My previous handyman,-now​ in a wheelchair-approved the work quality and the pricing. It's difficult in these "charge as much as you can then add 20% more to cover the tariffs still being imposed" mindsets to find honest pricing much less honest and careful workmen. Trey, our technician was awesome. Calling a company to repair an AC is always very stressful and Trey was super transparent, kind and communicative, which made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. While making an appointment, the company responded quickly to book a next day appointment (which was great because our AC had stopped working temporarily and our house got up to 83 degrees inside). The repairs we had: -Repair incorrect condensate drain. -Flush drain line to ensure proper operation. -Thoroughly clean the outdoor coil to remove impacted dirt and debris. Grizzly has been servicing our system for two years now. The technician called ahead and was punctual. He was very polite and clean (putting on protective shoe covers, etc.). The technician spent at least an hour working on the furnace and appeared to be very thorough. Checklist of items inspected was provided. Minor cleaning appeared to have been done. HVAC filters were replaced. The technician surprised me with four work estimates totaling approximately $1,000. The cleaning tasks for the blower and the evaporative coil totaled $519. Two additional wiring projects which had never been identified previously totaled $444. Helpful pictures were provided. I was surprised by the costs for these recommendations and will need to get estimates from others. read more

I noticed what appeared to be a water leak in my downstairs bathroom and thought it could possibly be from the AC pipes in the attic. Trey came out and agreed that the pipe could be clogged. He got right to work and unclogged the pipe. Trey was very knowledgeable and explained the issue. He sure knows his AC science! We called Grizzly after having another company come out and check our AC System. While the other company did replace a burnt out fuse, Grizzly checked system pressures, operating currents and went into the attic to assess our full system. In the end they simply recharged our system after going through the pro's and con's. On the flip side, the other company said there is nothing we can do and we'd have to replace it. Really appreciate the way this business is run....they confirm appointments via text and email, the technician calls when he is on his way, and they get the job done. I have had them install a whole house fan, they provide maintenance and repair on our HVAC system, and they installed a ductless system for my garage. Our ac went out in the middle of the first heat wave of the summer because our furnace stopped working and Grizzly came to the rescue. They were the only company able to come out within a couple days of the ac going out, others were going to leave us without AC for 6 days. They were also incredibly honest and capable and not salesmen. As a mom with two kids everyone warned me that I would be gouged in prices and repairs but with grizzly it was the exact opposite. The repairman who I believe was named John, fixed the fan problem in the furnace and our ac has never been cooler. The best part, the service fee plus service was only $133. We were desperate and he could have lied and said all sorts of things needed repairing but he didn't. He fixed it and fairly and I now recommend them to everyone. Thanks grizzly! read more

Dave just finished installing a Whole House Fan, the energy effecient Stealth Pro in our house and did an excellent job!! He laid out tarps before the install and vacuumed afterwards, spent lots of time doing the job correctly and explaining all the functions and how to get the best use of our Quiet Cool Whole House Fan, highly recommended him, he is NOT a "Chuck in the truck trying to make a fast Buck" contractor.
