Unfortuna tely I did not have a good experience. Here's why: 1. Kimberly does not wear a mask. Shame on her!!!! 2. As a first timer, I was uncomfortable with the treatment. There was enough discomfort for me to ask her directly that she stop the treatment after approximately 35-40 minutes. (When I told her WITHOUT SCREAMING, that I was very uncomfortable, she told me, "well, don't scream, I have other clients in the lobby"). I told her "nobody is screaming and I said "that's an exaggeration, then she said I was loud, and that she didn't want the other client to hear me. My first thought was: "why is the door to the treatment room open", but I didn't want to be confrontative at the time, so I didn't mention that. 3. She actually left the treatment room and my bedside while the treatment was in progress, albeit she did turn off the flow. The reason she left the room was to attend to a client who came into the lobby. 4. She may well be a skilled high colonic therapist but I don't like the way I was treated for $135. read more

Incredible experience! Kim cares and it shows in everything she does. I am highly impressed and looking forward to my next session. During my most recent wellness check, my naturopath advised me that it may be time for a colonic. Wanting to find someone close to Idyllwild, I chose to do a Yelp search. Frankly it was the negative reviews she recently received that persuaded me that Kim was a great fit. We are like minded in the realm that healing the body through food, diet and care, and wearing a face mask and or covering the mouth is not healthy for the body. Her facilities are very clean and top notch. I was greeted warmly by her sweet assistant, a very protective fur child that enjoyed being scratched behind the ears and warmed up to me, making me feel welcomed. It seems that the owner of Healing Within has seen my precious review. Since that time she has added me to her phone list FIVE TIMES. Every time I text "Stop" I receive a confirmation that I will not get any more texts. Then the texts start up again. Let's re-cap. 1. I went for a colonic. The robes (they are not robes they are bath towels with Velcro on them) did not cover my naked body and I felt exposed during my entire visit. 2. I was left alone during the colonic with the door to the treatment room WIDE OPEN while she and another person (A TOTAL STRANGER TO ME) had conversation standing in front of the open door where I lay naked having a colonic. 3. I explained to the owner in detail that I had just survived ovarian cancer and had had several extreme surgeries including a hysterectomy and all the down time laying in bed recovering had caused me to gain weight. What did she say to me in response? "What you need to do is stop eating all that In-n-Out burger." I was shocked that I was paying over $100 to be fat shamed by this woman. 4. I had explained ALL OF MY SURGERIES TO HER yet when she pulled my bath towel back to massage my stomach she asked "What are all these weird ugly white spots on your stomach?" They are SURGERY SCARS GENIUS, remember I just explained that to you? This woman makes some really radical claims to the healing powers of having a bowel movement that are simply not true. Curing fibromyalgia? I don't think so. For a person who claims to be this all natural and all organic healing sage she has more cow bovine (Botox) and bad fillers in a face than can be measured. I am the SECOND client to review her for fat shaming and based on the level of plastics in this woman's face I doubt I will be the last. Stop texting me and stop emailing me. I hate writing this kind of review but I have to. I'm so disappointed because I was really looking forward to meeting Kim and excited how I would feel afterwards. Sadly this was not my experience. I felt uncomfortable in the moment I walked in. Kim was running late and told me I could change in the bathroom and wait in the lobby. All I was supposed to have on was a smock. Which was very revealing. So I left on my pants and waited. Finally when she saw me she expressed I needed to take off all my clothes which I said I didn't want to till I was in the room. Also when I was giving her my medical history she adviced me not to listen to my doctor and not to take my medication. This has me very concerned because the medication I'm on if I stop and start I could develop serious health problems. I'm sorry but she is not a a doctor she cannot legally advice people what to do medically. Once she stated she made many comments about my weight and how unhealthy I looked basically fat shamming me. I was so uncomfortable and wanted to cry. Because I was taking the first step to my health and here someone is fat shamming me. It was so disrespectful. After 30 min I had to stop cause I couldn't handle anymore of it. I was so uncomfortable. I'm very disappointed and feel it was a waste of money. For only basically 30 mins. It's a shame because I have a lot of clients I could have referred to her but I care about my clients and would never refer her to them. I think she needs to work on her bedside manner and be very careful what you say to not advice people and stick to your scope of practice. Also be careful with discussing other clients because it violates certain hippa laws. You really have no business and it's none of my business to know what happened with your clients. I have gone to better places for colonics that makes me feel comfortable and safe. Good luck with your business but I will not be back. read more

I met Kim looking for a job, and I'm glad I didn't follow through. She left me during my procedure. This was my second colonic, and I was nervous. I practiced Reiki on myself and tried to relax while rubbing my belly since she had left the room for over 5 minutes. I screamed her name, but she couldn't hear me from the back room over her music while talking with her friend/co-worker. I got extremely uncomfortable. My tummy was hurting and I was in a lot of pain, needing to release the toxins NOW. I tried to make the best of it but couldn't, and it was very traumatic. I have to say I was skeptical about doing colonic treatments again until I met Kimberly at A Healing Within. After doing a single session with Kimberly, I was so impressed with her knowledge and deminer that I signed on for ten more sessions and then added another two sessions after that. I could not believe, session after session the things that exited my body. I'm talking about the old matter and pathogens that I've been holding on to for years. This was my first colonic. Kimberly made it a very easy and comfortable experience. She has a gentle and caring bedside manner. I will return after the holidays to rid my system of the toxins I am sure to ingest. I suggested to Kimberly to include pictures of the entry and her door as it can be difficult to find.
