Shawn, This is in response to your comment on my review that was posted 3 months ago. Not being made aware that there was a delay sounds like an issue between you and the manufacturer. Hopefully that is a business relationship that has improved. I do find it very hard to believe that there was zero communication, but if you say so. I addressed that we can't control acts of God. My husband measured the space, asked if you needed to come out and you said no. You were confident that ordering 20% in excess would cover it. My question for you is, why do you think it's a good idea to trust customers measurements? Your job is to make sure that you are ordering and installing the correct product. So even if my husband was off, you should have sent someone out to double check. Not even double check, but to accurately measure In the first place. You made an error and you're acting like you did us a favor by not charging us? The kicker? You never gave us the $150 Gift card from the manufacturer. In fact, you called right after the first review I posted on Google and begged for the post to be taken down. You said it wasn't good for business and took zero responsibility for the complete mess. I also recall you offering the $150 gift card on the condition that we take down the Google review. My husband wasn't entertaining you acting like the victim, so stopped the conversation. You had our address and that reimbursement should have made it in the mail, regardless of us accepting it or not. We do wish you the best and hope your next 5 star review comes soon. Shawn, mgr, came to do estimate and then we came by his store to look at the wood samples. He recommended using engineered hardwood instead of bamboo Bc of humidity issues in Houston. We chose the wood (Hickory). We scheduled the installation 2-3 weeks later and voila. It took less than 2.5 days to complete the first floor and stairs. They did a clean job. They did everything A-Z so we didn't have anything to worry about. read more

We asked Jay at EZ floors to help us with installation of vinyl plank flooring during the construction of our new home. Jay helped us pick out the product based on what we wanted and gave us a very fair deal. Jay then worked directly with our builder to make sure everything was set up correctly and things went perfectly. Horrible customer care. They installed our hardwood floors about 2 months ago and right after the installation we realized that several planks weren't glued down properly and loose. Anytime you step on them, a loud noise comes. I did let Rudolph know about the issues we were having very next day, and since then called/texted them at least 10 times. I even went to their office couple of times, all we got was new lies every time: we'll fix it by thanksgiving, by next week, by Christmas, in a few days, etc. And we are still waiting! They literally have no customer care! Evrything was good until we paid the full amount, then, no response to any issues/problems. We do still like the product we've chosen and would like to change all our first and second floor with it. However definitely not with EZ floors! read more

When my husband and I where looking to replace our carpet with vinyl plank flooring we looked at several places. Once we narrowed it down to a few places we checked out ez floors and they had exactly what we where looking for. It was a brand new product that they just got the day before. No problem, they got it ordered and started installation within a week. Their installation crew was very kind, courteous and fast. We cannot say enough about how good our experience was with ez floors. They leveled the floors perfectly as the floor feels firm and straight when walking on it. I am so happy with the entire experience at EZ Floors. This place is close to home so I stopped in. It was the first place I looked. Rudolph was my sales manager and walked me through everything. He asked key questions that helped me figure out what I really wanted, wood type, texture, colorssent me home with some wood flooring samples and I made the decision. The price was great, I did go to a few others to comparison shop and it was a waste of time. No one treated me as kindly or was more informative than Rudolph. No one beat their price either. The floor was just installed and I love it. It's beautiful and I am thrilled. The installing crew was polite, fast and left everything perfect. Really wanted to like this place after reading good reviews from google, yelp, and Facebook. I walked in and the only guy there was on his phone at his desk. He looked over, and continued on his phone. After looking around for a few min he came over and enthusiastically greeted us. I told him what we were looking for and he pointed to two sections in the store. I asked him a price and he said if I picked out certain ones he could tell us. He didn't really care to help. Left and went to floor and decor. Maybe he had a bad day but that was just my experience. We'd been considering reflooring our upstairs area, a bit less than 2000sf, for a while and after getting a recommendation from our neighbor on EZ Floors we contacted them. Shawn was excellent and made really useful suggestions on the best way to go and we scheduled for a little over a week out. The guys that did the job - a day quicker than planned - were great, professional, courteous and cleaned up the job really well. We bought over 4000 sq feet of tile from ez floors. They even delivered the tile. Over 70 percent of the tile was damaged coming out of the box. When we talked to ez floors they told us it was a problem with the manufacture and that we had to work it out with the manufacturer. I understand they are just the middle man, but I feel like a reputable business would stand behind a product they are selling. read more

After we flooded from Harvey everything had to go including our counters. We found the perfect replacement -- my dream counter in a really pretty light gray quartz -- and after calling around found the best deal at EZ Floors. I called ahead and spoke with Mike and after dropping by it could not have been easier to get it ordered! Since my contractor had an installer who was going to fabricate on site, I only needed the slabs. so easy until I realized that the person who was supposed to install literally had no way of getting it to my home. Mike came to the rescue and arranged for Concerta to deliver it. But alas -- it turns out that I needed a crane to get the 900 pound slabs off the truck -- not something I have readily available of course. So again, Mike to the rescue -- going above and beyond to call his crews and trucking companies to price out delivery. As it turned out by the time I paid for shipping we were so close to the store's cost for installation that we've now opted for them to just install (which will include them picking it up and fabricating). In the end Mike has been amazing to work with -- going far beyond his job description to help us figure out what we needed to do. If I'd found him and EZ Floors at the beginning of my journey I would have ordered more from them for sure; and would certainly use them in the future. I would recommend them a thousand times over!!
