Bagnall was outstanding. I had a medicine spill. It was clear medicine and I thought I had cleaned it up. In a few days it turned red. I called another carpet cleaning company and they worked on it and said they couldn't get the stain out. I was referred to Bagnall from a carpet sales person. First Karl came over to look and determine what was needed. He was great, friendly and professional. He assured me they could get the stain out. Either by cleaning, patching or dying. Then Patrick came and actually cleaned the area and it is great. I though I was going to have to replace the whole room. Patrick was great. I had my carpets cleaned a year ago by a less expensive company and the job was so so. Then I used Bagnal. A stain from water from leaky roof (now fixed) was difficult to remove but Bagnal came back twice to work on it at no extra charge and the cream colored carpet looks great. Also, my dog had an accident on just cleaned carpet and Mike came back and took care of it at no charge! I highly rate this company. I have used them repeatedly and found Adam does a really good job. I must say I requested Adam and they sent someone else. Seems like this is usually not a good sign so it was hesitant on proceeding. The guy did a good job. I had to pay for spot cleaning. I figured I would pay for my stairs, and the spot cleaning was included. He got all technical explaining that area is a 4x4 area only and it is a $100 minimum. Oh. Somehow this wasn't feeling right. He attached to my bathroom faucet. He did a good job in my master where he cleaned the perimeter. The office spots were removed and the carpet looked good. The stairs didn't come nearly as clean as Adam gets them. Then the living room spot in front of the couch still has a grey shadow. He said he went over it twice. I just had all my carpets cleaned in May. I paid for scotch guarding! I'm not thrilled but it will do. I will cover the spot with a rug. So Adam would have cleaned up the water on the floor in the bathrooms and under the stairs after cleaning. He also left a huge puddle in my garage in front of the stairs. I had to ask for booties and he gave me a pair and then the two he had on his feet, dirty so I turned them inside out and dealt with the toe hole all night. Next time I will turn away anyone but Adam. Nice family man, very thorough, works super hard and puts you at ease. Normally I would have given them 5 stars but I was initially set up when whom I requested did not show when I was told absolutely. Update: Mr. Bagnall called me and wanted to check to see if there was anything he could do to rectify the situation. He also expressed he didn't know why Adam wasn't sent and wished I would have called immediately. I will upgrade one star for the follow up and willingness to resolve any issue. read more

THIS ONE FOR SURE!!! A neighbor in my community recommended this family-owned business. I have had bad results with previous companies including the big names like Stanley Steemer. So I was excited to not only employ the services of a family-owned company but one that had great reviews on the web. Well, my choice was spot-on. The gentleman John who came over was not only nice and professional he worked harder than any other carpet cleaner I've ever seen. He paid so much attention to detail in every one of our bedrooms where the carpet was. And it came out beautiful!! Then he turned to the ceramic tile and grout in my very large Kitchen and spent a ton of time scrubbing on his hands and knees and using the tools to get it sparkling. A landlady friend of mine referred Bagnall to me as she was happy with the quality of their work at her properties. So I got a quote from Bagnall and it was lower than other quotes I received. With respect to the cleaning work itself, the technician assigned to me, John Oates, not only cleaned my carpet really well, but also went the extra mile! I left a few electrical fans on the kitchen countertop of the house planning to use them to help the carpet dry after cleaning. I didn't say a word to John about these fans - they were never in his scope of work. When I returned to the house after John was done, I was most surprised to find them placed at different sections of the house, moving air around the house at maximum speed! I was not expecting that but I totally appreciated it. Communication in the whole process was smooth and clear. I'd highly recommend Bagnall. read more

Received a quote over the phone and scheduled their service. Upon their arrival and verification of the rugs to be cleaned, they provided a quote that was 30% higher or roughly $500 more. They made excuses, but I don't like that kind of sales approach. My suggestion is simply, "Beware"! read more

We had a major disaster when a full bottle of wine was broken on a very expensive, hand crafted wool rug. Bagnall services were recommended by our friends who had used them for oriental rugs. We were not disappointed. When the 20 plus year old rug was returned it looked new. No trace of the wine stain anywhere. The service was prompt and delivered on time. We had Bagnall out for our regular, yearly carpet cleaning. We've been using them for several years now. Jim always does a great job. This time, there was the unfortunate mishap of an equipment failure while Jim was outside at his truck. Water flowed for several minutes, unbeknownst to either Jim or me, and it soaked all the way down to the sub-floor. This was NOT due to any negligence ..... just one of those frustrating things that happens with machinery from time to time. I'm SO HAPPY to report that both Jim & Mike Bagnall got right on this and spent the next several days rectifying the problem (pulling back the carpet, drying out the sub-flooring, replacing the wet padding and then putting it all back together again so it looks good as new.) And then re-cleaning the carpet! We received GREAT customer service from Bagnall and are extremely pleased with the way they handled our case. We will continue using them in the future, knowing that they are people of integrity. And they do a fantastic job of caring for carpet! read more

So disappointing, if I could give zero stars, I would. Just got off the phone with the owner, Mike who only made the problem worse. Bagnalls cleaned all of the carpet in my house last July while it was furnished. We recently moved out of the house and I just got an estimate to get the carpets cleaned again. I was told it would cost less to get the carpets cleaned this time since the house was empty. So I was surprised when the new estimate was more than last year's. When I called to see why it was more expensive when I was told it would be less, they told me they made a mistake on calculating the costs for 2 of the 5 bedrooms. Mike called me back to tell me what a good deal I got last year because of their mistake - he said it should have been $80 more, as if it was my fault they charged me the wrong price! I just saw that the invoice last year was $848 and that this time around, even though they told me it should be less since the house was empty, was $899. If he had said we made a mistake, but will charge me the same price as last time (even though they told me it would less because it was empty), I probably would have had them clean it again. Instead he kept telling me what a good deal I got because of their mistake! Bagnalls is more expensive compared to other cleaners, but I was happy with the cleaning last year so I thought I'd have them clean again. I did not expected to be treated as if I were a criminal and cheated them because of THEIR mistake of which I was totally unaware. read more
