The office is located at the corner of Long Pond and English Roads, and shares space with other businesses. There is a small stairwell to climb to get to the office, and they are appointment only. Ashley is a caring practitioner, asking about any medical issues and what areas you'd like to focus on during your massage. I saw her this past weekend for a 90 minute lavender sugar scrub massage, which was as relaxing as it sounds. I actually drifted off during it. She worked out some extreme tension in my neck and shoulders, and though I was slightly sore the next day in those areas, I feel fantastic now! He told me what type of nail I needed when I came in 3 times with pictures of short, square nails. Somehow they looked like barrels. Told me the polish would fill in the divots. Nope. Had to go back on 2 occasions. He wanted to file the nail in awkwardly angled to get rid of the divot. Service there over the years has become terrible.

On 5/16, I came in to have my nails done after previously having builder gel with tips applied the month prior. The man who did my nails was gruff and he grabbed my hand/began cutting away (painfully) at the builder gel on my nails. I must have looked horrified as he then started angrily exclaiming that the nails were acrylic and had not been done at their establishment previously. Both were untrue and I asked him to stop cutting away at my nails. I was then hurriedly switched to a different nail tech. My nails were cut down per my request but at uneven lengths. The tech pointed this out to me and asked if it was okay. I said I preferred the lengths to match and be more uniform. At that point, the nail tech I started with stood up and told me to be patient and that they were not done. I never complained but simply replied to the second tech's question. As she continued doing my nails, I felt an intense burning sensation in my left index finger. She then applied liquid to the nail that left me even more uncomfortable as the burning intensified -- my nail had cracked through the builder gel to my actual nail. The burning continued and the tech gave me a shy smile. Things were wrapping up and I, once again, felt a sharp burning sensation. My same index finger was burning. The tech profusely apologized as I was now bleeding from the cuticle pretty briskly. I was disappointed as my previous encounters were fantastic and this was very off putting. Upon payment, I was made to feel like I had done something wrong as the gentleman who originally started my nails began chastising me for the entire encounter. I have had my manicures and pedicures last over a month and have typically had a great experience. I will give them another chance but will request to not have the gentleman who was very rude and made me feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable.

She also ended 15 minutes early and stated that the time it took for me to go to the bathroom, which was only 2 minutes and the time it took me to get undressed gets deducted from my massage time. On top of that the massage itself was not good. She spent about an hour massaging my arms and she was not paying attention to my body at all. She provided me absolutely no relief and about 5 minutes before she stopped she brought up the tip again.

When asked to increase pressure, I was told she does not give firm massages, that I needed to go to someone who does deep tissue massages, such as the man who does the massages next door to her. (I was not asking for a deep tissue massage, I have had those, and didn't want one; all I wanted an increase in pressure) The "tall lush pants" listed in the Groupon ad are plastic, there was no unscented massage oil, and all through the rub I could hear a dog barking, people talking inside as well as outside; and cars and trucks accelerating. The best part of the whole experience was the hot towels she used. I should have gone to the company website before I bought the Groupon; Dilynda is a licensed Esthetician and Cosmetologist, not a massage therapist, my mistake.... What a disappointment!
