Seth came out, took his time to actually look at the problem, and figured out it just needed a good cleaning. That was it. He did not try to sell me anything I did not need, did not push unnecessary parts, and was completely upfront with me the whole time. What really stood out was how honest Seth was. He could have easily told me I needed new parts and I would not have known the difference, but instead he fixed it the right way and saved me a good amount of money. On top of that he was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience easy. My stove is working perfectly now and I could not be happier. I would absolutely recommend Discount Appliance Repair to anyone. Seth is the kind of person you want working in your home - honest, skilled, and he actually cares about doing right by the customer. Five stars without question.

Really disappointed in the service and will tell my friends not to use this company they basically said they had seven days to pick it up and kept saying they were sending someone that day They said they would include haul away for the price.. EDIT 2/19/26: I fear that if I had not written my review, they would not have picked up the washer. Frustrating that I even had to write a review..

I bought all new appliances here in 2008. Excellent…read moreservice from Steve. And over the years , naturally, I've had to replace most all over again. I've dealt with Steve, Eric and the owner Jeff. Always professional, courteous and friendly service. Competitive pricing. All my installations have been expertly performed. Refrigerators, dishwashers, microwave, and AC systems. Satisfied with all Especially the split AC system I just had installed. The installers were professional, neat and expert I their work. Very pleased.

I was gifted a Webber BBQ from home appliance in June. Three months into having the BBQ, the flame…read morewould drop off causing a propane build up under the hood of the bbq. Confused as to why my grill stopped heating I touched the knob to see if a friend had maybe turned it off and it led to a big explosion. After contacting Weber, they hit me with a legal waiver and said they won't come fix my practically brand new grill unless I sign it. Home appliance was made aware how ridiculous that request is because all I am asking for is for a professional to come and fix it and they're doing absolutely nothing about it. Really shitty customer service. As a long time resident of Oceanside I hate to bash a local store but the owner Jeffery didn't help at all with the situation. The least he could do is send someone to back their products and warrantee. Since the owner is now trying to turn this situation on me (on my google review) I am adding to my original post. I never threatened to sue, being there is nothing to sue for lmao. They asked me if I got burnt and I was honest and said my eyes and hair were burnt but then responded how grateful I am that no real injuries were a result of the explosion. Get your facts straight home appliance before trying to turn it on me. You sold me a malfunctioning grill and are letting Webber play games with me. Your own employee's exact words were "one thing has nothing to do with the other and they should repair the brand new grill". My advice: purchase from retailers who back the product they sell and if there are issues within the warrantee they honor that. Any other appliance store would take back the BBQ or replace it. All I was asking for is someone to come and fix it. Costco's just around the block and you won't have to deal with this !

Thankfully... places like this still exist!! Recently I had gone on a run of bad luck with…read moreappliances snd other household items breaking pretty much weekly. Now maybe this is because I've been keeping the some appliances around since the early nineties? But who is to say? This particular week the appliance malfeasance happened to involved a broken clothes dryer. After using trial-and-error, some "mens intuition" (joke) and just mayhaps a tiny, bott of YouTube Ptemium (ok... a few videos) I was able to figure out that I needed a new dryer belt. Much to my dismay I KNEW this required a day trip to the ... Home Depot. Now... before I have to turn in my "guy card" I'd like to say... for the record... that I don't mind going to home depot but I DO mind going to Home Depot with the intention of buying one small item! I knew at some point I'd be led around by 2 or 3 people probably in 2 or 3 different directions and MAYBE they would have the belt for my ancient clothes drying machine. In this case... nope not in stock! I know it's hard to tell by my profile and my hip lingo.... but I'm actually 40 years old!!! ' That might be "check mate" for many 40 year olds, but because I'm still in touch with the youth... I knew to get on "Da Amazon" Even with my extensive knowledge of everything hip, including online shopping... I was unable to match the right part number and I could not be sure I'd be getting the right belt. As much as I'd wanted to give up at this point and hit the couch for some NAScar! But..... I was able to recover and stumble across of cross a very convenient and easy answer to my problems that had Already taken up a good part of my early afternoon. Trying to think back to what one once did when something... I was able to find the phone number for AFCO (old school, but works!!) After a 2 minute phone call with a very nice salesman I had learned that the store was 1 town over, they had the exact part needed in stock and they'd be open for a few more hours. (This left time for a mandatory White Castle excursion... But that is a horse for a different rodeo!)I must have passed by this exact location a 1000 times without ever noticing AFCO. was there. By looking at the lettering on the signs I could tell this location HAD been there my entire life, the store gave me a special nostalgic feeling it even shares its storefront with a travel agency!!! I felt as if I was walking back into my childhood as I walked in the door. Once inside AFCO I was greeted by a very nice and knowledgeable saleswomen, the very same from my earlyer phone call, who did remember speaking to me earlier and had my belt put aside Within 2 to 3 minutes I had paid for the belt and I was on my way with full confidence that I had exactly the part I needed to finish the job If I had known AFCO existed it would have been my first stop and will definitely be my first stop going forward... before the big box stores or the Wild Wild West of the internet! Sometimes the shopping giants cannot compare to the service, knowledge, and convenience you get from a mom and pop type of location.. Bonus Points -This location shares its door from with a travel agent which of course is a bit of A-blast from the past. -The saleswoman was very friendly and fully CoVid compliant as they had a table set up I front right when you enter -***Big bonus*** There was a very playful large dog in front with me while I waited!! So cute In Conclusion I must say I was very pleased with the service convenience and availability of AFCO.I recommend it to anyone who needs any kind of appliance repair as they seem very knowledgeable and helpful and although I hope not to break anything else anytime soon... I know that as soon as I do... I will be going directly to AFC0!

If you've watched Schitt's Creek, you'll be familiar with David's store: Rose Apothecary. For some…read morereason this store reminds me of that shop (which is a good thing). White House Home is one of those locally owned businesses you want to stay in business because of the personal touches, quality service, and small town charm. The store is essentially a boutique selling a variety of imported products: lotions, candles, glassware, porcelain, and even some packaged foods (cookies and chocolates, for instance). You'll find few of these products at another store nearby, which makes the selection pretty unique. Most recently I came here for a Mother's Day gift and had plenty to choose from. The employee working in the store that day took time to answer my questions and offer some product recommendations. The prices here are perhaps a little steeper than you might find at a large retailer, but it's that personal touch and eclectic selection of luxury goods that make it worth the price jump. Upon deciding on something to buy, the employee took time to carefully wrap the purchase in a gift bag, even removing the price sticker since I mentioned it was a gift. The store is located in a small cottage, so looking in from the outside it might appear to offer just a few choices, but the store is really packed with options, so there's a lot to choose from. For the small town charm, personalized service and unique offerings, I'm a fan. It doesn't necessarily have anything, but it's the perfect place to go if you need a special gift or are looking for something different.
