This place sucks. I was behind on one payment and they repo my car. It took over $2400.00 out of the possession. In addition the repo people they used this woman was extemely rude, had me waiting over 3 hours in the COLD as she felt threaten and would not advise where my car was as I was told to meet her at the Bart as she was going to pick me up. Then called me at 10pm asking me if I could pick my car up. WTF. Only I can say is the woman did bring the car to my residence at 2am in the morning. I got this vehicle in 2017 and should been paid off by now, but they don't even do any refinacing and you have to pay all that interest, not cool. I would have let them have it but I have paid over $20k. They are rude, no assistance, no extension as it is hard now a days, but they are more concerned about they money then the struggles of the average American trying to live in these hard times. Very unorganized and if you are even 24 hours late they call you relentlessly. It's like you borrowed money from a loan shark. Interest rates are way to high so even if you make a higher car payment amount it probably won't even make a dent on the loan amount. My boyfriend has been making his car payments to this company for over a year now. His loan was $25,000 his payments are over $675 per month and he put $5000 down. The balance he still owes on the car as of this month is close to $23,000! Some new laws need be passed so companies like this are shut down forever! I should've read the reviews before I agreed to finance my trailer through this "bank." I've had nothing but issues from the start, and it's only been a few months. The only way to pay without being charged FIVE dollars per payment (even with automatic bill pay!) is in person or with a check in the mail. I went in person once, it was less than enjoyable. I mailed my August payment and post dated it since I don't get paid until the end of the month. THEY CASHED MY CHECK prior to the date on my check! I called and spoke to Melissa and she said they don't take post dated checks, but yet they cashed mine. She also said that "honestly we don't pay attention to the dates." Literally word for word. I'm shocked at the blatant disregard of consideration and common sense. Currently trying to refinance. DON'T BANK WITH THEM EVEN IF THEY ARE YOUR ONLY CHOICE! read more

They don't even deserve one star. This is the WORST financial place ever . If you can ,try to get approved anywhere else but here ! If your ever having trouble it's such a hassle to get any type of help from them . Lost your job to covid well sorry they don't care. They don't have a grace period so if you can't make your due date the calls start. And let's say if your due on the 6th,They start calling you that very same day asking when will you be making your payment. AND even when you make the arrangements they will still call you and everyone else you have listed as a reference and tell every single person that you have not paid lol it's so embarrassing . Most unprofessional financer we have ever been with . Somehow our payment got "lost" in mail along the way , so calling for info to find out what's going on was like pulling teeth . Instead of being kind & helpful they are snide & rude . Spoke to the supervisor Anthony Vidales & not only did he raise his voice but placed blame unfactually & alluded to the idea that we are just skipping payments , when we accused his staff of possibly being responsible for the missing money order he became angry & didn't like the accusations . Beth is also another person we spoke to & in complete honesty I'm not quite sure how either one of these people were hired because clearly they lack an immense amount of professionalism. Sooo from reading reviews Andrea has been working here for years but told me she just got transferred well anyway they bug you call u and all ure references non stop they are harassing you daily hourly ! Christina is also rude these peoples customer service skills SUCK ! attitudes SUCK ! They need to shut the institution down !please choose anybodddyyy else ! Horrible customer service they harass you like there is no tomorrow they would call me a week before my payment was due they would call me the day of my payment was due I got my car in March of this year and I have so much paper from them send me "friendly" reminders of my PAYMENT it drove me so crazy. This lady Andrea would call and not leave a message then when I would talk to her she would chew her gum so loud in the phone it was disturbing I'm so glad I went back to my old bank . They are NOT FDIC insured! I have an auto loan with them and got approved with capital one to refinance the 17% APR I had with AL financial and was declined later on because capital one requires the my financial institution that has my loan be FDIC insured! I was SO Upset! read more

A lot of people have had issues with this company but I'm glad to say I haven't. I have never had bad customer service with them and I rarely feel the need to contact them. They have only called me twice since I got my car and it was because my payment didn't reach them on time. All I did was let them know it was on its way and they left it alone, no further calls. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the payment options being so limited. You either have to make it in person or send it through the mail. I did find a mobile app that lets me know my payment is due but I have not figured out a way to pay online, I'm assuming that online payments are still not a thing with them. It would just make customer experience much better. I live out of state now so if I forget to send it in well in advance I'm screwed because thats the only way I can pay. I paid off my truck in January 2018 and here we are April 23,2018 around 9pm and they send a Repo company to pick up my truck?! Saying I'm behind 222 days according to his records!? Showed this guy the pink slip to my vehicle, he called it in to his company and the person on the phone wanted him to still take it?! WTF?! Finally he unlatched my truck seeing and reviewing the pink slip a couple of times. I don't even blame the this repo guy, he was doing his job... This financial institution is pathetic. Do your JOBS! Very poor customer relations.. they lost one of my payments.. charged me a late payment after I paid it with Western Union so it would not be late,tried to run the lost check through after they had received the payment.. I have called three times now for my title papers(6 weeks after last payment) they are very rude on the phone before and after the loan was paid off.. you would think a professional company could treat you with respect and courtesy but then again that is why I am writing this review.. they are not professionals! read more

I wish there was a way to do ZERO stars. This place is so crooked. They are a bunch of con artists. This review is a few years late but I just found my loan docs and finally decided to review them. Their corporate office in So Cal isn't any better. Their goal is to wait until your loan is almost paid off and then Try and repo your auto if you are even 1 day late on loan payment. I had been laid off of my job and was 1 week behind in my payment and the manager told me if I came in there was paperwork I could sign to give me a 30 day extension (added to the back end of the loan). I had a friend drive me (luckily) and she called me from the parking lot of A-L that a repo driver was driving around the parking lot and even asked him where was my car. Needless to say they didn't have any extension program for me to sign any paperwork, it was just a ploy to get me there to repo my car. I was so glad I didn't drive myself there or else I would have been without a vehicle. I ended up getting back on my feet and paid the loan off but not with an enormous amount of lies from A-L. read more
