uses them is so happy with the job done. They do a fantastic job and at a reasonable price. This is a tremendous company. I have used the carpet cleaning with great results, however the Flood Masters mitigation team is truly OUTSTANDING. I called and called but no one could be there before this weekend. It was Tuesday evening and the water had flooded on Saturday. The owner was great. I had to wait a few days to schedule because they were busy (probably because they do good work). But when they came they couldn't believe the job the other company did either! But Jordan said they would work on it and do their best. He was very nice, even after having to wait for me to get there. Our carpet is 11 years old, and they were able to get out nearly all the old dirt on the traffic areas and everywhere else. I have a tween girl at home, who has done "little projects" in her room. When the other company left, her floor looked like a confetti cupcake, little bits of color various places on the carpet. But when these guys cleaned it, it almost all came out. Just a couple of very light spots left. And I know for sure one of them was kool-aid! The guy worked so hard. I saw him doing the steps and could see the billows of steam coming off the carpet, so I know they really had good heated steam, not just warm tap water. They also cleaned our couch and loveseat, and except for a couple little stains they look great too! I have found a new carpet cleaner, and I am so happy!

She let me know it was $20-$30 per linear foot. I sent over the exact dimensions of my couch and asked for confirmation that this project would be $260 at $20/ft. She replied and confirmed this pricing an estimate. Fast-forward to today and our cleaner (who was absolutely wonderful and had nothing to do with this) let me know that the project would be $25 per foot and that is the only option offered. Now, this isn't a crazy difference In price, but I feel extremely misled from my email exchanges with Katy about the price. I gave Katy a call while our cleaner was here to clear up any confusion about the price. She didn't answer for 15 minutes. When she did answer, She immediately got defensive over the email exchange sighting that I was being hypothetical about the price for the project. I told her that she confirmed the $20 per foot at $260 and she was not apologetic about the confusion and instead was aggressive with me, saying that I was putting words in her mouth. I asked her if they could do this for $20 per foot as she noted in the email, otherwise I was not gonna move forward. She said that she was gonna look into it, but then completely switched up and told me that she just didn't want to do the project anymore even while the cleaner was there, wasting my time and his. Economically say that I have never had such a bad interaction with a business before nonetheless a local business that I wanted to support. I truly cannot believe 1) the business was willing to mislead me on a price when I felt I was very clear in my email exchange and 2) treated me the way they did on that phone call. I work in marketing, and work with a lot of consumer complaints and questions. Even if you don't agree with the customer, it's important to hear them out, understand where things could've been misinterpreted and offer a solution. The fact that she didn't do any of this and instead attacked me and just cancelled the job while the cleaner was there was absolutely absurd. Again, none of this has to do with the cleaner himself as he was wonderful and tried his best offer resolutions so we could get the job done. My complaint is specifically about the office manager, Katy. I hope that this business can take this seriously and really learn treat their customers with respect. If they reply to this is anything like the reaction over the phone, they're going to be defensive and say that I'm in the wrong. If that's the case, they truly did not learn from this review.
