The rating of 1.9 stars is significantly higher than it should be, it should be a negative number. I have never visited a Panda Express location and left opening the box and it was always full. Upon opening the box this time, I discovered that the portion size was comparable to a children's meal, despite having paid for a full-sized meal. The staff's behavior was extremely rude. I am uncertain about the reasons behind this change. The staff used to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. For instance, consider the images I recently uploaded of the chow mein. It appears to be insufficient for an adult including the rest of the portions. When I asked for a little more orange chicken the employee gave me a look and added 2 more chunks. Unfriendly staff, looking down on customers, talking so fast that a high speed train wouldn't catch that, staff unkindly showing frustation over senior customer who has not grabbed the different menus of what comes with what, and combinations you can do, and no there was no long line that day. But did not recognize the name on order... so only 1 demerit..lol.. but when got food home one main item was missing, that is an epic fail. Was on a road trip and stop by to grab a quick lunch. I love Panda Express and I eat there more often than I should. This was the best Panda Express food I've ever had! Seriously, the chow main was excellent. It was seasoned well and had large fresh vegetables in it. I've never had chow main with such large grilled pieces of onion and fresh celery. Pretty good version of Panda Express. Have been to this one multiple times, dine in, drive thru and order online/pickup. The drive thru lines can be way too long at lunch for someone that only has 30 mins but if you order online and pickup it is usually hot and ready to go right when you walk in. That's what I did yesterday for dinner and my order was ready to go very quickly, I maybe waited 2 mins at the most. Food taste and quality has always been good at this location. Honey walnut shrimp is my fav and they usually serve you a pretty good portion so the upcharge is worth it imo. Especially after receiving the worst service ever at the Fresno St/C St location, this Selma location is the gold standard. Definitely give it a try. read more
