My first order arrived perfectly, which already impressed me. But the second, larger shipment completely exceeded my expectations. Every bottle was carefully packed, separated into smaller boxes so nothing would move, and even individually sealed at the caps. I've never seen that level of attention to detail before. On top of that, Chris went out of his way to help me track down a very specific version of the product I needed, even contacting other stores. He was communicative, honest, and genuinely cared about getting it right. He also included extra items and even additional bottles, which was such a thoughtful surprise. There was a man working at the counter, who smiled and appeared friendly. When I asked him to direct me to the product I was looking for, it was in one of the center aisles near the register. I stood there browsing the section for the product, and I felt eyes on me. I brushed off the feeling, but when I picked up the item off the shelf and turned around to walk back towards the register, I caught the man starting at me intently. He stood there at the edge of the front counter watching me look at the items on the shelf. I'm not even the type of person to touch things on the shelf, unless I am picking it up to buy it. Also, I wasn't carrying any bags, just a small coin purse. So his need to watch me felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. I still foolishly decided to purchase the product I was looking for, despite being watched like some sort of criminal and despite the product being overpriced. When I got home to use the product, it had already been opened. I didn't bother to take it back to the store because the receipt notes no refunds. What a waste. I won't be back here & don't recommend this place. There are plenty of other beauty supply stores in the area that I can happily spend my money on unopened products without being profiled.

I entered the store, wig cap affixed to my head with full intentions of purchasing a wig that day. After not being offered any help by the "shop assistant" I made my to the wig area in the back of the store to assist myself. Because I knew what I wanted and what I was looking for, I found a wig quickly and proceeded to try it on (with the wig cap that I already had on my head). As soon as I put it on the "shop assistant started screaming at the top of her lungs about how I " needed a wig cap and couldn't touch the the $44 wig without permission..." I and the rest of the customers in the store could only look at her like she was crazy because... she had to be out of her mind. I still needed a wig so, even with all of her obnoxiousness and rudeness, I politely questioned her about other wigs in the store. She was completely unhelpful, short, and frankly aggressive. I gave her the wig back and left. I'm not spending money where I don't feel welcomed. If they didn't want to make money they should have let me know when I walked in. This place wasn't my first choice and it won't be my last. I was looking for a hairstylist that could help and a friend told me that Danielle from Luxurious Hair is a Top Artist/stylist for Nioxin that does great work and to check out her website. So I checked her website out (Website looks good -check) I called her (picked up and super sweet and responsive on phone-check, ) and made an appointment for my mom. When we got to her private salon, we were immediately offered water and snacks (love those chocolate chip cookies, two kinds of chocolate in them?!- check) then Danielle immediately educated my mother on her hair, on the right products to use along with new styling tips so she can do it at home herself (caring, took her time, we were not rushed-double check and she was cute so ok another check). My moms hair looks awesome (too bad she's my mom) and is now going back for a one on one blow dry lesson (I thought women were born knowing how to blow dry?) and again next month for an updo (just learned that word) for my cousins wedding. Danielle has great customer service and she was cute so yeah a check.. Afterwards she now wants to do extensions after seeing Danielle's portfolio of clients and how natural it looks (I saw before and afters, pretty cool- I didn't even know women wear extensions....check for extensions and women who get away with it.. ) Danielle even told my mom that she can talk to some of her clients for their honest feedback. I would highly recommend her. She is experienced, honest, very affordable for the type of work she does (triple checkers) and cares about her work and clients. I informed him it was my first time doing a full closure and he wasn't helpful at all in picking the hair ( only to find out when I was there from Marilyn that they could have ordered what I needed for me at the shop) then I get there and he is asking and getting help doing my hair. I told him it was for a special event . So if you didn't know what you were doing say it up front. It ended up coming out awful and wiggy looking. They put the entire stocking cap with the thick ends on my head did not even cut the ends or try to put make up around the corners to blend so the edges show the cap. Then he didn't even pick the part nor try and lay baby hair around the edges.He also told me my hair didn't hold curls which was his excuse to not put any effort to style it. I was then over charged for this mess as I had to pay like $200 for what ever he attempted in my hair and a separate extra $50 for braids as he has someone else in the shop do them smh. I had to go to another salon to try and fix the mess as I told you I had a special event to attend. She saw the mess he did and was like what the heck is that mess. She was able to adjust the front, fix the edges, pick the part and she did curls which held perfectly. As other reviews mentioned there was an alcohol stench but not sure if it's from being hungover or maybe the cologne he uses smell that way. I'd hate to say there is a alcohol issue here. I definitely will not be returning.
