In retaliation to my honest review of the fraudulent billing at Dr. Enayati's practice. They have more than doubled the amount that they claim I owe. I'm also getting harassed by their attorneys. Please be cautious if you choose to get care from this practice. I will be moving forward with my claim to the medical board. I'm writing this to warn others to be extremely cautious about the billing practices at Dr. Enayatis Offices. Before starting treatment, I was explicitly reassured by both the doctor and staff that they were in-network with my insurance. They collected my standard copays at each visit, and I was told repeatedly that all procedures and tests were covered. However, I was blindsided when I received a call-not even from the office, but from their outsourced billing department-informing me that I owe over $5700 in uncovered services. Many of the tests and scans they encouraged now appear unnecessary in hindsight, and I feel misled into trusting their financial guidance. At no point was I told I would be considered out-of-network or face these kinds of charges. I am a single parent and don't have the money to cover this. If you choose to visit Dr. Enayati, I strongly advise confirming your coverage directly with your insurance company-don't rely on verbal assurances from the office staff!! Transparency and ethical billing practices should be a given in healthcare, and sadly, that was not my experience with this doctor. I have since filed a formal complaint with my insurance provider and am exploring further action by filing a complaint with the medical board and posting a complaint with the BBB. The office is very disorganized. You go for an appointment and the doctor has 2 minutes to see you and orders a bunch of tests without taking the time to explain what they are for. I have been Dr. Enayati's patient for several years and I hope he never ever retires. Not only is he a wonderful man but as a doctor his level of expertise is amazing. And he is patient - he answers all my questions and never seems to be in a rush getting to the next patient. I had a serious medical issue two years ago and within one hour he texted me to say call these two doctor's offices - they're expecting your call. I had appointments within a week all due to the relationships Dr. Enayati has within the medical community. His office staff is professional and kind, especially Liz and Diana. From the moment you interact with them, first phone and then office, you sense their high motivation to understand your needs and make sure they meet your expectations. My Wife and I both have often discussed the kind of Doctor and staff we consider ideal, and we found it with Dr Enayati and his team. We've had good or even great Doctors with poor staffs that dragged us down, not so here. They are honestly spectacular, they follow up, they communicate, you ask once about an issue or prescription or appointment and it happens with no fanfare. And Dr Enayati is himself extraordinary, he is very detail oriented but personable at the same time. He is also extremely proactive and thoughtful, he sees us as patients but also considers us in a personal relationship so he can provide a very high level of care. Medicine 3.0 at its finest! I am going to agree with everyone here who described the dishonest billing practices. It's quite disturbing to see a health care professional behaving this way. Dr. Enayati is NOT my DR for the record. 2 years ago on 7/16/22 I called my DR-DR Ahn on a Saturday because I got a positive Covid test result and needed advice. Dr. Ahn was out of the office so I got his on call weekend back-up service. I received a call back from a nurse/PA from Dr.Enayati's office as coverage for Dr. Ahn's practice while he was out. They prescribed antibiotics. 3 years later they are harassing me non stop to pay them $400n for an office visit???? This must be illegal. I had no idea this was a "visit". I simply called my DR and received a call back from the Dr on call. This is exactly the kind of Dr focused on petty profit I would never trust. read more

I came over for PreOp by my doctor and was blown away by the kindness, caring and friendly staff. Arlene works the front desk and receptionist, she's amazing. The ladies who did the bloodwork are true pros. taking my blood was easy breazy. The NPR was so caring, attentive, and she speaks in a calming voice. OMG! The radiology team are true professional. Now that one year has passed since my first (and last) horrible appointment with this nasty doctor, I thought I would write a review. I thought about writing a review here for a year but the experience was so upsetting that I have simply procrastinated. What a dreadful doctor. He was unpleasant, cold, UNCARING and he fraudulently charged me 4 times the amount that I had been told in advance. I paid $1,245 out of pocket. I made the mistake of making an appointment with this doctor after another doctor's assistant recommended him. Enayati is/was her personal doctor, so I was not referred to him by my actual doctor, as it says on the invoice. She had even called his office and in detail explained my issue and the help I needed. So Enayati knew exactly about my case before I saw him. Or at least he should have. I made an appointment with Dr. Enayati for June 10th, 2019. The appointments for new patients were 30 minute slots, according to the woman who scheduled the appointment for me. On June 03, 2019, I made a phone call to Enayati's office to ask about the fee for the consultation on June 10. See the photo of the screenshot of the phone call. I told the woman to whom I spoke that I needed to know the exact consultation fee, since I would be paying out of pocket. She said that the consultation fee for "new patients" is $300. I was fine with that. On June 10, 2019, I had the appointment with Dr. Enayati. He walked into the room exactly on time. He seemed cold from the second he walked in. He listened, never smiled, clearly decided that he did not like me and showed no enthusiasm in my case. He listened and took notes and decided in the end that he could not help me. He actually seemed annoyed over that I was there. All he did was to suggest a urine sample. As I walked out of his office I looked at my watch. I had been in his office for exactly 44 minutes. This means that the appointment went 14 minutes over the 30 minutes that I was initially scheduled for. I immediately had a urine sample, which a nurse administered and which took an additional 2 minutes. After the urine sample I was sent to the reception to pay. The receptionist looked kind of embarrassed when she showed me the invoice. She could not even bring herself to say the amount out loud but she pointed to the sum on the paper. It said ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FORTY FIVE DOLLARS! That is $1,245!!!! I was totally shocked. I told the receptionist that I had been told $300 as a new patient over the phone but she said that it was $1,245. She looked sooo embarrassed, as if she also thought that it was not right. If you look at the invoice that I have attached as a photo, Dr. Enayati had decided, without discussing anything with me in advance, to charge this appointment as a "detailed wellness consult" and charged ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS, $1000, for that. In addition to that I was charged another $245 for the urine sample. What a total fraud! Seriously? I called in advance to ask for the price. I was told $300 and specifically told that I would be charged for a consult as a "new patient". I walk out of there, having run 14 minutes over the scheduled 30 minutes, and he charges me $1000 EXCLUDING the urine sample, which was an additional $245. This is such unbelievably horrible behavior of a doctor! I ended up taking my phone up, transferring money from my savings account to my checking account and paid the full sum, then and there. The reception area was full of people and I really did not feel like making a scene right there, although in retrospect I wish I had. I should just have refused paying anything more than the $300 plus the urine sample. Literally on my way home from this god awful appointment I got a text message from Enayati's office, asking me to rate the experience. See attached photo. I responded a few days later by saying that I rate it a zero since I was quoted $300 but instead ended up being charged $1,245. The response was "who quoted you $300?". I decided not to respond to that since I did not know the name of who I had spoken to on June 03 about the fee. My claim that I was quoted $300 should be of NO surprise to the staff since it clearly says on the invoice that the consult cost is $150 - $400 for a new patient. To sum up, it says on the invoice that a detailed consultation for a new patient is $300. I was, as a new patient, charged for a "detailed wellness consult" and paid ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FORTY FIVE DOLLARS!. This is total and utter fraud. It is simply disgusting! I had a nasty experience with an uncaring doctor who decided he could not help me. He knew in advance why I had come to see him, since the person who referred me had called his office and explained in detail what I needed help with. Why did he even take me as a patient if he knew he could not help? I assume to make money! I paid $1,245 for nothing. No wonder he calls himself "Caring MD" - that should be a warning sign right there. read more

I am writing to decribe one of, if not the WORSE experiences i have ever had with a Dr. I agree with Monique A. But additionaly, for what i belive to be at best Highly Dishonest billing and a failure to rectify false billing when made aware of it by a patient. First - i was referred to this Dr. I went into meet him - and decide whether i wanted to SIGN UP FOR their purported "concierge service" - Liz explained this 'concierge service' as SHE (not the dr.) being on call during weekends. She was not my idea of a dr. (as she's not one) - and i had a very very bad instinct. This secertary "LIZ" would not stop calling me to sign up. I was uncomfortable with this aggressive sales approach. I found her (and him) very pushy , aggressive - and really hired to sell rather than help a patient. After too many agressive voice messages from her - I told her i woudl NOT be signing up. and to please stop calling me. And to destroy my finanicial information. Soon to find out they kept my credit card against my instructions. And were charging me yearly unauthorized payments wihtout telling me. THOUSANDS of dollars billed on my credit card without my knowledge or consent. I never saw them again after this vist. Never went in. Never was called. Never sent billing statements. anything. This was in 2021. Let's fast foward to 2024. My lawyer and my CPA/Bookkeeper discovered thousands of dollars charged (Fraudulently) by this ENYATTI. I never authorized this. Never signed up-nothing. MY CPA called this LIZ. She was rude to him. Told us TOO BAD -they had our money. Would not return it. Failed to explain why they kept my credit card. When we told them I never even saw him, she told him too bad - they were keeping my money. I am shocked as a lawyer they would try and get away with this. And i won't have it. That this DR has a secretary who CHARGES potential patients secretly wihout even telling them or servicing them for YEARS who have never signed up - or never even been CALLED OR SEEN. AGAIN - this doctor billed me for years when I never signed up or saw him an then refused to refund the money. Facilitated by his employee/agent "LIZ" I saw another Yelp person who Enyatti did the same thing to - they said he charged them for who knows what. So it seems to be a practice. I SURE HOPE the authorities are reading this. Let this warn the public of this Operation. I will note that i have had the same doctors for some 40 years. Never seen anything so horrible so as to bill a patient you never even saw-for YEARS. Then refuse to look into False charges and rectify them. I did NOT sign up for this operation for a reason. I will never get back the money they took from me secretly only to be discovered years later - and when given notice the DR office failed to return this money which i consider to be STOLEN from me. I'll start off by saying I rarely get sick. I went to the doctor's office recently with some serious congestion. I didn't see the doctor - understandable because I had to get in asap. When checking out I was told that in addition to my co-pay, I had to pay an additional fee of $400.00 for "annual services". They ended up reducing the fee to $200.00 after I voiced my frustration. For someone that visits this office once a year, and pays bi-monthly medical premiums that was just too much. It's unfortunate they think it necessary to charge everyone regardless of number of annual visits the same "admin" fee. If you can afford it - go for it. I plan to find another doctor. read more

If their medical operations run anything like how Liz runs the office itself, RUN! I called back, requesting Liz. A woman Celeste answered. I asked to speak with who ever is above Liz, she told me it's only the doctor and the Celeste hung up me as well. Dr. Enayati has been my primary care physician for over 10 years and every time I have interactions with him and his office I always tell myself that I MUST write a review! Life has a habit of getting in the way and I haven't done it thus far, but here it is now, long overdue! Dr. Enayati is one of the most caring and thorough doctors I've encountered who seems to genuinely care about his patients well being. He really listens to what you are telling him and comes up with a plan to get you on the right health path. I've had problems with my kidneys, stress related problems, arthritis, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and high blood sugar over the years, but thanks to him and his team, I've lost over 30lbs and all of the above mentioned issues are now well within normal range and I feel GREAT! All thanks to him and his teams' guidance and great follow-up The front office girls are always polite and friendly, even amongst the constant barrage of telephone calls and people checking in/out of their busy office and I have to give a special thanks to Liz, the office manager, who stayed late to ensure I was able to get medications from the pharmacy when I had Covid. Last but not least, my favorite addition to the office is Shylan, the nurse practitioner who has helped me through my whole weight loss journey. She is so kind and really encouraged me to keep eating the right things. She was also so thorough in testing my hormone levels for something that my OBGYN prescribed and found that one of them was far too high.
