Back on 7/19/2022 I dealt with Sales Manager Chad. First off he did an consult and the exact flooring color/model number was given but wasn't provided. Installation Day workers showed up and started lifting the carpet and once flooring arrived it was the wrong flooring Installation completed and less than a month flooring started lifting. I tried on numerous occasions to reach out to Chad by text/call and recieved no response. I then contacted the store and was advised that he was on vacation in Europe or another country. Once I did receive a call back Chad blamed me for the lifting of the 4/5 flooring boards and air never heard from him again. I began working with A++ Flooring in March when I first met with Sam to discuss new flooring for my home. I selected a Republic floor sample, and I held onto that sample for several months while I coordinated the rest of my finishing touches around it. In June, we finally scheduled installation. I ordered 2,800 sq. ft. of flooring, stair noses, and stair materials. On the first day, the crew arrived with only 51 boxes for my first floor. During installation, I noticed the color of the flooring did not match the sample I had been shown. When I brought this up to Sam, instead of resolving the concern professionally, he raised his voice at me several times. At that point, I contacted the owner, Ali, who initially presented himself as kind and understanding. He came to the job site, acknowledged the issue, and agreed to have a manufacturer's representative (Edgar) review the flooring. Edgar came to look at the flooring and offered to swap out any unused material at no cost and with no restocking fee. I then did extensive research and selected a replacement floor, but I have been waiting nearly two months and still have not received my new flooring. Instead of resolving this, Ali later told my husband that he did not want to work with me, claiming his installers were "afraid" I wouldn't like the replacement flooring. I made it clear that I was fine with finding another installer -- all I wanted was for my flooring to be delivered. To make matters worse: Out of the 128 boxes ordered, only 51 were delivered. My stair noses and stair materials have not been delivered. My card was charged an additional $4,000 during my husband's visit to their store, yet we still do not have the missing flooring. Ali has since stopped responding to our calls and messages, leaving us with an incomplete and unsatisfactory job. I also had concerns with the installation process itself, specifically the large number of 42 bags of floating material I was charged for, which Ali dismissed by simply telling me everything was "fine" and "under warranty." At this point, my experience with A++ Flooring has been extremely stressful, costly, and disappointing. I am left with an unfinished home, missing materials, and thousands of dollars charged without delivery. This is not how any customer should be treated, and I cannot recommend this company to anyone considering new flooring. read more

I have mixed reviews (and feelings) about this company. Our floors turned out nice but it was a process to get there. We had beat up wood and travertine tile with pitting so we decided to have wood-look porcelain tile put in. Finished product looks great. During the sales process we were told that the project would go room to room as we were doing most of downstairs at once. Once it came time to do demo though we were told everything needed to be cleared so they could demo all at once. For a big family with kids at home, this was a major disruption due to no kitchen, no living room, no office for 8-10 days. Dust everywhere. We were probably naive about the amount of disruption the project would cause but also felt like the sales person painted a rosy picture for how the process would work. Once the tile is set you can't walk on it until the following morning. We had to partition of parts of the house to keep kids out of certain areas. The crews moved big pieces of furniture out of and back into the respective rooms for the most part. Still left quite a bit of work to get things back into the right places and some furniture was left in the garage. We had to have them back out to touch up gaps in grout and fix a pattern break on some final pieces the day after the job was completed. I understand that grout sinks/settles after application but believe they should have done a final walk through and caught these things without us having to point them out. As I said above, we are happy with the finished product. The communication was touch and go. The process took longer and was far messier and more disruptive than we expected based on initial sales discussion in the showroom. read more

They did the remodel in our Master Bath in 2019. Their tile people are artists when it comes to tiling. My wall tile didn't offer bullnose edging and I hate using the schluter metal edging, it looks cheap, so their tile guys ground down the edges by 45 degrees so my tile didn't have raw edges showing when they met. They also created a zero clearance threshold off my main floor tile before that was even a thing. To finish the project they contracted the glass shower surround and once installed it looked fabulous. These folks really are A+!!! read more

Came in and received a quote. Picked them for the install. They showed up and were done in a day which is normal for the size of the job. They never called and told us how to even finish payment. I had to call and get that figured out. They moved everything around in our rooms and didn't put it back where it belonged. Most of it was shoved in our bathroom. Thanks! Fortunately my daughter, a real estate developer, showed me some of their properties that A+ Floors 4U had completed, and I was amazed at the workmanship. I contacted Allen who was able to come out right away. He laser measured every square inch of the interior and provide a very fair price for the job. He sent out Jesus who completed the whole house, carpet, luxury vinyl tiling & some cement leveling in 3 days flat. Jesus works fast and extremely clean. It is with sincere sadness that I leave this review because I am careful not to burn bridges. I do not recommend A+ based on the craftsmanship and work ethic of their installers. I did 4 jobs -with wood floor, LVT floor, tile floor, and tile fireplace. 2 in my hm and 2 in my interior design client's hm . 3 of the 4 jobs had issues. Of 3 jobs with issues only 1 was addressed properly but, because I felt the owner and staff were so kind, I tried to maintain a relationship and had $30k planned to spend with them after the 4th job ( recent). However we couldn't get beyond floor for 1 rm at $2400 ($10/sq ft). Their installers did not level floor and left boards with visible damage. To be fair, A+ did try to address, but the installers kept making new damage. Installers were always late. 1st time they had like 8-10 ppl with them for 1 room - I thought they were training, but it was loud like a social & I found what looked like a beer can after. They left my bed in master bathroom. A+ agreed to fix, but 2nd time installer blamed manufacturer and did nothing . 3rd time installer agreed to try. They took 8 hrs to pull 4 pieces and install 1, with more damage, then said they can't fix, it's manufacturer issue. They left my rm incomplete 2 months with a bed blocking my bathroom. After, A+ got the manufacturer to agree to replace the entire floor and they pay labor; but A+ told me I had to pick a different floor. I didn't agree with this, but I tried to address softly. I said that I think it's an installer issue and I'd prefer they just fix the damaged pieces and put back the floor they removed and discount like $200 (less than 10%) because I'd been sleeping on my couch months and they'd be in my house 1-2 weeks during holidays. I said to Sales "when the guys come out ask them to be careful bc they keep damaging the floor and to not have drinks". Maybe "drinks" was misunderstood or I said too softly but I meant alcohol. They agreed to send guys out but no answer on discount - no issue; just needed floor done with no damage. I said just fix the ones they damaged. I felt I had no choice but accept they would not level the floor . 4th time, took almost 7 hours to remove 2 boards and install 2. They told me they replaced 2 other pieces and left rest of floor incomplete. After they left I found they hadn't even replaced the 2 pieces they said. I complained to Sales very angrily so 5th time they replaced the 2 boards they lied about and put in 4 boards. This time they magically could level the same 4 boards they said were manufacturer issues and finished in 1.5 hr. Sales came to inspect floor on same day, upon inspection more damages were found from install and all the excess wood was damaged. Meaning, even if I want to pay another company to address the floor, I have to buy more material. Sales said A+ will fix but I lost confidence. I wrote a long complaint and had to meet with owner. The owner had good intent but his approach didn't help. He spent more time indirectly say'n I made up the 8-10 ppl in my house and having beer. He said bc he is Muslim his employees wouldn't do this, but the installers are Hispanic and not Muslim. My kid was there, I told him 10, she said it looked to her like 8. If she is to lie for me, wouldn't she also say 10? He called installer in front of us to prove it, and installer stumbled in reply. Next I was asked for vids. I hired A+ bc I trusted them; didn't think I need to record their guys. Regardless of if they felt I lied, the focus should have been on finishing the floor. They could have said "this has never happened and we will look into it" and redirected to what is left to finish. I did tell them I felt insulted, which upset them, but who wouldn't be? 30 min listening to A+ try to convince me what I said wasn't possible and 8 ppl can't fit in room - seems they only saw one way (that I was overreacting and lying). I told them think'n they'd make the guys do their job right - that's it. This relationship was damaged due to their installers sadly. Had to file a chargeback. read more

He helped us decide on what would look perfect with our furniture and walls and everything turned out great. He made sure to check on us and answer any questions we had during and after the job was done. Jose who was the lead guy taking care of the floor job was also very professional. My wife and I went to A+ first. I was initially impressed by the friendliness of the people who work there. Then by how they educated us on our options instead of trying to sell me something. We later went to another store and then a wholesale, make-an-appointment type place. I was not impressed with the service at these other places, especially after my experience at A+. A+ prices were significantly less than them as well. We returned to A+. We worked with Chad. He was incredibly patient. We changed our mind so many times about the wood flooring and asked so many questions, and took home many samples of wood and carpet. Then, the morning I was supposed to bring him a deposit, we changed our minds again! He didn't bat an eyelash and was more than happy to start over with us. We finally made our selections and got carpet throughout the house with tile in the foyer. Both the tile and carpet install teams were great! Punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, clean. I had an issue with one area of the tile install the next day and the guy gladly returned to fix it. He came back about an hour after I texted him. The carpet guy also told me to call him if anything came up as I wasn't home when they left. Yes, I had no problems leaving either team in my home when I was not there. I recommend anyone in the Katy area looking for flooring to stop stressing out and just go see Chad at A+. read more

We couldn't be happier about the results that we had if we'd done this ourselves. Saif is a knowledgeable consultant and has extensive experience picking and installing all kinds of flooring. He spent many hours with us going over the original flooring downstairs and how to pick the correct and fitting type of floor from their vast collection. He did not recommend the expensive floor materials in the shop and that's when we understood he is there to help us and not just to make his company profit. Installation was a breeze. I was impressed at how well he knew the varying types of carpets and how each one works with different lifestyles (for example: we have kids! so he knew what would work for us). My wife and I decided to replace the floors in our living area and office. We spoke with several flooring companies and got what we felt were very over priced estimates. After asking around, one of our neighbors told us about A+ and the experience they have had with their service. So we decided to go over to their showroom and it was the best decision we could have made for our flooring. What I appreciate the most is the fact that they did not try to sell me the most expensive options they had, but instead educated me and my wife on all possible options. Giving is the pros and cons of each, and having two small children we wanted hard flooring but something that was as child proof as possible. Over all it was a great experience that not only saved us money, but got the look we were looking for. I had my laminate floors installed Jan. 2014. they look beautiful, and the installers are great. The ordering process was easy. However, just know you will have to have your floors leveled in order to avoid having your warranty voided. I was told this would be $60/bag. The installers told me my floors were only 1/8" off, but needed to level them. I agreed so I wouldn't have my warranty voided. It took 9 bags for 1100 sf, so I told them to not level the remaining 400 sf and I would take my chances. Hope this helps others! read more
