    Pork & veg dumpling

Had JB twice more in restaurant (ALWAYS OUTSTANDING), but this time I'm here to talk about their TAKE OUT. It's phenomenal! They actually label all the dishes so you know which is which. The quality was still really good still too. The only thing missing were sauces. This time, also tried their garlic spinach, garlic green beans, fried squid balls, jajang noodles, and the angus beef truffle rice. Everything is DELISH!!! Had way too much food & ate much in separate meals & they all reheated well. Fried rice in frying pan w/cold meat put back in after was perfect. Noodles cold were grrrreat! Hot veg were so tasty! Can never get enough of their bok choy. It's special! So the lesson we learn here is JB is one of the best things to ever happen to this town!!!

Service was very fast! Vast menu selection. Large dining room with quick turnover. Taiwanese scallion pancakes were flaky, thin and delicious. Would order again. The soup dumplings were good. Soupy and tasty, and came out quickly. The shrimp and pork one was more flavorful than the pork one. Popcorn chicken is cumin heavy and not too salty. I liked it but skip if you don't like cumin or lightly salted food; may need to as your own salt. String beans were well cooked and tasty; not spicy. Cucumber salad also decent. Truffle fried rice was greasy and tasted butter heavy. Delicious but definitely not healthy. Haha. Good amount of tenderly cooked beef in it. Didn't really taste truffle flavor even though there was a piece of truffle on top.

Old Boston Market Location; what is funny is their logo looks almost like the old boston market logo with a bao in the middle. Place opens at 11am. We went around 1130am and by 12 Noon it was completely full and there were people waiting. It can fit many groups of people. The staff is attentive and friendly. We got a good variety of food including a combo deal. The food is good but not amazing. We have dimsum and chinese food often. They rely on the use a lot of garlic and chili oil on their items. The most flavorful item was actually the popcorn chicken. Cucumbers in the Cucumber salad were bigger than bite size; wish it was cut down a bit. For some reason we thought it was chinese broccoli and it was regular broccoli. At that price point it was definitely not worth it. Pork and vegetable dumping was definitely hand made but the wrapper was a bit thick and it needed the extra chili oil. Pan fried pork bun took a long time to make and wasn't worth the time. Flavor was only okay. A definite order: the chocolate Xiao long bao was the best. Personally I think the prices are high for a place that doesnt have the ambiance or complex flavor profile. $8 for four mid shu mai!! Thats nuts. Unfortunately this is not a place we will immediately go back to.

Came here twice. Overall a 3.5 rating. First time on Mother's Day and super busy was 4 stars. Second time on a Friday night and wasn't too busy, 3 stars. This place took over Boston Market that closed not too long ago so you can see it as you get off the 41 freeway on Bullard. Depending on the day, food can be pretty good or just okay. The cost can range from $80-150 with tip depending on how much you order. Things we ordered so far: - Jingle Bao Fried Rice (very close to the traditional yung chow fried rice) 5/5 - Pork Xiao Long Bao 3.5/5 - Har Kow 5/5 - Chocolate Xiao Long Bao 5/5 - Chasui Bao 1/5 - Piggy Custard Bun 3.5/5 - Stir Fried Green Beans (perfectly cooked and flavored well) 5/5 - Beef Scallion 4/5 - Pan Fried Juicy Pork Bun 3.5/5 - Red Bean Paste Bun 4/5 Pros: plenty of seating, decent portions, decent prices, food came out fairly quick, water jugs provided with cups at tables, friendly staff, you can watch cooks/chefs work as there's a big window you can see through the kitchen area. Cons: FCFS (no reservations as of now), more attentive service as things have been forgotten along the way, bathrooms could be cleaned a bit more often. All in all, we got our fix here and not sure we'll be back anytime soon. The atmosphere can be loud but it's typical for any restaurant. Doesn't hurt to try if you're in the area!

Food is top notch! Reminds me of Din Tai Fung 鼎泰豐 , but cheaper. Ordered Pork Xiao Long Bao, Truffle Angus Beef Fried Rice, Pan Fried Juicy Pork Bun, and Chocolate Xiao Long Bao for dessert. Came out to around $65 without tip. Would definitely recommend the truffle angus beef fried rice, wish had more truffles though. Flavor was amazing regardless. CAUTION be careful when eating the pan fried juicy pork bun, squirts out when biting into it haha. Everything was great tasting. Pricing is worth it in my opinion for the quality of food you're getting. Service is busy, but fast. Went around peak dinner hours on a Friday. Ambiance is clean and a lot of space. Would recommend 100% and willing to try different items on the menu on my future visits.

Finally a good chicken dumpling spot in Fresno!!!! Had the pleasure of finally trying this spot on a weekday lunch break! Easy check in system, minimal wait and amazing food! Oh yea ill be back. Seating is vast and decor is traditional. Staff are all so kind and again the service is so quick i was amazed! The lunch combo meals are such a great deal and the portions are shareable. I did find the dough on the dumplings to be a little too doughy however they are still the best dumplings in Fresno! The chilli sauce is not spicy at all but the flavor is addicting! Already counting down the days until I go back!

Ahhh! I have been waiting for a place like this for quite sometime! As close as we will get to Din Thai Fung and I kinda liked it better! The service was fast! We definitely over ordered but man it was so worth it!! The fried rice was amazing!! The green beans were super crispy and flavorful. The cucumbers needed a little salt so I added soy sauce. Dumplings were so flavorful! I forgot to take a picture of the chocolate ones but those were good too! Now I want to go eat it again after this review.

Great experience ! Did not wait long to be seated. Greeted right away by our lovely waitress Leslie , She was very attentive and provided amazing service! The food was absolutely delicious ! All great choices..... we will definitely come again. Tonight we were celebrating my loves birthday ! This was her choice for her birthday dinner she wanted to try it out and they did not disappoint. Oh... and they give a free drink from the menu when it's your Birthday!

For the long waitlist we got seated quickly. The waiter was helpful in explaining the different types of dumplings and even recommended some good choices. The food and flavor is great. Standard dumpling ingredients of pork and shrimp, but the second time around I noticed the dough is thicker in ratio to the meat. The steamed buns especially are extra doughy--not much meat at all. Still the flavor is there, cute place and great experience overall. Best to go with a group so you can order and try different things.

We had originally went to dumpling u but the wait was too long ( about 45 min), so we drove to jingle bao. The wait at jingle bao was about 20 min. This restaurant has not been remodeled very much from what it was before. I don't know what restaurant it was before. They seat and bring you water right away. The menu selection isnt huge but everything is made fresh !! They have xiao long bao, spicy dumpling, fried rice, and some sides. We got the fried spinach, xiao long bao, spicy red oil dumpling, and wagyu fried rice. Total was about $80. The wagyu fried rice was super delicious!!! The beef was very soft and the fried rice was so yummy. The xiao long bao was also really good, plenty of hot soup in each XLB. I also really enjoyed the pan fried spinach. The restaurant was really crowded and it was nice to see everyone enjoying the food. I would definitely come here again!! Service was friendly and food came out very fast.

I was super excited to try this place after seeing it all over social media. We arrived right at 11 am opening and the restaurant quickly filled up. The space is open and bright and offers table seating. On each table there water cups and water, as well as, soy sauce, chili oil and dumpling sauce. Our server was very attentive and prompt so no complaints there. We ordered the Uncle Fried Rice. It was okay, just a little soggy for my preference but it was a generous portion. The stir fry green beans were the best part of our visit. They were so flavorful! The spicy wontons were decent. I didn't care for the sauce but the wontons themselves were good. The har gow were so bad! Almost inedible. My sister described them as just being mush. And I could not get over the overpowering fishy taste. They were not good at all. I don't know that I could justify returning for the price.

I've been wanting to try Jingle Bao since before it even opened and finally made it in after they took over the old Boston Market spot. First off, props to whoever designed their logo, it was a clever way to work with the old signage and it looks super cute! We got there around 7pm on a Saturday, and it seemed like everyone in Fresno had the same idea. I signed in at the kiosk and we were 20 groups deep on the waitlist. After about an hour, we were seated, though they did have a sign up saying takeout orders only since they close at 9pm (this was about 7:30ish). Despite the craziness, the staff really impressed me. They were hustling to keep up with all the tables and to-go orders, but they stayed attentive and made sure we didn't go without anything. The food came out quickly, and we never felt ignored, which was a huge plus considering how packed they were. For the food, we ordered a mix of dishes, starting with the stir-fried green beans, although very delicious, they were a bit greasy. Everyone seemed to enjoy them though and even wished we'd ordered a second serving. The fried golden buns with condensed milk were something I didn't try because I was too full by the time they came out, but the rest of the table seemed to enjoy those also. The pork xiao long bao (both regular and spicy) were *chef's kiss*. They were fresh, hot and the wrapper to filling ratio was spot on. The seasoning was perfect, I'd definitely order these again. The spicy wontons, which the staff recommended, were flavorful and spicy, exactly what I was hoping for. I would love to try the wonton soup next time, but the wontons were so good I didn't mind. The pan fried juicy pork buns were another surprise. I didn't expect to like them as much as I did, but they were delicious. Just be careful when you bite into them, they live up to the "juicy" name, so they're pretty hot. The scallion pancakes were a standout too, crispy and flaky just the way I like them and I would definitely order those again. As for the garlic noodles, they weren't my favorite. They were a bit greasy and lacked flavor, so I'd probably rate them a 3/5, but with so many other great dishes, it didn't take away from the meal. Finally, the har gow came out last and they were fresh and hot, just like the rest of the dumplings. Overall, I'm definitely planning to return to Jingle Bao, though I'll aim for a less crowded time since the wait was pretty long. Despite the wait, the staff's service was excellent and they really made the experience enjoyable. Looking forward to trying more next time!

I went back to Jingle Bao to try something different, and I'm still feeling a little middle-of-the-road about it. This time I ordered the beer noodle soup. I'm personally a fan of thin, bouncy, slurpable noodles that the broth really clings to. These were thicker noodles than I prefer. The broth also is oddly sweet, and I was hoping for something more savory with a little spice and depth. The green beans are still a standout for me, consistently flavorful and well cooked. The chicken dumplings were tasty, but the wonton wrapper felt a bit thick, which took away from that delicate bite I love in a good dumpling. There are still a couple things on the menu I want to try, so I'm not giving up just yet. Maybe the third visit will be the one that fully wins me over.

The pot sticker was probably one of the best I've had in town, The wrapper was not too thick, Silky, Slightly crispy, And the filling was light and delicious not heavy. The Foil wrapped chicken Was different than any other place in that it was lighter and not overburdened with a salty sauce. As far as the entrees, My crispy beef was amazing, So crispy, With a delicious sauce. My husband's Kung pao chicken was so tasty, Everything was fresh and the chicken was not dry. There is finally a reasonably priced Chinese take-out option in town that I actually like. The Mongolian Beef featured tender, flavorful slices of meat paired with crisp, plentiful vegetables. The sauce complemented the dish rather than overwhelming it, and it was not overly greasy. The Garlic Chicken was also good, coated in a savory, slightly sweet soy glaze. The meat was soft and perfectly cooked, again accompanied by fresh, crunchy vegetables. Many of the dishes here are authentically Cantonese-style: savory, built around fresh ingredients, lightly sauced, and never excessively oily. Portions are generous as well. This stands in stark contrast to many other Chinese take-out spots I have tried, where the food leans salty, oversauced, and made with cheaper ingredients -- and becomes practically inedible once it cools down. Judging by the simple décor and limited seating, it is clear this restaurant prioritizes cooking over ambiance. Most customers opt for take-out, which likely helps keep prices affordable. Service is warm and efficient. You are greeted as soon as you walk in, and staff members are ready with ordering help and suggestions. Most lunch plates are $10.25 and come with steamed rice or chow mein, or pork fried rice for an additional $2. Lunch plates are offered daily from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, including weekends. The menu covers a broad range of Cantonese and Szechuan favorites -- Kung Pao Chicken, Walnut Shrimp, General Tao Chicken, Szechuan Beef, chow mein, chow fun, plus several soups and fried rice options. Combination plates start at $12.90, and the family specials (three dishes for $41) are a solid value. All in all, it is a great spot for anyone craving affordable, satisfying Chinese food -- especially students and anyone on a tight budget.
