I called a few days prior to schedule an appointment at 10:00am for a full set and pedi. I walk in at 9:58am and there's a line forming to talk to the front desk. Some were walk-ins and some were appointments. When it got to me, I told him I had an appointment for a full set and pedi at 10:00am and he directed me to the tablet to complete check-in. I found my name and appointment time but it still asked me to pick my services. I picked both things I needed. The two women in front of me were ushered to their spots. I waited to the side. A few minutes later, a nail tech in the middle of the floor in the waaaay back waived in my direction. I looked around before pointing to my chest and asking if she meant me. She nodded and waived for me to come over. She asked if I didn't remember her from last time, and I replied "It's my first time here.. Nobody really explained to me who I was going to work with. They only asked me to check in and I waited for further instructions." She apologized. Super kind, social, and funny nail tech. Love love love that she can hold a conversation down cause I can be a yapper. She for sure uplifted my mood after being confused. Halfway through my set, she asked what I had planned for the rest of the day. I told her "To get my toes done, too." She immediately spoke with someone and asked if I wanted to get em done at the same time. I told her I did and she reminded me that I had a lot of power in decided to do both at the same time. I appreciated it, but let her know that in general, as a new customer I felt lost because the front desk didn't help clarify who I'd be working with or confirm what I wanted done despite that I told them what I needed verbally and I selected the same things on the tablet. I could only assume that they did they separately because nobody really talked to me to specify. --- QUALITY & VIBE --- Both the set and pedi completed was amazing, the staff is really nice, and the space is clean, professional and spacious. However, as someone who has worked the front desk, I recommend that the front really communicates the process with their NEW customers because that: sets the first impression, clarity helps makes things efficient for the staff and client, and less confusion won't make the client feel uncomfortable from the start.

They have taken precautions for COVID by taking your temperature and everyone was wearing masks. The technician was very skilled and efficient. I have been to a lot of different threading places and you can tell right away if someone is skilled or not (if they're not skilled, it's excruciating). He then gets confused and instead says he will do layers. We just wanted it to be short, no layers or anything. As he is cutting, he keeps asking my mom on how short she wants it but we just say shorter and shorter since he keeps asking. He then stares at my mom with a very angry face and says he can't keep doing this. He starts to yell and scream complaining that my mom can't keep saying go shorter and shorter. He then starts yelling and saying random things in anger and pulls my sisters cape while yelling saying he won't cut anymore and tells us to leave. He also starts throwing stuff like paper tissues on the floor. I then try to help him understand what the situation is but he keeps yelling for us to leave. I then tell him that I'll pay for what he has done. Instead he insults that we are cheap and tells us to leave. Our whole family have been going to this shop since it's started and all the ladies did amazingly but this was the one worst service ever done by this old man. Jay took one look at my eyes and lashes she knew it was either the "glue" or "lashes" that caused the bad reaction. After removing the lashes, she says it most likely was the glue and lashes. The lashes were poor in quality. I informed her I was looking for more of a natural look . I was told by lash wearers that the "mink" lashes were BEST. The lashes the tech used were not "Mink". Per Jay, the prior tech did a good job but the supplies used were not good. Informed Jay if I decide to get lashes again I will certainly book with her. The location of this Lash Bar is convenient to my home and the prices are reasonable. The interior of the salon is cute. It's located in an office park shared with other businesses. I arrived 10 minutes early was told she was finishing up w/another customer. I was called back 5 min after my arrival. So she's prompt w/appointments if you're concerned about time. Since I was getting lash removal, she had to apply the removal which is recommended to soak or marinate for 30 minutes. This breaks down the glue for easy removal. She definitely made my day better. I was afraid my lashes would come off but they were in tact and she complimented them as "healthy". . She suggested I wait maybe a couple of weeks to try it again or whenever I'm comfortable.
