I had a massage from Blissful Healing for a friend's bachelorette about a year ago and had a good experience with them so I decided to book them again for another friend's bachelor party this year. I booked about 4 months in advance and received a confirmation email. The night before, I never got a text or email to confirm my booking but trusted that since I received a confirmation email that they would show up. Sure enough, 5 minutes pass from the agreed upon time and no one has showed up. I text Miranda and she says they just got into a car accident (which is what happened to another reviewer below and now seems oddly suspicious). Regardless, she says someone should be there in an hour. About an hour and a half later, someone finally shows up. Massages were great but already ruined the day with the lateness. Miranda agreed to refund the cost of the bachelor's massage, but it has now been nearly a month since the booking and no refund has been given. Overall, good massages but not worth the hassle of unreliability. read more

We unfortunately had issues with Blissful Massages. I booked massages for my bachelorette 5 months in advance and felt something was off because the owner kept telling me I would receive an email confirmation but never did. Since I was worried they would forget our reservation, I confirmed 3 times via email. Sure enough the masseuses didn't arrive and after 20 minutes, I called and the owner said the masseuses got in a 'fender bender' 2 miles from our Airbnb (though it really just sounded like they forgot our reservation). I also would have thought someone would contact us letting us know the masseuses would be late but I guess not. The owner then said she would need to find new masseuses to come but they wouldn't be here for another 1.5 hours. After our massages, I asked if we could receive a discount since they were so late and we had to miss our afternoon plans. The owner reluctantly said she would take $5 off each person's massage but when I looked back at their prices online, she actually charged me the full price. Unfortunately, I can't dispute the charge since I paid with Venmo but wanted to warn others about this company. UPDATE AGAIN: I'm not sure why you are trying to lie about giving us a discount? We had seven 30 minute massages. On your website those are $60 each ($420) and that's what you charged me despite the 'discount'. Attached are the screenshots. I submitted an inquiry through their website and have to admit I was nervous up until the day of that I was either going to be scammed or have a house full of people waiting for their massages. I organized a birthday weekend getaway in Landers, CA (practically in the middle of no where) and wanted our last full day to be dedicated to wellness so of course that meant looking into mobile massage services that would travel to the Yucca Valley/Joshua Tree area. Miranda was communicative before, during, and after and was flexible with adjusting our original request for 11 massages due to a no-show guest and also flexible when I requested an earlier start time for an earlier end time. For 10 hourlong massages we got two therapists. Transparently, both were late (traffic, underestimating travel time, and mix ups with start time seemed to be the cause). Their tardiness would have been an issue if I tried to schedule something after all the massages, but since we were just hanging out by the pool all day it wasn't too big of an issue for my party. Per the website and email I was looking forward to a spa gift with my massage but I never got it and was a bit bummed about that. I would have asked or said something right then and there, but I was in such a state of relaxation that it totally slipped my mind. Best massage I've had! My husband and I came out to Joshua Tree Park for a relaxing getaway. I messaged Maranda if she had availability and she was able to come out the very next day to our Airbnb for x2 two-hour massages. She was setup within minutes and her technique is out-of-this-world; she was trained by a physical therapist and it shows! I rented a luxury home in Joshua Tree for my 41st birthday. I contacted Miranda in April to plan ahead for June 3rd. I had 12 guests that I wanted to treat to a massage. She offered 30 min treatments or 1 hours treatments. I opted for 30 min with option to pay out of pocket for the hour. I also explained my niece was only 12 so she may want a modified massage. I inquired about the website saying we would get complimentary body scrubs. She text back "Yes I'll make sure I bring scrubs" Miranda stated she would send 2 therapists for 3 hours. 11-2pm. Miranda showed up about 10:15am and left at about 12:15pm leaving several of my guests without a massage. It was embarrassing. When she arrived, I explained that several of my guests including my 12-year old niece didn't want massages, but we would just get hour long ones to make up the time. She agreed and stated that 4 people can have hour long massages and even thanked me for filling the time. However, during the massages she was on her phone a lot. My guests complained that she would press on a spot and hold it there clearly doing something else. Apparently, she was letting another party know she would be able to come earlier. When I reached out to Miranda she stated she asked if there were anymore massages. She claims people told her no. That cant possibly be true since two of my guests said they went out there asking for a massage and she said she had to go. We are a group of hard working health care professionals and this should have been a better experience. I am truly disappointed. read more
