I have been taking my dog here for years; good service at a reasonable price. I'm always happy with the grooming.

If I could select zero stars I would. I been taking my dogs to this shop for a few years now. I have never been more disappointed or angry about the service received on 5/23/2018. My husband had dropped off both our dogs in the morning and picked them up about noon. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary and nothing was said except what the charge was for the grooming. When he returned home he noticed that one of our dogs had an injury to her ear. Later that day when I saw for myself what her ear looked like I was beyond upset. Her ear was not just injured but was missing a piece. I immediately called the shop and left a voicemail. I expected a phone call in return and by the next day when I did not receive a call I left another voicemail. What I got in return was a text message apologizing for the oversight in not mentioning anything to my husband when the dogs were picked up. I also received a lame explanation that my dog had a small scab on her ear and when they were grooming that area the scab came off and started to bleed. They cleaned the area and applied liquid bandage to our dog. I explained that our dog did not have a previous injury to her ear and that it wasn't just a scab that had come off, literally a piece of her ear was now missing. I immediately sent them a picture and stated that this was no way to conduct business that I expected a voice to voice with someone since they clearly injured my dog. They tried to say that text was way better that way they had the picture to show what they had done. I demanded a refund including the tip I had left and all they would do was return the grooming fee. We had to wait two days to pick up the money we spent and when my husband returned to the shop they didn't even acknowledge him or discuss what had happened. They simply handed him an envelope and went about their business. Needless to say we did not get the $50 we spent to have our dog groomed only the $40 for the service. I will never return to the shop and advise all dog owners to be warned that they do not care about your pets. I have taken my dog to them since I was 15. Before they moved to the location they are currently at. With this being said I drive my dogs all the way from the back of Gilbert to them because I have always had a good experience. Today was not that day and because I am so upset I am writing this review. Never did I think an employee or establishment could be so rude when speaking to a customer. I had already apologized for being late because I got a call 10 minutes before they closed. I stated that on my card it should have been written about give me a call 20-25 minutes before my dog was ready, since I do not live near. I understand they close at 4pm and that was my mistake because I was pretty sure that I asked about the hours and did not recall them saying 4pm. The woman who called was not happy with any response that I gave her. After she fought with me over the call and how it was irrelevant, she said she was going to charge me. I was not aware of this either. Their follow up and appointment setting is non-existent and I always took it for them being busy. Now I see it as neglectful to their customers. Usually reminder calls are a day or two before the appointment and I got mine 1 hour before. Again I understand my responsibility but let's face it some times those reminder calls are everything to busy moms. This why I need the call 20-25 minutes before they close or are done grooming. I love their grooming and on a normal day they are very nice. However since there was so much unprofessionalism in this call, I can't get passed it and am giving it 2 stars. I am sad to say I will have to find another groomer. Although they may be happy with this so I will no longer be late. Sorry again for the miscommunication and I hope things get better with their appointment book keeping. read more

I took my 2 yorkies there a couple of weeks ago for the first time. They hadn't been groomed in about 4 months and spend a lot of time playing outside so they were looking pretty grungy. When I brought them in the owners were working and were so polite and nice. I could tell that my dogs were going to be well taken care of. They put into the system the specifics about how I wanted my dogs groomed and were helpful in explaining the different cuts they could do on yorkies. A few hours later they were ready and they looked great! It was a great deal at $30 each and they looked awesome! I was so pleased I will definitely be bringing my dogs back again. These people tried to hold my dogs hostage and threatened to call the police because they were trying to steal my money! They wanted me to pay $90 for just a BATH! I would never take my dogs here again, the owner was EXTREMELY belligerent! If you love your animals STAY AWAY from this place! read more

I've been meaning to do this for some time now! My four dogs love going here! They march right in, go through the gate and jump right into their crate! The girls do a great job and if your not happy with some thing or want it shorter they take care of it with a smile on their face. Carrie the Manager is awesome! One of my dogs recently moved and got knick with the clippers - not only did I receive a discount off the service she followed up several times to make sure everything was healing okay. I appreciated this very much! Communication is key to getting great service and it is a two way street for not only the groomer but, the dog owner too! We've brought our dogs here a few times now and want to make it a regular thing for them. The staff treat our dogs with care and patience, and we have never had any issues with them. Their hours are perfect and in a nice central location (for Mesa). Our dogs come out of there well-groomed and pampered. Its affordable too! read more

My two small dogs needed a groom, desperately. I was in search of an affordable, but experienced grooming salon and considering their website said $30 for small dog haircuts. I get there, and not even a foot in the door they had this disrespectful 6 year old running up to me, and snatched the leashes from my hands. She belonged to one of the employees, or something, but she continued to drag my dogs around my the neck and NONE of the employees said anything to correct her. Horrible way to introduce a dog to a new environment. They were terrified. I dreaded leaving them there but I already drive an hour out, and hoped nothing bad would happen. When I picked them up, they did not look anything like I had asked. My Maltese had a butchered shave. Her head was not groomed at all and it was completely still long haired. My yorkie's tail was completely shaved down, after I specifically said not to groom or touch her tail. It was botched. Their nails were barely cut, and we're not dulled down. Sharp as knives. When I went to pay, I was expecting to pay $60 because their website said $30 per dog. It added up to $70. I was livid. They argued with me and insisted I was wrong. I was not. The lady at the front desk asked me for a tip. I've never been asked for a tip. It was more of a demand, and I was stunned. So, intending to pay $60, I paid $75 for my dogs' horrible experience and disappointing haircuts. I went $15 over my budget. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. IT IS TRAUMATIZING TO THE DOGS AND I REGRET IT COMPLETELY. Never again! read more

Not sure how this place has a rating at all. My dogs first and only visit - it took them 5 hours to groom her, (was told it would be 2 hours). This is the first place I was not greeted by the groomer, nor did I get any feed back on the grooming. I paid for grooming and was thanked. I said, "I need my dogs collar and leash". Took the girl at check out 10 min to find the groomer, who had left the building. The groomer put my dogs collar, tags and leash on another dog!!! I was told the person who had my items would return them and the shop would deliver it to my home. That's awesome I thought. Well 6 weeks later, multiple phone calls and stopping in the shop I still don't have my items back.The owner Tracie left me several nasty voicemails, yelling at my phone. After 6 weeks of trying to get my stuff back, Tracie told me she donated my collar, tags and leash but would not tell me where. She donated my stolen property and was rude. There is a dog out there with my dogs tags and information !!! (That's if she really did donate them and does not have a side business selling stolen property). Please do not take your dog to this place..Aside all that, the cut was awful, I had to blend my dogs head fur to her neck. She looked like an angry lion. Unfortunately it requires me to give them at least one star but if I could I wouldn't give them any star that's how horrible they are. I read a few reviews that said they were great and so I took my puppy there for a simple bath brush and nail clipping. They told us it would take two hours and we lived kind of far but I went because I want my dog to have the best.so we wanted to waste time instead of just driving home. Two hours isn't too hard to waste time. Well three and a half hours later with no call we decided to go and pick her up. When we got there she hadn't been dried yet and her nails hadn't been trimmed. Needles to say they did a quick dry job and crappy job trimming her nails and missed her dew claws altogether. We went home with a wet dog that I ended up up drying and brushing myself and have to make a different appointment to trim her nails. To top it off we brought our 15.00 leash and they lost it. I still was charged full price. I will never go back and recommend going to a place that's cleaner, smells better (more odor than just wet dog odor), and a place that gives better service to me and my dog. read more
